2. Required Software

Some software components need to be installed before using this instrument driver. The minimum versions of these components are listed below, and can be downloaded from the

Download Site.

a. NI LabVIEW 7.1.1 or higher

b. NI DAQmx 8.3.1 or higher

Note: VISA has additional software requirements. Check with VISA help for additional support software and hardware requirements.

3. Installation Instructions

Project Folder

Extract and save this folder (containing the LLB file) as a subdirectory within your project folder.

To use the functions, use ‘Select a VI…’ function found under the functions palette window.

LabVIEW

Alternatively, extract and save this folder (containing the LLB file) as a subdirectory of the

\instr.lib\

Within this directory you can find the menu files and VI libraries. The menu files allow you to view the VIs from the Functions palette. The VI libraries contain the VIs.

4. Using the library

The wrapper functions (VI) that found within the LVVILIB_DAQmx_8BP_DIO are adapted from NI LabVIEW’s DAQmx function VIs.

Right-click the Graph indicator > Create > Property Node
Right-click the property node > Properties > X Scale > Scale Fit
You will get XScale.ScaleFit property of the graph.
Set it to 1 (Autoscale Once)
Place it in a case (TRUE) which is executed by a boolean button (your separate Auto-Scale button)

Likewise for Y Scale.

[问题]

当一个主程序调用一个SUBVI，而SUBVI里有几个并行运行的循环，每个循环里有各自的延时。那么，当按停止退出SUBVI时，有时候要等比较长的时间，原因是有的循环在做延时等待。如何在按了停止按钮以后，即时退出所有并行的循环，即这个子VI？

[可能原因]

避免使用 Wait (ms) 函数。原因是，任何较大的延时 i.e. 1000ms 将使每一次循环延迟(至少）1000ms。在这期间，任何触发都无法立即生效。

[可能方案]

使用Tick Count函数能大幅度的减少延时造成的触发延误等等。

Need silhouetted VI icon?

Objective
To create VI Icon that is smaller than the editor's area and appears as its shape (silhouetted) instead of a standard square shape icon.

Solution
1. Double-click on the VI's icon to bring up the Icon Editor as shown below...

2. Select/ click on the 256 Colors icon mode.
3. Draw your icon

Once the icon is drawn and finalised...

Click on the 256 Colors icon mode.
Press [CTRL]+[C] to copy the icon.
Now, select/ click on the 16 Colors icon mode.
Press [CTRL]+[V] to paste the icon.
Then, select/ click on the B & W icon mode.
Press [CTRL]+[V] to paste the icon.

4. OK the Icon editor.
5. Save your VI.

Try It Out!

1. Open a new VI or any caller VI
2. Place above saved VI into its Block Diagram by "Select a VI..."

The VI is now appear in the Bloack Diagram silhouetted as its icon image....
