After reading several articles and even more headlines on homeschooling blogs I decided that I was ill-equipped for this job even though I hold three college degrees. So it was decided that he would be enrolled in an accredited online Christian high school. We chose an accredited program due to the simple fact that a high school diploma and transcript from such an institution are looked upon more favorably by colleges and universities than a homeschool diploma and transcript. Private school kids do it too. Even homeschool kids do it. Do you do it too? I am talking about standardized testing and I do not like it. I believe this type of testing represents a very major flaw in our educational system. Test scores are skewed even before the tests are administered due to individual learning deficiencies and styles.
