Overland Park, Kansas – January 17, 2012 – Lusio Solid-State Lighting today announced the installation of Lusio SSL fixtures in Bascom Truck and Automotive Inc.’s Midwest facility in Des Moines, IA.

Bascom Truck & Automotive, Inc., which has been providing automotive and truck repair since 1975, selected Lusio SSL fixtures when expanding their current facility at the end of 2011.

Overland Park, Kansas – December 13, 2011 – Lusio Solid-State Lighting’s LED high bay fixtures have been included in the 2011 Illuminating Engineering Society (IES) Progress Report and recognized as products that provide significant developments and improvements in the lighting industry.

Acceptance in the Progress Report is based on an impartial judging process by a committee of more than 30 representatives from lighting industry leading manufacturers and lighting design firms. The Committee evaluates each submission on its uniqueness, innovation, and significance in the lighting industry. Lusio was one of about 150 products recognized from submissions that included products and manufacturers from all categories of the lighting industry.

The Lusio high bay LED fixtures were formally recognized by the IES Progress Committee at the recent 2011 IES Annual Conference in Austin, TX.  The 2011 IES Progress Report is now posted on the IES website and will be presented at IES Section meetings throughout the year. The Report will also be featured in the January 2012 issue of Lighting Design + Application (LD+A) magazine.
