Bees keep Us.

They are essential to our Life,

without them many of our food sources would vanish.

We depend on bees for the pollination of trees and plants that produce fruits and vegetables such as

apples, oranges, lemons, avocados, blueberries, cherries, cantaloupes, almonds, carrots, broccoli and many more. Honey, royal jelly and propolis are important medicinal foods created entirely by bees.

These creatures are threatened by extinction and it is due to careless human actions.

We have polluted the environment,

disrupting the precious balance of nature with destructive poisonous chemicals.

The use of pesticides, herbicides, and fungicides in commercial agriculture

has resulted in hazardous waste which costs all of us in increased cancer rates, loss of

eco-systems, polluted water-air-soil, as well as death to people and animals.

The choice between 'organic' foods and 'commercial' foods is a decision of

safe or unsafe, pure or contaminated, valuable or costly,

living bees or dead bees, and ultimately food or no food.

Decide that there is only one option worthy of consideration,

that which is as the sun, a giver of all gifts, and the light which illuminates the direction of hope, possibility, Love and future Life.
Now is the transition,

the way is Organic.

There are Only 2,500 Bengal Tigers in the world.

In India, their native wild habitat, there are only 1,700 tigers.

Most of us go numb when we read this.
Numbers have lost their meaning, they have no feeling.

On this Leap year we create the abundance of an extra day.
A united consciousness decides on this arbitrary calendar addition.
Reflect on this abstraction.
Most people do not want tigers to be eliminated,
to see their beauty and right to live extinguished from Our Earth.
This we can agree on.

But can we feel this?

The villagers of Umri in Rajasthan India have relocated their homes
to allow these few tigers more space.

To give what we have so wrongly taken.

In taking there has not been a gain, only the

deep sense of loss that comes from the realization of what we have done.
There is not much time to correct this.
One day is not enough, but maybe we can start seeking personal balance now.
Can each of us relocate?
Can we Unite Our Village and move?
It is possible to find a new home, a new value, a new way of Being.
It begins with each One.
Feel yourself as the White Tiger,

Friendship

In the Mitta Sutta, or discourse on friends, the Buddha tells his monks
to seek out friends with these seven qualities:
"Giving what is hard to give.
Doing what is hard to do.
Enduring what is hard to endure.
Revealing their secrets to you.
Keeping your secrets.
When misfortunes strike, you are not abandoned.
When down and out, you are not looked down upon."

Friendship is a way in which we experience empathy. Sometimes our perspective and life origins make this easy, we are similar and can relate to that which is like the self. This can be on a superficial level according to appearances, profession, heritage, religion, age, gender, or social status. But these distinguishing factors can be dissolved so that we can see any person as a friend based solely on their being. Kindness can be extended to all people, even to those who have not earned this respect.

When we expand this openness we first must be certain we are treating Our self as a friend. Do not abandon You in difficult times. Stay true to your values when tested. Give what is hard to give.

It is possible to view the entire world as a 'friend'. We can all find that gift within. From this place there is no separateness, there are no categories to fill. Your Being is compatible with everything, the trees, fresh air, all the animals, stars, and sea.
This is our earthly friendship, it is One Ship.
