Phew, I've been busy! Two new print editions and two new oil paintings. I'm really pleased with the lino prints which make a great pair. Scarborough and Whitby are two seaside towns on the East Coast, Yorkshire, UK. An experiment in both subject, colour and execution. Fiery and graduated colours with bold shapes create a dramatic sunset. This modest linocut block print shouts louder than it's size would suggest. It is this printmaker's first experiment with the subject of 'sunsets' and the red, orange, purple and black-blue colours depart entirely from her usual pallette of blues and greens.
