Luminix Photo recently joined forces with CANSA in order to help people with cancer.  We decided to launch a campaign, focused on the kids with cancer, although this campaign does not exclude adults with cancer.  The campaign is called CK or Cancer Kids, which gives these kids a chance to belong to an exclusive ‘club’, if we can call it that.

Magic Wand Project

Luminix Photo, together with CANSA also launched a project for the CK kids, dubbed the Magic Wand Project, as we tend to make some of these kids’ dreams a reality.  We are currently planning a fun day for the CK kids, one whole day where these kids could almost forget about their illness and just have fun and interact with other people.  Anyone and everyone is welcome to be a part of the fun, as there will be a bunch of fun activities for everyone, as well as some bands and artists performing throughout the day, with a show in the evening to top it all off.  All the proceeds will then go towards these kids and CANSA.

We really want to make this day one for the books for these kids, and that is why we need all the help we can get.  Luminix Photo will handle all the arrangement, free of charge.  We will also bring a whole team of photographers to capture this great event on camera, and print the photos, absolutely free.  This way we can ensure that everyone can remember this day, long after it is gone.  At this stage, we still need to finalise the date and the venue.  If there is any way you can help us to make this day even more special for these kids, or if you need more information, please do not hesitate to contact us.
