Oooh! An Inkblot print headband! I hope this isn't a slipless one since they squeeze the heck out of my head but I may have to get it anyway.

So, is a Deep Indigo top the only thing to wear with the Inkblot Yin to You crops? This is the only mental outfit I can make and now that I see it, I don't totally love it. I hope some more photos of these crops pop up so I can see how to pair this with other tops.

I like this outfit much better - the Deep Indigo Ebb and Flow tank with the Quiet Stripe Wunder Under crops.

Outfit of the Day for Spin Class

Last and least for the day - my outfit for spin class: Black Biker Groove shorts, Wish Blue Circle Mesh Cool Racerback, Rocksteady Ta Ta Tamer, and Wish Blue Multi Ponch (MUPS) Scuba. Wish Blue is probably my favorite lulu blue. I bought a ton of it when it came out. I tried to take it easy in spin today to not irritate my ITB but it still was a bit sore after class. It seems better now. I think rolling and stretching right away makes a huge difference. I probably will run next on Sunday. The winds tonight have kicked up something fierce - 25-35 mph with gusts to 65 mph - and aren't supposed to die down until tomorrow afternoon. I went out there with my wind meter (yes, I am a bit of a weather geek) to check and it definitely is in that range. I live at the top of the Santa Ana Canyon (where the Santa Ana winds get their name from) so we get very nasty winds here this time of year. My sister is coming into town tomorrow so I am thinking she might run my measly little workout with me. Maybe she'll tape me up with her KT tape. She tells me she liked it for treating her ITB issues.

I neglected to post this earlier. It definitely looks like the new Swiftly Racerback is Deep Indigo. I suppose it could be black but I'm going with Deep Indigo for now. There is also a new Cross My Heart bra in Deep Indigo.

These are really wild but what top do you wear with this? Are you stuck with Deep Indigo or white tops? I guess you could wear an inkblot print top but I think that would be too much Inkblot print.

Are my eyes deceiving me or does this look like a possible Deep Indigo Swiftly and Wunder Unders? It's hard to tell from the coloring in the photo but it could be. I'm not 100% sure but I will update when I find out for sure. Update - now that I think about this, these are probably Ebb and Flow crops and not Wunder Unders. The new Ebb and Flow crops come in Deep Indigo.

I think my bank account is in big trouble. I really like Deep Indigo. I think I need this whole outfit. I like the DI Grooves a lot. Here is a photo of the Inkblot Power Y with matching Deep Indigo Grooves. I swear an educator told me Deep Indigo Wunder Unders are coming but I am not sure.

I think I like the Inkblot Power Y a little better than the Cool Racerback but I will have to try them on. I think I need a Lively tee in this print, too.

Outfit of the Day: Couch to 5K, Week 4 Day 1

I didn't run until nearly noon so it was 80 degrees and sunny out by the time I left home. I won't make that mistake again. Running in direct sun on a hot day SUCKS! Anyway, my OOTD (outfit of the day) is an Aruba Run: Revitalize short sleeve top (made of silverescent circle mesh - love this material for hot weather), luxtreme Run: Take Flight Bike Shorts (I can tell these will become my favorite run shorts for warm weather), and a white Flight Running Bonnet. As I was running I wondered why I didn't wear my Energy sleeveless tank. I would have loved to have a little of my back bare for cooling.

Today was the first day of Week 4 of the Couch to 5K plan. The workout today was a 5 minute warmup walk, run 3 minutes, walk 90 seconds, run 5 minutes and walk 2 1/2 minutes and repeat the run/walk portion twice. I didn't do any extra intervals since I have been having various aches and pains pop up when I overdo things. I also want to do spin tomorrow. This run did not suck nearly as much as the run on Tuesday but it wasn't particularly enjoyable either. Running for three minutes right off the bat wasn't too bad either but the five minute run intervals were not easy. I had to keep visualizing how awesome my new Ebb and Flow crops will look as my hips shrink from running. ;-) I think I might have felt better if I had gone earlier. The first run of the new "week" always seems to be hard so I am hoping things will go better when I run again on Saturday or Sunday. My son has a soccer tournament both days so I have to think about when I want to squeeze a run in. I prefer to work out earlier when I have more energy. My legs were definitely kind of tired during the second five minute run. I haven't felt that before in a run. I've been out of breath but not really fatigued.

Today's Shopping Trip - Ebb and Flow Crop Lurv

I got to try on a few new things today. First was the Ebb and Flow tank. This tank ran snug in the chest, looser at the waist and snug at the hips. The armpits rode kind of low on me (straps offer zero support) so armpit fat was an issue. I tried it on with another bra underneath but it was too restrictive. I liked material, though, and the Deep Indigo color is gorgeous - a dark purplish blue.

