There was a picture online yesterday of the little 'love note' label on this Every Yogi Short Sleeve Tee and now I can't find it. The more I see pictures of this tee the more I'm considering getting it. Besides the little cute love note in it I'm really liking the slightly longer sleeve length. Not quite 3/4 but still longer then usual.

Thanks to a reader for tipping me off on this one, the US side of the website has a hint at the upcoming No Limit Tanks (confirmed by GEC). There will be a Heathered Aquamarine and Dazzling which I believe is the orange we saw in this sneak peek video on the lululemon website for the Astro Pants. According to another reader we will also see various items in the Space Dye/ We Are From Space print seen below in Dazzling, Ultraviolet and Aquamarine.

Store Report: Cool Racerback *Rib

I momentarily peeked in at my store today to have a look at the new Every Yogi LS and SS and Coquitlam did indeed have the heathered Aqua which is gorgeous and soft. Looks just like the Cabin LS's. Unfortunately I wasn't able to try anything on this time but I do plan on returning for proper try ons very soon. Definitely tempted by the Every Yoga Short Sleeve which has an adorable (and yes very gimmicky) inner tag that says 'Love Always' or something like that. It's silly I know but I found it really cute. Maybe I'd wear mine inside out. The Rib CRB's were in and I was really surprised at how very soft the Paris Pink one was. Thin, soft and super stretchy. The others, Fossil and Black were soft as well but not nearly as soft as the Paris Pink one was. Also I was pleased at it being 94-97% Nylon Spandex with no polyester which is what the Ebb and Flow Crops are made out of and they are extremely durable. If you haven't already, get the Ebb and Flow Crops. They are THAT amazing. Lululemon, I want to see more items in this Ebb and Flow material. I don't exactly know what it is other then Nylon Spandex in a really nice knit but it's just amazing in every way. There are reports that the Apres Run Anorak which is another item I really love is on sale in some stores for $109 (down from $158 I think). My store didn't have them marked down today but If you see them and you've been sitting on the fence about them I do recommend it for very rainy climates like mine.

Photos of the latest in no particular order. Rumor is that the original paris pink run of items is being pulled from stores today. Their are items in Paris Pink in a second run that are ok and not experiencing color running and fading and those are not being pulled. I washed my Heathered Paris Pink CRB last night after wearing it to crossfit and I had no problems with it so far so it may depend on the batch that it came from. My Heathered Rose Petal Scuba Hoodie however is in rough shape. I washed it the other day for the first time and yesterday I noticed that there is very drastic fading along all of the seams. It looks terrible since it's such a soft color to begin with.

Every Yoga Long Sleeve

I kind of hate that they are renaming these items and then marking them up $10. I do think that Vitasea is an improvement but when the Modern came in a Vitasea version last year the price remained the same. I initially really wanted an Aquamarine Cabin LS and there is an Every Yoga LS in Heathered Aquamarine that reverses to grey...but I think I will pass.

Ebb and Flow Crops

What the hell is this miraculous space material? it's thin and airy yet it compresses and smoothes. It doesn't pill or snag...it's just awesome. If you can get your hands on a pair get them because they are terrific.

More of the Every Yoga LS. I'm not a fan of this one, you can see the thinner stripes thru on the reverse side since they are so dark.

I'm tempted by this Every Yoga SS in Heathered Aquamarine. I love the color and I love that the sleeves are slightly longer than most short sleeves.

This Run: Swiftly Tech 1/2 Zip is gorgeous. I am half tempted by it but I'm resisting. I like that the zipper looks a bit improved from the last Swiftly zip up with some contrast color and reflectivity.

A US store just posted this picture of the Apres Practice Anorak in Deep Indigo. I actually find the Deep Indigo in the swiftly material much brighter in person than it shows in the product images. More of a true jewel tone indigo than a Navy.

I was in a huge rush when I was in store earlier today so I missed a ton of new items but apparently the Flow and Go Tote is in in the Deep Indigo Ink Blot Print as well as Cool Racerback Tanks in Fossil and in Lavender Dusk. The Lavender Dusk CRB is definitely on my wish list but I am needing it to not be in stores quite yet. Also there is a new In Stride Jacket in Heathered Deep Indigo and a new Every Yogi Tee in Indigo Ink Blot Print. I'm guessing these items will all be uploaded tonight along with the Flow & Go Tanks and the Dance Studio Crops and Pants.

