My Birthday ! (2011)

Time passed real fast, it's 2011 =.= 1 year older again!

When i was a teenager, i'd always thought i wanna be 21 years old ASAP, as i would have the rights to decide for my self in everything.

When i hit the age of 21, i was real happy! Everything was as good as i thought!

Until this year when i hit 22!! I got that "feeling" coming that i'm not as young as i thought already. T_T

I just couldn't accept the fact suddenly, i don't know why!

When i'm out with baby, people ask me of my age and instead of 22, i replied: "Oh, I'm 21" with a guilty smile.... =.=

But it's okay, i'm getting quite us to it.

When i'm 14, people thought i'm 25, when i'm 15,16,17,18,19,20,21, people still thought i'm 25.

But this year, it's different, i'm 22 but some people ok (minority, maybe 1 person) says i'm 21 years old!

Wahahahhahaha. I look younger as years passed~!

This year, I celebrated my birthday with my beloved friends & families.

They are the ones who are always there for me every year!!

I'm so lucky to have them. It's wise to have many friends but only good to have 1-2 good friends!

Went to Suntec for Duck Tour & Dinner @ Carlton Hotel with Baby! Had a couple of Birthday Surprises from him! Love him so much!!

Due to all Singaporeans hectic lifes, it's always good to let yourself slow down sometimes to look at how Beautiful Singapore has become! View from the river is really nice, everywhere around me is just so beautiful.

Here are all the gifts i'd gotten this year even i never had a party to celebrate my 22nd Birthday. I'm touched.

I need to thank Xiao Hei & Jenive(now Jingle) for the Dinner treat at Crystal Jade too!! I love ya'all!

I came across this show on Channel 8 TV and i hope i could share this with everyone.

Sometimes we'll always think that the world is unfair to us, why is it that everyone can have whatever they want, but not me.

Always complaining and complaining, is this the only thing we can do? Does this makes us feel any better?

After i came across this show, I realize that i'm already lucky. I have friends and families that love, care and dote on me, and that i realize, there are more things we could do other than complaining saying how unfair the world is.

This Granny really enlighten me alot.

She confronts grudges with generosity.

Feeling of discontent or hatred is all in the mind, just have to learn how to let go.

One needs even courage to let go of one's mental baggage, He who knows how to do it is the real gallant man.

I really hope everyone will just spend 47 minutes to watch this meaningful show.

Whatever we, humans, are doing, I believe the God in heaven is watching.

So to my dear friend out there, don't be affected by any action or words.

There might be Karma & there might not be. Depending on if you're a believer or not.

So just live your life to the fullest, like I do!!

Smile or frown, it's still another day. So why not SMILE and live the day? ^_^

I believe I've changed a lot. I used to be very aggressive & impulsive.

I'm not saying I'm totally passive now, just that I use my aggravation in my work!

Which is a more productive way, as compared to just letting out one's frustration.

A bad point can be use as a good point too!

So just use it correctly.

As for impulsiveness, I believe I'd reduced the level down by 80%.

As I understand that neither violence nor confrontation would solve any problem.

Not to mention, calling people names or slandering them in public.

So be calm! When there's a will, there WILL be a way ^__^

Cooking Day

After the day my granny ask me to cook, i'm suddenly in love with cooking!!

But my dad always restrict us to cook at home. Needless to say, we are also not allowed to do housework!

So i thought, maybe i could borrow Don's kitchen to try out my cooking skills...

I always wanted to cook but no one gives me a chance after they hear that, "I fry eggs WITHOUT OIL".

Okay, I admit, that's true, but it was my first attempt!

I always wanted to try after that but other than not having a kitchen to cook, i did offer to cook for people but got rejected!!

One of the case was:

Don's Dad:   I feel like eating the tomato w/egg that Mum cook.
Lynn: Uncle, I cook for you la! Egg & Tomato very easy de la!!
Don's Dad: Ok!
Don:            Dad, you sure or not? she never cook before....
Don's Dad: Errr... Then don't want la.....
Lynn: =.= Fine!
Don:            Hahahahaha, even a sick patient also don't dare to try your cooking!

I suffered blows after blows! AHHH!!! Even his dad don't want me to cook for him!!

So i thought maybe i'm not cut out for cooking and i rested my thoughts to cook.

