During the Trial of Ascension, three Sealbearers faced off for the final event: Kelly McCloud, Princess of Celest; Sir Kalas Ixion of Magnagora; and Spirit Warden Xenthos An'Ryshe of Glomdoring. Sir Ixion was supported by an alliance of Magnagora, Serenwilde and Hallifax while Xenthos and Kelly mainly had support only from their respective organizations.

The Sacrifice of the Enigma

The Soulless God Kethuru attempted to use the temporal fields around the City of Hallifax to break free while the Nine Seals were in a weakened state. Opening a rift over Hallifax, the Soulless God began to ooze forth, draining the floating city's power and energy. The Elder God Elostian quickly came to the aid of Hallifax, sacrificing himself to
recharge the generators within the city, enabling the city's defenses to shut down the dimensional anomaly and close the rift.

Challenge of Justice

The Challenge of Justice saw many great debates while the Administrators of Fate referreed. Though competition was fierce, Morbo arose as the preeminent debater and claimed the the Seal of Justice!

Challenge of Beauty

Trademasters from all across the Basin of Life submitted their finest designs, vying to provide the most creative, most aesthetically appealing, and most attractive creation in order to claim the Seal of Beauty! Numerous designs of outstanding quality were submitted, but the Seal ultimately went to Maellio Onz'Verheu of Hallifax!

Challenge of Death

Mortals from across the Basin gathered with weapons drawn and ready, each eager to test their deadly skill on the denizens of Lusternia in the Challenge of Death. Though Malarious took the lead at first, Inagin of New Celest powered past him and maintained a strong hold on first place. Xena, Malarious, and Talan raced after him, but Chade quickly
overtook all of them, securing second. Inagin's tireless efforts, however, kept him in the lead until the challenge ended.

Congratulations to Inagin who now bears the Medallion of Death.

Bridge Over Hallifax

Late in the month of Dioni, 317 years after the Coming of Estarra, Eritheyl Skyplume began to find metal bolts lying around the City of Hallifax. Becoming concerned that the bolts had fallen from an important machine or that they could cause structural instability in the city, Erithel, along with Lawliet Letara and Oberst Ushaara scoured the city for the source of the missing bolts, finding nothing missing from the city's generators and gaining little information from the city's scientists.

Challenge of Life

On the 22nd of Kiana, 317 CoE, a serious outbreak of a lethal and fast-spreading illness fell upon the furrikin race. Many citizens of the Basin gathered, and subsequently split, to save as many as possible. Almost five hundred were infected, and there were fatalities in the hundreds. However, by a (very!) small margin, those saved managed to outweight those lost.

Mortals come from each of the cities and communes of the Basin for a battle, not of blades and magic, but of words. Spreading out across the Basin and into the higher planes and aetherspace, mortals sought to sway the minds of the denizens in Lusternia in their quest to claim the Medallion of Harmony. The challenge quickly saw three mortals rise quickly in their quest for first place: Talan and Tacita of the Glomdoring commune and Inagin of the city of New Celest.

Challenge of War

Avechna called out for the mightiest of warriors to come out and they did, indeed! Gathering upon Mount Avechna, teams were selected and the matches began. First to battle was the team from the Grand Province of Magnagora made up of: Kalas Ixion, Fillin and Munsia D'cente` versus the multi-national team of Malarious, Ethelon a'Ishial and Xena. In the end, it was Ixion's team that stood triumphant.