I tried on the Switch Back LS and liked it. I thought the fit was on the roomier side but it could be the luxtreme side panels have lots of stretch which made it feel looser. I didn't think the length was too short. In fact, the top hit me in about the same spot it's hitting the girl in the photo (I'm 5'5"). The weight was slightly heavier than my Hills and Energy Pullovers so I'd say typical running luon. I know a lot of people said it felt "thin" to them but I think they are comparing it with the recent textured running luons used in the Run: Turn Around or herringbone luon used in the Full Tilt Pullovers. I do agree with everyone about the thumbholes being uncomfortable. They are small and edged with contrasting material which makes them feel hard against your skin. I find I tend to use my thumbholes when I run so I can see how this could be a deal breaker.

I can see the tag but not underwear

The surprise of the day was that I went home with a pair of the Ebb and Flow crops ($78). I certainly didn't expect to like them but I found them super comfortable and I liked how the 4" waistband really held me in. The tag says they are medium rise and they come up high enough that I don't have any muffin top issues. The material is thick and flaw hiding though very stretchy. If you do a deep bend it will become sheer(er) so that is something to be aware of. I was thinking I might like to try running in them sometime when the weather cools down again. I might give them a try in spin tomorrow if the weather is cooler. I'd say this new material has very interesting potential. The store manager said they have been selling very well.

I also heard today there is supposed to be a new reversible knit cardigan coming.

Aussie Heads Up - Paris and Black Swiftly Tanks, Paris Arise Bra, New Color - Lavender Dusk

I don't have any photos yet but one of my Australian product emails said they had Swiftly Racerback tanks coming in Paris Pink and Black.

Also from Australia, a Paris Pink Arise bra is coming. I need to try this on. The design has been changed a bit and people are raving about it. It now goes up to size 12. (I swear I saw the camo Arise bra in a 12 on the website on Tuesday's upload but I guess they all sold out - wow!) I certainly don't think this will be enough support but it may look nice layered under another tank.

There are some new style hair ties coming out. The pale purple color is Lavender Dusk.

Showing up in US showroom product notice emails - the Inkblot Deep Indigo Power Y and Cool Racerback. This will probably hit most US stores early next week.

There are also new Groove pants with an Inkblot print waistband. I think the pants themselves are Deep Indigo and not black.

There is also a new Paris Pink Define. The description say regular luon (as opposed to brushed). It looks very similar to the previous version of the brushed PP Define:

Black Push UR Limtis Tank

Lots of photos of the Black/Black Microstripe Switch Back LS. People have been telling me this is a lightweight run top that I might find good for the Southern California climate. I haven't read too many negative try on reports other than it runs a bit shorter than the Turn Around LS. I am hoping to try it on tomorrow. I kind of like the black version best but it gets kind of hot when the sun is out.

Some detail photos on the Ebb and Flow Crops. I have read comments that they are kind of sheer - can see the outline of your underwear to you can see everything when you bend all the way over. I have also read people are finding these comfortable but may be mostly getting them for casual wear.

I have read comments that this tank feels very comfortable and like a Power Y made out of swiftly knit so it sounds intriguing. I think I might like it for spin if I wore another bra under it. Not sure if I want to spend $64 on this top, though. I am definitely trying this on tomorrow.

C25K W3D3 OOTD (Couch to 5K Week 3, Day 3 Outfit of the Day):

This is my run outfit for today: Dark Classic Sport Gray (DCSG) LS Swiftly, black Run: Passion Crops, Lavendar Gray Ta Ta Tamer, Citron Ombre Stripe Run: Reflection Vest, Citron Mesh Headwrap, Lulu socks and technikini underwear. The weather was sunny and mid-50s.

The workout for today was Day 3 of Week 3: 5 minute warmup followed by 90 sec run, 90 sec walk, 3 min run, 3 min run, repeated twice. From start to finish this run sucked and was an effort the whole way. I kept waiting for my endorphins to kick in and it to feel "easier" but it never did. The only good thing about my run was ogling a buff fireman washing his car in the driveway in a sleeveless shirt - gotta love a little eye-candy to perk up a workout. I think my sucky run was due to a couple of things - a fairly low-calorie, low-carb day (118g) yesterday, and not enough sleep for the past couple of days. I've been working out long enough to realize that you have bad days every now and then but I felt so energetic on Sunday that today was a disappointment. Anyway, this one is in the books and on Thursday I start Week 4 of the program: run 3 min, walk 90 sec, run 5 min, walk 2.5 min, run 3 min, walk 90 sec, run 5 min. A couple of observations about my clothes - I really like running in luxtreme bottoms (my thighs slide past each other) and mesh headwraps kind of suck to run in (they fall off my head unless I pull them low on my forehead).