Until one day when i was at my Aunt's place to see my Granny as she was sick and couldn't cook.

My Granny ask me to cook in her kitchen!! I was reluctant in the first place but i thought, since i got a place to cook already then i should try!! And the food tested nice!! My granny & my cousin love it alot, i love it alot too!! I was so proud of myself !!

I told Don about it and he said that i have to cook for him as he wanna try if it's really that tasty!

So back to the story, yea, i borrowed Don's kitchen and whipped up 2 dishes 1 soup.

No online research on the ingredients or whatsoever!! All base on my sense!

You can see from the pictures that the sides of the potato & steam egg was already eaten even before i got the chance to take pictures.... Don's mum & dad ate them!! They say it's VERY TASTY & DELICIOUS!!

I'm so happy & so proud of myself that i'm able to whipped up such delicious food!

Halloween @ Night Safari

Off to Night Safari today with Baby & his family for the Halloween Event. I'd never in my 21 years life been to Night Safari. That's why once Baby's Sis ask us if we wanna go, I said YES! immediately.

That night was Singapore warmest night @ 34 degree Celsius!

The ticket price for a person is $45... Includes a extended tram ride round night safari. Still expensive!!

The "GHOST" weren't that scary. I love all their make-up! It just look so real!!


This "Di ya Pek" did freak me out a little. Didn't see "Tua Ya Pek" thou.

So i'm here to do a review on Blue Mountain Cafe @ Iluma since it's the 2nd most searched that would get people to my blog.

Basically BMC (Blue Mountain Cafe) is a cafe opened by my uncle jointly with some other shareholders. They started business since 28th June 2009. The concept of the place is almost similar to starbucks or coffeebean but definitely of better class. They not only focus on coffee but also on food & desserts.

I love the onion soup, spaghetti meatballs, the fish chips & the dessert alot!

You will be able to find Blue Mountain Cafe at 313 @ Somerset or Iluma.

The most recommended coffee served there is of cause the blue mountain coffee. I started to drink the coffee since 11 years old. Till now my granny will still brew it for us & we love it alot!

It's a little pricey for a small glass of blue mountain coffee @ BMC but definitely worth it!

Ladies, your handphones can apparently help you in more ways than one. A noted Japanese researcher (Dr. Hideto Tomabechi) claims to have discovered that a handphone ring tone can increase the size of a woman's breasts!!

Recently i came across a show on DISCOVERY CHANNEL, a really crazy one that really make me and lots of people wonder if this is for real.

It actually says that this japan musician scientist invented a ringing tone, known as ROCK. MELON, which would affects female brain and triggers a increase in bust line!!

Within the ring tone is an embedded sound which imitates the cry of an infant that would open your brain channel which apparently causes the mind to unconsciously switch to motherhood mode, and in turn makes the chest fill with milk.

It's a 30 seconds ring tone and that you'll have to listen to it 20 times a day for 10 days before it works.

It was tested on a girl & her bust line increase in 3cm.

I think this show should have be casted in RIPLEY"S BELIEVE IT OR NOT rather than discovery channel... LOL

If this works than who would still go for implants??!!

I'm not gonna try this, infants crying always freaks me out and i'm satisfied with what i have. So please leave me out!

My Nightmare

I had a bad nightmare today. I dreamt that Don & I went in to an old abandoned school. While we were in there, I got kinda freak out cause i start to see losta dead students sitting in their class doing revision, they look just like human but dam pale. I got so scare and i pulled Don & start running down the stairs as he couldn’t see them at all.

I told Don that we’ll have to find the Exit now & get our asses outta this place now & soon enough we saw a exit sign and headed towards it.

There’s a big emergency exit, i opened the door & got out of the building to the school’s backyard but Don was still inside. He said he saw a boy running across & he gave chase, that’s when i jumped in to the building & start giving chase as well.

We ran through the school’s assembly area & to the back stage. The backstage is real freaky that i really don’t know how to describe, it’s like there are lots of aluminium planks that forms a maze and we were frantically chasing after the boy non-stop.

And once we reached a exit stairs we saw the horror of our life, we were being stopped by 2 Demons, i clearly remember that the girl demon looks like Don’s ex-wife & the guy has a very strong build body as he was wearing a singlet.

