Now that summer is almost here, I’m back to gardening. We decided to not keep a vegetable garden this year to conserve water (we do live in the desert), but I’m still keeping and adding container herbs and some petunias. I also have a lot of Asiatic lilies as they have multiplied since last summer and I’m in the process of separating them.

We also sowed white clover to fill in the bare spots in the backyard and it’s sprouting nicely. White clover is a ground cover that needs much less water than regular grass.

Below you can see Asiatic lilies I haven’t split yet, pots with blooming chives, and chamomile waiting to be harvested.
