Pam Schaber has amazing handcrafted goods from her Alpacas, Angora Rabbits & Peacocks. I was first introduced to her products while visiting 136 Vintage in St. Croix Falls, WI and was intrigued by the Alpaca wool soaps & beautiful Angora boot toppers.

I just had to contact Pam to see if she would bring her handcrafted goodness to Lucille's Market Barn Sale...as we were chatting she mentioned the beautiful rugs she looms, jewelry made of Peacock feathers and the list goes on. I simply can't wait to see what Pam brings to the Market Barn Sale.

So excited how these cute little grey stools look with gold dipped legs. After realizing that gold paint was $100/gallon, chose gold spray paint for $3.00/can & wa la!

Lucille's Market Barn Sale - Signs
For the longest time I have wanted to design & create Lucille Market Barn Sale signs. Younger brother, Dave to the rescue!

And after a very long weekend of working on the signs with fantastic help from my brothers & their wives, I am pleased to say the Signs are Done! Wow! Did I underestimate the work needed to bring these to life.

Cuervo, NM - Historic Ghost Town or Renovated into a Vintage Shoppe Town?

On our travels home through New Mexico we pulled over to stretch our legs & eat some lunch. We discovered a very cool ghost town, and our minds were swirling with visions of potential! We found out Cuervo was a booming town from 1901-1939 until the freeway was placed right down the center. The buildings were 'beautiful' with their adobe bricks & tin roofs. Couldn't you see these buildings renovated into a little tourist town filled with Vintage, Antique & Re-purposed shoppes!?

So much potential !!

Junk or Bust .... Arizona

Just arrived from Yuma, Arizona where I spent part of the winter gathering Good Junk for Lucille's Barn Sale. The car was full but we were able to make a few Junkin' stops on the 32 hour route home, to add additional treasure.

Midway Cottage Joins the Barn Sale!

I met Midway Cottage owner, Bobbie Rademacher while in Corporate America. Bobbie's husband worked with me & he introduced us because of our shared love for Vintage, Antique & Repurposed! As I was thinking through creative talented individuals to ask to join Lucille's Barn Sale, Midway Cottage crossed my mind several times. I have always loved Midway Cottage's great stuff & was super excited after Bobbie decided to vend at Lucille's Barn Sale in July.

So....welcome Midway Cottage! Can hardly restrain myself from oogling over all of the great finds that will be debueing at the Barn Sale!!

To Clean or To Thrift?

I was faced with a decision whether I should clean the house or thrift shop on this beautiful day. The decision was obvious ..... the house can wait. I found some great stuff thrifting today! Sharing some pictures of the 'Good Junk', all will be for sale at Lucille's Market Barn Sale in July!

I am flying to Phoenix to pick up Lucille & drive back to Minnesota. Our little Saturn Wagon may be making some stops along the way. Let's see, the drive normally takes 4 days but this one may take just a bit longer .......