We were being pulled away to a room and they locked us in there. Till now we haven’t find the little boy. Until a while later, the little boy was being brought in to join us as well. We were not being tied up, just got locked up in the room.

We start cracking our brains & discuss how we could get out of this place. The boy said, he used to study in this school & was the only survivor when the school was being attacked by the Demons & till now he still couldn’t get out of the school. But he said, he always sees his dead brother & he’ll try to speak to him & get us all out of this place.

The next day, we saw a guy walking in to our room & the little boy called out “Kor” (which means elder-brother in Chinese. But shortly after, the 2 demons came in & brought me & Don out of the place, so i quickly whisper to the little boy and tell him that if he happens to get out of the place, we’ll be waiting at a Chinese Temple. The little boy’s brother said to the Demons that, it’s too dangerous to keep us here and so, Don & I got brought out of the school by the demons.

They say we’ll definitely be able to escape from the school so they are gonna hide us somewhere else & tie us up back to back. During the journey out, we saw losta Chinese Temples but got no idea where we were. Suddenly the car stops and the demons say they wanted go buy something & brought us along. We were then in a food court waiting for the demon to take turns to go buy their things.

When the female demon came back, she started screaming & shouting at Don saying he’s stupid, dumb, blah blah blah... I couldn’t stand it anymore so i shouted at her & start scolding her as well. Then she shut up totally. When the male demon is back, he ask the female demon to join him to somewhere else, i think he clearly forgotten that we’re there.

They left us alone & we were dumb enough to wait for them to be back =.= After awhile then i realise it, so i told Don, “Hey baby, aren’t we stupid? Why are we sitting here to wait for them to come back!! Let’s run!!” Once we got out of the food court, we start to find a Chinese Temple, but Don was fascinated by a Bar that he saw online previously & dragged me in.

I got woke up after that =.=

I still wonder who the little boy is. Is he with the demon or is he being held by his brother. *Scratch head*

I don’t know why i’m always having nightmares & mostly those nightmares’ location are schools.

Taiwan's Theme Park

Haha. We got free tickets from Don's company to Leo Foo Village... So happy. I love to visit Theme Parks of different countries. I'd been to Australia's, Malaysia's, HongKong's & Taiwan! I can't rmb if i'd visited China's Theme Park or do they even have one in Jiu Zai Gou or Chen Du. Ahh nevermind about it. Hope to visit Korea & Japan's Theme Park in the future.

Jiu Fen & Bi Sha Yu Gang

Outing with Don's colleague to Jiu Fen ( 9 portions) & Bi Sha Yu Gang (Bi Sha Fishing Port) . Jiu Fen is said to have one of Taiwan's nicest scenery. Been out under the sun for so many days, was hoping i won't get tanned. Once we'd reach the place, Don helped me apply sunblock on my arms & legs, so paiseh cause all his colleagues are looking.

We drove all the way up & walk for like 30 mins under the hot sun for this view

Bi Sha Fishing Port comprises two rectangular buildings, which namely are the "fish market" and "food court." There are dozens of stores selling live & fresh seafood here in the market. Visitors can ask the restaurants in the food court to cook the seafood they have bought from the market or order the dishes served by the restaurants.

Kenting!!

Haha, i went to Kenting and it was a fun & romantic trip. Don's manager, Carter & his wife drove us there & Don's colleague, Adair & Lucy are meeting us there. From Lungtan Taiwan to Kenting Taiwan is kinda far... Approximately 5-6 hours drive. We went to HsinChu to meet Carter & his family for breakfast before we set off.

Yo! Hehe... I'm back in Taiwan!! Another month of vacation here. Enjoying my life to the max! ^_^

I'd been out to Don's company dinner held at one of the restaurant in Zhongli, and the place is named Xia-Ping but they did a direct translation to english and ended up with "shopping". So cute.

It's a restaurant that only serves Prawn dishes cooked in different styles, really had enough of prawns that day

Will no longer have cravings for prawns for years from now i guess =.=

At the weekend, we actually intend to go to Nan Liao which is said to have the best scenery in the whole Taiwan, but the Koreans' chinese tutor (Joanne) says there's a beach nearby which is worth visiting as well, so we went Taoyuan Yong An instead.

There're lots of food there which you would see in night markets as well as small restaurants that serves the freshest seafood.

We went cycling and to view the beautiful sunset too!

