Exodi is finally releasing Stephanie! After several months and a few teasing, we finally get to have her all to ourselves. This is the first skin for 2010 … its going to be such a great year!

Today, March 13, 12pm-2pm slt, there is a huge ol’ launch party at the new sim: Exodi. Here’s a cool giveaway, if you purchase one of the Stephanie skins, you’ll have a chance to win one of the five BYO fat packs of 8 skins. This is an awesome opportunity to hopefully win those skins you have always wanted but never purchased.

There’s more goodness happening on the sim. The party will also kick off the St. Patrick’s Day minihunt and reopen the fishing hole. Yes, I still fish. How can I not – the Exodi prizes are fantastic!

New Releases: Phoenix Rising & EarthStones

I’m again very pleased with the releases from Phoenix Rising. Long dresses are more my style; not these types of gowns. I just couldn’t resist the bodice or, erm, lack there of. Its just what this dress warranted.

A full empire skirted dress with a micro top and flower accent is for soon-to-be release from EarthStones. This necklace and the matching earrings and bracelet will be launched at the RFL Clothing Fair opening tomorrow.

Press Release: Second Life’s 4th Annual RFL Clothing Fair

The Clothing Fair committee is proud to announce the dates for Second Life’s 4th Annual Clothing Fair benefiting Relay for Life. Events are set to launch on Saturday, March 13th at 3pm slt and run 24/7 through Sunday, March 21, 2010 when the doors must close at 9pm SLT.

This year is no different. Prepare to be immersed in 8 of the greatest “Fashion Cities of the World” surrounding a center sim patterned after the UN Sculpture Gardens containing sculptures from some of SL’s most talented artists.

We have some of the cream of the crop coming together in the fashion world of Second Life bringing designs from all over the world to this virtual shopping experience. Each of these designers dedicate months of time getting ready for this event. They are all committed to raising as much money for Relay for Life as possible.

This year we are again inviting the Live Musicians and DJ’s of Second Life to join us. Covering 24/ 7 through-out the fair, fund raising, and letting us all know just what can be found through-out the 9 sims.

The Clothing Fair 2010 promises to be even better than ever, featuring:

Live Music and DJ’s to keep you entertained while you shop

~unreleased~ Tuli – Eva

I’m super picky and choosy on what skins I blog. Very few designers have been able to capture my attention. Tuli is one of those designers on that very short list.

Tuli’s Eva,to be released on March 18, will be shown off with the sim opening. Journey, the store’s sim, has always been very well staged for such stunning work. I’m really looking forward to seeing the new landscaping.

Before the launch, be sure to check out Tuli. You’ll find some of the skin lines discounted as well as the clothing in the temporary location high above the clouds.

Ok so alittle about Eva. The makeups are more dramatic in this line. Even the most “natural” looking face packs an impressive punch with its pale tones and soft under-eyeliner. I’m a makeup girl so any of my favorite skin designers have me at the “natural” face. I think if this base face is done well the rest of the faces will be amazing.

With that being said, go now to get the current skin lines marked at a discount and come back in a week for the sim reopening to see Eva. What a great name for such a beautiful name.

review Whippet & Buck

Whippet & Buck launched new things – lingerie and jewelry. Happiness is that very combo.

This is my first time wearing lingerie from this designer and I’m really quite impressed. The back detailing is just as beautiful as the front. Even the colors in the set are dream-like and soft. Just perfect!

Don’t fret if you don’t like to be “covered” when wearing lingerie, the cincher with or without the garters are created on its own layer.

As I noted, “this designer” is not typically part of the WB crew but let’s hope she stays onboard to make more pretty things for us.

The other release is the pearl necklace. When first released it was a Friday Linden Friday item. Now its a regular release in several colors.

I’m looking forward to more items from WB. Its great to have this store releasing items again!

(pda) is closing

I was bummed to hear when Izzy announced on plurk that (pda) would be closing. The last day for his store is March 7th, tomorrow. Swing by (pda) before it closes its doors to pick up the two poses packs. Yes two – one from Izzy Bereznyak and the other from Samara Cioc. These packs are loaded with about 100 poses each for only 1000L. Some of the poses are unreleased even! Here’s a little sample of what you will find in the pack from Izzy:

review Phoenix Rising Innocence

Phoenix Rising is usually that store that I browse for a more upscale casual look. The latest release includes a long flowing dress with a plunging neckline. The skirt was perfect to test out my newest learned photoshop skill: Motion.

Accessory Fair 2010: EarthStones

The Accessory Fair is just days away and the designers, like the AF team, are all a buzz. I’m thrilled to be able to share one of the items that’ll be released at the fair. This is from EarthStones and called Hera Diamond Earrings, shown here in spice, will surely be a hit for this designer. Each earring is 255 prims! I still don’t know how Abraxxa isn’t blind from working with so many tiny prims.

I was lucky enough to get a quick chat in with her last night. She’s hoping to release a matching rin. Not to push Abraxxa but I hope she does! I’m really looking forward to making this into a set.
