Some interesting new items were uploaded (late) tonight but the only ones I really like are the Runbeam LS and the Mod Waves Cool Racerback. I didn't get either of these tonight because I am hoping for different colors in both of them. I would have also liked a Cool Breeze Swiftly tank but that wasn't uploaded either. I know a lot of people were waiting for the Multi Groovy Striped CRB and Energy bra but neither of those were uploaded. I've decided to pass on both of those.

The Track and Train tank reminds me of last years's Top Speed tank. I bought one of those last year and am super curious to try this new version on.

I am also curious to see the new Amped Tank in person. It's hard to tell from the photos which is the luxtreme portion and which is the swift. I think the entire outer shell is swift but I could be wrong.

Nothing for me tonight, not even a headband. I've decided to pass on the Pizazz (too bright) and Raspberry Glo (bleeder) bangbusters. What did you all get?

New Amped Tank. It looks like it's made of Swift and the back "belt" makes it look like an apron so it'll be an easy pass for me. Though, if it turns out it's made of Circle Mesh I am in. It looks like the bra is attached.

Men's Lululemon on TV: Veep

It's rare to spot lululemon on male characters on TV shows but on last night's episode of Veep Gary was wearing a pair of Kayak Blue Pace Breaker shorts. I like how Gary is wearing a hydration belt for a cool weather 10K. One of my favorite line's from this episode: "I'm not going to get beaten by a banana."

Lululemon to Open Men's Stand Alone Stores

Lululemon is planning to open stand alone men's stores to capture more of the men's athletic wear market. My husband seemed pretty underwhelmed by the idea when I told him about it. He has no problem going into our local stores to do his shopping. There are always plenty of nice looking women who are wearing snug fitting pants and tops so it's not like that is any kind of a deterrent for most guys. It's probably a benefit compared to the big box sports stores. My local lulu stores always have at least one guy on the floor to talk to the men about the products, too, so it's not like he has to ask a woman whether his junk can breathe (or whatever guys care about) in a certain pair of shorts.

What I think lululemon needs to do is show more professional athletes wearing their product. My husband's interest in the brand certainly perked up when he saw professional golfer Ryan Moore wearing lulu in a tournament on TV.

Lululemon also did a nice job of getting their logo out for the US Men's Doubles Olympic Volleyball team last summer.

One thing I think lulu does need to do for the men's line is go back to the old men's logo. It was definitely more masculine looking than the current one, which is the same one - same size and shape - as the women's side.

Update - My husband points out to me that lululemon clothes are cut very athletically so you need to be pretty slender through the midsection. He says the major brands like Nike, Adidas are usually more generously cut.

So, guys, what do you think of lululemon's plan to open mens only stores?

Multi Groovy Stripe Print Power Y Bleeds (Updated)

This is the sweat print of a Multi Groovy Stripe Power Y after a woman's run. A reader also commented yesterday how her Cool Breeze/ Multi Groovy Stripe No Limit tank had bleeding of the yellow stripes in other parts of the print. I also just read of another women having her multi groovy stripe Power Y bleed on her. If you still love this print make sure to wash it in hot water first to get rid of the excess dye.

Update - Now that I think about this a little more, the above sweat print looks like the Raspberry Glo trim is what was bleeding most on the Power Y.

Make sure to check the stripe alignment. Some are crooked.

Also, check out the direction of the stripes versus the bottom hem - they're crooked. I thought lululemon was sending people to the factories to check up on quality. Uh huh.

I tried on three versions of the Multi Groovy Striped Power Y but didn't find one I loved. I like it in the photos but not on me. I don't know if I'm in a downer mood or something but it just struck me as too bright or maybe too young. I definitely liked the solid Cool Breeze/Power Purple Power Y much better so I went home and ordered the CRB in that color since neither of my stores received that color. The Multi Groovy Striped CRB has hit Canadian stores but is not in the US yet.

I also tried on the Ta Ta Topper Tank and liked it. It struck me as fitting TTS and not overly generously cut for a run tank. It runs smaller than the similar Tame Me Tank.

The Cool Breeze Voyage Sweat Crops look nice with the Multi Striped Tame Me Tank. I think I like this tank better with lighter colored bottoms than black bottoms, which is how I tried it on.

How impressive is the post in the top photo? I had to use that for the leadoff photo. Lots of photos of the new Step Lively Crop. I saw them in the store today but since they only go to a ten didn't bother trying them on. They look comfy in these photos, though.

I tried on the Voyage Sweat Crops today at two different stores today and nearly bought them. I really liked the material (thick with good coverage), the shape, and fit. They are super casual looking, though, so decided to pass for now. I thought they fit TTS.

New Hip to Be Zen crops. They look a lot like Groove Crops to me.

I was hoping to try on the new Ta Ta Topper today but neither store I went to had them out yet.

People are saying the new Fast Track luxtreme run shorts ride up with movement.

The Athletic Deep V is Back!

As revealed in the Australian upload, the Athletic Deep V Tank has come back. This is one of my favorite tanks so I am cautiously excited about this. The only reason I am not doing full on cartwheels is because this tank has luon light in it. I am assuming the bra and strap portion is regular weight luon and the torso portion is luon light. The mesh in the back has been changed from Power Mesh (which honestly was a bit scratchy) to the more comfortable generically-named anti-stink mesh. I am also a little bummed to see this tank only goes up to a size ten. This tank was well known to have a very snug fit and many people sized up in it. Anyway, I am excited to see it hit the North American market. It seems as though lululemon is starting to dig out some beloved "vintage" designs lately. The new Voyage Sweat crops resemble older Varsity crops.

A number of cute things were uploaded tonight. This Ta Ta Topper is cute but I want to try it on in the store. It looks a bit snug in the bust on the model. Also, my running "uniform" is usually a Swiftly tank and luxtreme crops and I find that I just don't reach for the other running tops in my closet other than short sleeve ones like the Runbeam or Revitalize SS to cover my upper back from the sun.

The Voyage Sweat crops look very comfy to me but I want to try them on in the store. I have a pair of organic cotton Pranotthana crops I got off ebay that I really like and these remind me of them.

I would really like this Power Y but I need to cherry pick one for good stripe distribution. I would love one with a lot of pink in it like in the second photo (thanks to Ms. D. for the photo).

I didn't order anything tonight, what did you all get?