Haha end of this post... I'm going to Kenting this coming weekend!! woohoo!! Stay tuned! ^_^

All about church!

I'd always been a active church go-er Since Primary 3 & i praise God alot when i was young.
I'm always Praising Lord & introducing to all my friends & relatives the greatness of God till they are so pissed of with me.
But for those people whom used to criticize me cause i praise Lord ARE now CHRISTIANS.
Yea, my aunts & a primary school friend name Li Khim. My aunts' kids are now such devoted christians! LOL

I left church when i was Secondary 2 & i believe i'd made the right decision.
Hypocrites, social networkers, liars or even people who goes to church just to know more girls.

The church i went to was just under my block, a bombshelter. Initially it was a child-care centre then developed into a worship place. Saves the rental, Multi purpose, gives the founder a chance to start getting donations to set-up a church. blahblah...

And YES! INDEED! They've gotten enough donations to set up a church Sitting on a big plot of land in SengKang! Now i wonder, if anything goes wrong to the church that it has to close down, are all the worshippers entitled to their bits of shares? Of coz, NOT... And most probably they won't be short of funds, cause they's so many brainless humans out they donating money every Sunday.

If there're access funds, is the organization allowed to invest in developments, shares or business? Are pastors being paid? Are the counsellors or whatever being paid? Of cause they are, but they don't call it salary, it's being named as allowance.
They're so many pastors out there that are rich & even riding harley davidson.
Ain't church's fund suppose to be used in helping needies as in not just 20% but rather 100%? If these people really did use the funds to help the needies, then we won't see so many kids suffering in Africa already isn't it?!! There're so many churches out there!!

Now we see City Harvest. I knew this guy will definately get into trouble as he used $310m to joint venture with Suntec City.
Dr Kong said. ‘This is a prime location with 78 years left in its lease. Right now we’re paying $310 million, but how much is it going to be worth 30 years from now? I have to be a good steward…to maximise every dollar our members have given,’
If there's any profits then where will the profits go to? Only 20% of annual budget to needy then what about the rest of the 80%? If they save the money & not rent any place (worship on a field la) then there won't be people dying from hunger already!
I thought God taught them to be grateful & not greedy? Shouldn't they just be satisfied with what they have? Or even be grateful that they've already gotten a place to worship?
Does that mean everyone can open a church & ask for donations & buy over watever developments & claim allowances to enjoy luxury? I can do that too then! Just rent a place & get some people in to preach... blahblahblah... I wonder where does all the donations from worshippers go to. To pay the preachers a lump sum of salary + buying plot of land to develop 'church'?

I pray that the annual dividends is not enough to cover the Suntec Convention Hall rental.

PRAISE MY BUDDHA! At least buddha didn't ask me to give 'him/her' 10% of my income.

Wu Fen Pu Taiwan (Wholesale Market)

So happy today.... Went out to Wu Fen Pu for shopping... I'll really have to say, outta so many places for shopping, i really prefer this Wu Fen Pu.

It's a very big place and all of the shops sells clothes!!! And the main point is that they are all freaking cheap!!

Here's the things i bought there!!

This luggage and this black dress...Initially the luggage was selling at 1780NTD but i manage to bargain it down to 1400NTD.... wahahha... It's like $61SGD for a medium sized luggage.... So mad happy!!

As for the black dress, the material is like freaking good, it's lace type... It cost me 300NTD ($13) for 2... So i purchase a black and a white one....

This is the white dress.... I haven't been wearing a dress for like 7 years already... LOLLLLLLLLLLLLL

Love this Jumpers the most... I'd been searching for a nice jumpers for like a year or so already... Finally got it in the night market.... Mad happy today!! This cost 400NTD ($17.60). Slightly expensive if compared but it's worth it!!!!!!
P.S. I took nothing outta my pocket.. All paid for by Don... Mwahhh... Thanks Baby!!!!

Wahaha... My first weekend in Taipei and i'm going to XIMENDING!! woohuuu!! A place filled will food & retail shops. Almost similar concept like Bugis Street. Just that you don't have to cramp with human traffics even though there's losta people as the place is quite big....

You guys must be pondering like, "Hey, don't you have to work? How is it possible for you to leave for 1 month?" Yea, i'd tender my resignation last January but left only after March.