Product Drop Monday: Dance Studio Crops, Flow and Go Tanks, Pacesetter Skirts and More

I would normally be all over the Dance Studio Crops but instead I'm considering getting a second pair of the Ebb and Flow Crops. They are THAT awesome. I know it's comparing apples to oranges but what I like about the Studio Crops is how light and airy it is for warmer weather as apposed to luon, well the Ebb and Flow Crops are much, much cooler than luon so I'm thinking those will be my spring/summer wear with anything crops. Especially since I can wear them to Crossfit, running or casually.

The Apres Practice Anorak was in store today in a full run, not just a lonely online return. This picture shows why I shy away from this jacket. This girl is tiny and the jacket, especially in this color ads volume to her that is non existent. I think it looks really cute on some but on a pear shape like mine, that bottom portion is really tricky for me to pull off.

Word on the street is that this new Aquamarine Pacesetter Skirt is a 4-way stretch.

I kinda hate when the shorts underneath don't match the outer layer. I guess black is safer though for sheerness.

I was feeling the hype of the Flow and Go Tank this weekend since so many people are going nutso over these but I really don't have much practical use for it for crossfit or running so I'm going to pass on it.

Are these new Pique WU's or are they the black wee stripe that reverses to denim?

And just a shout out. Dude, this color looks fantastic on you. I wish the women's line had a few items in this color.

Deep Indigo Swiftly Compared With The Black Swan Swiftly

Here is an excellent comparison picture of the Deep Indigo Swiftly on the Left and the Black Swan Swiftly on the right. I think there are differences between both colors but I probably wouldn't want both. If you're a purple girl just stick with the Black Swan. Personally I gravitate to blues in my closet so if I had Black Swan I'd sell it in order to get the Deep Indigo but I'd definitely not keep both.

OT: In Honor Of February Being Eating Disorders Awareness Month

Earlier last week I was contacted by a reader named Amy who works at the Kelty Mental Health Resource Centre at BC Children's Hospital as an eating disorders peer support worker with a small request of posting a link for her facebook page she runs (Love Our Bodies, Love Ourselves) on my lulumum facebook page. The goal is simply to raise awareness and understanding since it is such a misunderstood disease and to promote a more positive way of regarding ourselves because February is Eating Disorder Awareness Month.

As a mother of two young girls and since I have family members that struggle with this disease I really wanted to do a bit more and give Amy a post where she could write a message to my readers. We are such a fitness focused group, and as a result we are also very body aware. We can't help but focus on our outward appearance when what we are discussing is fitness, fitness clothing and diet a lot of the time. Let us just be aware of how our messages may effect someone who struggles with these diseases and recognize that although we aren't struggling with our bodies in the same way, there may be someone close to us that is struggling.

Here is Amy's message:

My name is Amy Candido and I work here at the amazing Kelty Mental Health Resource Centre at BC Children’s Hospital as the Eating Disorders Peer Support Worker. Here I assist and support people of all ages who are struggling with eating disorders. I also help parents and families learn how to cope with their family member who is struggling. Another aspect of working at the Kelty Centre is helping people and professionals understand the disorder, as well as provide guidance and support on how to approach and talk to those who are struggling.

Every February we, along with Jessie’s Legacy, are in charge of putting on the Provincial Eating Disorder Awareness Week (PEDAW). This year’s theme is “Love Our Bodies, Love Ourselves!” It is a Province wide effort to raise awareness around prevention, early intervention and treatment of Eating Disorders as well as resiliency, healthy body image, and self-esteem. Upon request, we are sending out a resource package which includes a list of meaningful and engaging discussions, activities for the school or workplace, positive affirmations, and excellent resources and links which also promote Eating Disorder Awareness and Body Image! We also have wristbands with our theme, “Love Our Bodies, Love Ourselves,” embossed on it in the official Eating Disorder periwinkle color! In addition, we are going to various schools putting on several presentations for Eating Disorder Awareness and Prevention.

To launch PEDAW, we are organizing a Flash Mob downtown at the Vancouver Art Gallery(date not set yet --we’re looking at mid-February). I will be running the Facebook page, and every so often will be asking creative questions in hope to engage people to reflect upon them and generate ideas of how we can ‘love our bodies and love ourselves.’