I'm so glad that my boss is supportive of me when i said i wanna achieve my goal in life and i have to leave if not i can never achieve it. And he promise to guide me and help me.
There're times that he's nice, there's time he's a devil. There's once nearly i threw a chair at him.
Before i started working for him, i was working in nightlife for 6 years. So i'm used to only waking up in the noon time which makes it quite tough for me to wake up early for work.
But after sometime, he couldn't stand me anymore, coz i'm always late, not for minutes but for HOURS.
So we came to a conclusion that it'll benefit the company, me & him if i work from home.
And Tada!! that's how i can work from home ^_^ So nice isn't it =p

I'm going to start my new career soon. Been waiting for the results. It takes 4-5 weeks to know the results so i'm enjoying myself while waiting! ^_^

The results are here already, but i fail 1 of the papers cause i didn't study that. BOOOOOOOOO
It's not easy at all lo... I'm not stupid or dumb. Just that i know nuts about law & tort previously.
But i'm so glad i passed that! And i study for only 2 weeks! Will show you how thick is that dam file filled with tiny words once i get it back from my neighbor.

1st day of arrival in Taiwan.. Got a personal Chauffeur... Great and nice start!

I'm so happy on the first day of arrival, not because i'm free from work! It's because i'll be able to eat all the great food in Taiwan!! Shopping doesn't really interest me...

One thing that i felt most happy about is that Don actually prepared all the daily necessities for me already!

I'm very particular about my daily necessities...And i'm so glad that he got all right!

Yea, cotton pads for make up removal, wet tissue, toothbrush... All in Pink! wahaha

Lux whitening shower foam, Essential Shampoo, Pantene Hair Conditioner.. ^_^

I was sick after a few days... Thanks to the idiot who was seating beside me on the flight. So inconsiderate...

He doesn't cover his mouth while coughing and he coughs non-stop throughout the whole 4.5 hours journey of flight. And here's all the pills i'll have to take everyday. I HATE SWALLOWING PILLS!!

Went to a cafe at Taoyuan Lungtan's hilltop... Simply love that place. You gotta visit that place if you were to ever step in to Taiwan. It's called 七分醉 (7 levels drunk)

Nice weather, nice scenery, nice food.... There's live singing there too, but i don't really enjoy listening to their voices LOL =p opps...

My dad does house chores for us since young even till now cause she loves my mum & us and he doesn't expect anything in return!. A couple do things out of love in the house and not expecting something in return. If everything you do for someone and you expect something in return then might as well you don't do it. IT IS NOT A DUTY FOR MAN TO PROVIDE, But if the man is willing to provide then of course it's good.

And if you're talking about a kid, i admit i don't have a kid and i won't understand how difficult it would be to look after a kid. I grew up eating take away meals everyday since young, I used to study in PAP, i don't undergo any enrichment classes, that doesn't mean i'm stupid or less loved by my parents. It still very much depends on individual. You can put your kid in a very good school doesn't mean your kid will be able to do any better than others. You mentioned that "You can raise a kid at a very low expenses if you don't love them."
Which parents don't love their kid? Which parents don't wanna give their kid the best? Raising your kid at low expense doesn't mean you don't love your kid, you're really hopeless to make such comments, do you even have any brains? You try saying that in a forum and see how many people will flame you for this.

Having a car to give your kid a better life is just a excuse for luxury and convenience but is not necessary that when you have a family means you'll need to have a car. If a car means everything, i would have been married off to a man 6 years back when he proposed to me with a Merc SLK.
Does your parents drive you everywhere when you were young? Are you still alive till now? Does that make you any retard?

For family that doesn't owns a car doesn't mean they are not giving their kid the best, they are still teaching their kid something. Like they can be freaking rich like my ex-boss but doesn't owns a car cause of global warming or they can be too poor to afford a car that teaches the kid to be independent.
I don't wear new clothes when i was young, i wore clothes that was being given to me. I learn to be appreciative that at least i still have got clothes to wear, not like those kids in some country where they don't even have any clothes to wear.

All of this taught me how to be appreciative, independent, contented with things i have now and strive hard on my own to have things that i want to have. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man how to fish and you feed him for lifetime.

Which parents doesn't want to give their kid the best? But lets be practical. Even if you want to doesn't mean you can. But you can give them the best in other ways not just material stuffs or luxury lifestyle. Cheers.

Chinese New Year Big Commotion

I haven't been updating my blog for sometime cause I was busy in love. Sorry peeps. ^_^
Gonna start from the most unforgettable Chinese New Year I have ever had. ^_^

As you guys know I got engaged after 3 weeks into the relationship, I know alot of pple are worried for me but don't worry, he's a nice guy till now and yes I'm happy now. ^_^

So on the 3rd day of CNY, i went to my fiance's place for family dinner,
Slightly awhile after dinner, a mad auntie-liked girl came up to his place to make a scene, I was in the room & they were all out in the living room talking to her.
I though what was happening cause the girl went crazy throwing things around, screaming & scolding my fiance's mum. Why would there be such a person that doesn't shows respect to the elderly. Maybe there's something wrong with her up-bringing or because she's just who she is.

She slammed the gates and kept crying non-stop. I do pity and feel sad for her very much. That's when i have found out that she's my fiance ex-wife.

But what's wrong with me going up to pay a visit to my fiance's parents? Nothing's wrong right? It's not like as if she owns the whole flat, half of the house belongs to my fiance. And she bloody didn't once pay for the bills, renovation cost! Only monthly contribution around $100 thru CPF. Why make such a big fuss =.= While we were all seating in the living room chatting she came back over to the house again but this time round she brought her mum along =.= Then started crying and screaming again like a mad woman and threaten to suicide AGAIN =.=

Yes, she gave me the impression that she is not being loved now. I really don't understand why she likes to make a big hoohaa out of small matters =.=

First she threaten to commit suicide if my fiance don't give her the sole custody of the kid then now is this =.=
It's not like my fiance don't pay her a single cent, a kid won't need so much allowance. He still gotta send her $1.4k every month tilll the kid is in primary school then raise to $1.6k, then secondary school $1.8k and eventually $2k at tiertiary. Eventhough she cheated on him with GOD KNOWS HOW MANY MEN.
(P.S. This is not based on no evidence accusation. Remember Darren and the plastic surgeon? ^_^ )

Just that morning, my fiance transferred $8k into her bank account and she came screaming that she still gotta BORROW MONEY from people to come back to SG from Dubai JUST to let him see her. But she was telling everyone that she's back for Chinese New Year.
But she didn't even allow him to bring the kid out. Only to let him see for a few hours in the kid's bday party and it's not like a 1 to 1 thingy lo.

All the while i've been asking my fiance about him and his ex-wife, like why they got divorced and stuffs. I'm very neutral about all this stuffs and chose to listen and see from both parties. YES, i admit i do have my doubts about what he said previously about his marriage before and the reason for divorce, untill i met his ex-wife. I'm so much sure that he indeed lived in a misery. I'm sure he's always being bullied =.=

One thing i'm really pissed off is that she says they can't take care of the kid as much as she could. But the way she reacts is really obvious that she's suffering from depression, how can she look after her kid if she's suffering from depression and always threaten to suicide? Or is it that she really loves to act to much.

Oh ya, i'm glad you didn't cherish this man, you dump him and treated him so badly & look down on him just because he's not rich. How materialistic are you.

Baby went for Tattoo

My fiance insisted that he wanna have a tattoo of my name on him before he fly off to Taiwan.
So when he flew back last week i brought him to my tattoo artist to get the tattoo done as he's so persistent to get a tattoo of my name on his body. =.=
It's not that i didn't stop him, i did! And i told him it's forever! He can have something else tattoo-ed on him rather than my name. But i guess i failed.....

JB trip by public transport

Went in to JB with Jenive by taking public transport, it didn't seem as bad as i thought, maybe becoz there wasn't a jam =x When we reach citysquare, the mall was closed! 22 Jan 2010 the mall stop operation just because a SULTAN DIED.... Dam it.... Sultan die then die lo, why close the mall =.= Took a cab to Terbua City, don't know if i spelled it correctly... We went for some food followed by shopping .

The food is sooooooooooooooooo dam nice & their servie is really TIP TOP! Better than any high class restuarant in Singapore 5 stars Hotel! When i finish my drink, the waiter bring up a glass of ice water for me without me asking him to do so! Even ask for feedbacks. They're smiles don't leave their faces, it just makes my day! I forgotten the name of the restuarant. But they have got one in Singapore, i'll be their regular customer for sure!