Sneak Peek of The SeaWheeze Shorts We Are Getting With Our Registration

Lululemon just posted a picture of this outfit on their facebook page for a thread about the SeaWheeze Half Marathon being 6 months away. The entire outfit is made up of the colors of the SeaWheeze website and logo and so I'm pretty sure at least the shorts will be what we are getting (rumored to be going out at the end of this month). I'm hoping we get the tank as well to make up the entire outfit. Although I don't run in shorts I'm pretty excited about these ones, they are really sweet looking. I definitely would like to be able to run in them but if they don't work out for that I will definitely wear them casually. This sure beats most of the race tee shirts I've seen from other races, thats for sure!

Thanks to Tracy for sharing her find today from a SoCal store. The Flow and Go Tank is priced at $64 (can't remember the old price of this tank, I think it was the same) and it comes in Indigo, Black and White as well. Last years version the Flow & Go ran tight in the neck according to some reviews but Tracy says this run is different and doesn't pull at the neck

It looks like there are actually two versions of the *Rib CRB's. One with a curved hem and one with a regular hem. In the picture of the curved hem version you can really see the subtle ribbed stripes on it so maybe the non curved hem isn't a *rib version since it's the same color but you don't see the rib stripes in the picture.

Oooh this CRB will be mine!! This popped up in an Australian Product alert email and its the same ribbed stripe version of the CRB I wrote about yesterday with the picture of the Paris Pink. Items that arrive in Australian mostly do eventually come to North America for those of you asking yesterday. My We Are From Space printed Run: Chase Me Crops have Lavender Haze lines in the print so I'm definitely getting this one to pair with it and will pass on the Aquamarine CRB for now.

Oh, I also got a chance to ask an educator today if all the new Paris Pink items have had the dye bleed issues solved and she thought that yes, they have corrected the problem in this batch although they are still keeping the 'caution' suggestions on the items just in case.

I think this tank uploaded on the international side just in black this past week but Australia has it in Aquamarine as well. I'm quite intrigued by this tank because the bodice is made of Swift material just like a lot of the run shorts and skirts, and the bust is luxtreme which I love. I really hope it's 4-way stretch actually because 4-way Swift is cool and light and feels like silk and the 2-way is just a bit stiffer, I think swift also shows sweat quite a bit. I also really LOVE that this tank doesn't have a bra in it already. I prefer to layer my own bras under tanks and I find when I buy a bra tank I don't end up wearing it much. The back looks like a Ta Ta Tamer would be hidden by the straps nicely. Since I've been wanting to get a technical tank in Aquamarine I think I will wait for this one.

Thanks again to Megan for a close up shot of the Striped Ribbed CRB now in Australia. You can sort of see some horizontal stripes of vertical ribbing in this closeup. Best way to describe it is the faint detailing you see on the Ebb & Flow Tanks. I'm hoping we see a Deep Indigo version of this Striped Ribbed CRB as well because I'd love one with this detailing on just a plain old solid color.

Here it is compared with the Heathered Paris Pink on the left, Ribbed Striped CRB in centre and Solid Paris Pink Arise Bra on the right which is only slightly lighter than the CRB.

There was a decent product drop in stores today with more of the latest items we saw uploaded on Tuesday morning. I was feeling really tempted to get a technical run top in Aquamarine today since I was in store doing some returns (Transition Wrap which my husband totally hated and a few other things). I so badly wanted to try on the Aquamarine Run: Back On Track Tank but I just wasn't able to with both of my kids, my almost two year old has staged a coup with the stroller and so now I'm stuck pushing a double and chasing two toddlers. NIGHTMARE! Anyways, It's a tie between the Run: Back On Track Tank, the Aquamarine Swiftly Tech LS and the Aquamarine CRB as far as technical tops I'm currently eyeing. I grabbed the last Yin Me Pullover in Aquamarine in a size 10 but it's really big and I would much prefer the 8. That top my husband did love. He really liked the style and especially the color and so he persuaded me to get that in exchange for the Transition Wrap. Oh why did I not get the proper size when I had the chance last week. Kicking myself now because I know as soon as I commit to keeping it in the 10, an 8 will pop up.
