Blueberry Facial Masque for Healthier Skin

Mother's Day was just a few days ago so my cousin and I decided to give our moms a special spa day for them to unwind and relax. I took them to none other than the fabulous Eména Spa in the Miami Design District. Both my aunt and my mom absolutely loved their deep tissues massage from massage therapist, Marcy Pritzer. I of course, had to join in on this spa day myself as I enjoyed one of the best facials ever by Esthetician, Mindy Kim.

I had a custom organic facial designed for my skin’s special needs. When I use to work the door at the nightclubs, I use to wear tons and tons of make up which always clogged up my pores. Especially with all that smoke in the club, my skin was just terrible. Until I finally switched over to Neutrogena makeup and cleanser products was when my skin finally cleared up. Mindy explained to me that when I do wear makeup to always exfoliate and scrub after to clean up all that dirt. As well as monthly facials and weekly microdermabrasion treatments to keep my skin clear of acne.

The products used were all from Eminence Organic Skincare with one being the Clear Skin Probiotic Masque. This masque feels cooling on the skin as it nourishes uneven skin tones. It improves the appearance as it cleans and softens skin. She also used the Blueberry Detox Firming Peel that smelled fruitfully delicious! I definitely felt a tingly feeling as it tightened my pores.

Mindy recommended to go home and relax after the facial, but since I already had plans to eat she applied a powdered mineral sunscreen. The tinted sunscreen can be used as makeup powder instead of foundation, for little coverage and sun block. I never leave the house without makeup, but I felt so clean and beautiful after my facial, I rocked a natural face throughout the day. Check out more photos and the details of my outfit below!

Rap artist French Montana rocked a New York Yankees jacket with snake print sleeves on set of his video shoot. The classic jersey jacket has a lil twist to it as Born in Skin designer added gold 100% genuine python sleeves. What She Wore: Denyce Lawton's Peace Sign Logo Tank

First and foremost it was a pleasure to meet the beautiful Denyce Lawton and celebrate her birthday with her alongside Darrin Henson at Club Play on South Beach. She is such a sweetheart and very down to earth, and her fashion is on point. She wore a black and white outfit with a hint of red on her lips for her birthday party in Miami.

The black tank top features a white peace sign in which she purchased at a local mall. It is also available at The Butik Online for $28. She paired the low scoop tank with a white tuxedo outfit from Zara and black strappy/caged Gucci heels. A cute and simple outfit idea for all of you ladies to try out!

Here we have the lovely Rihanna rocking a Mary Katrantzou Butterfly Print Shirt and Tom Ford Beige Strappy Gladiator Sandal Boots. I love how she can incorporate high fashion pieces into her everyday wardrobe. Not a lot of people can pull this off but RiRi sure can! Theta what? Theta Nu! Yes ladies, this week's Eye Candy is actor Brian White from one of my favorite movies, Stomp The Yard. Brian attended Dartmouth College where he studied Political Science, Psychology and Theater Arts. I bet you didn't know he was a former NFL player for New England Patriots. Unfortunately, he was injured and his life took on a different direction which introduced him to modeling and theater.

One of the first acting gigs Brian landed was on TV hit show "Moesha" (wait, ain't that Ray J's sister?). Since then he has starred in films such as The Game Plan, The Family Stone, and his most recent stage-play 'What My Husband Doesn't Know'. Which was definitely drama for your momma!

Furthermore, Mr. White loves the kids (in my Trick Daddy voice) as he created a youth development program called Black Carpenter that urges young people to "build their future." So he is talented, has a good heart, very handsome.. you must be asking yourself is he available?! Sorry ladies, there is a Mrs. White. Summary: Oh You Fancy, Huh? Nails done, hair done, everything did. This is a pretty simple outfit with a destroyed effect. I am not a big t-shirt person which is why I like to alter them and make them my style. The black t-shirt with the "Fancy" text printed is from one of the upcoming designers I have previously featured: Fancy Clothing. If you have an old t-shirt laying around, recycle it and create something new!

Isn't it cute when celebrities support their celebrity friends?! Here is Reality TV Star, La La Anthony rocking a teal and gold sundress from the Kardashian Kollection. Lucky for us bargain shoppers the dress is only $35 which is pretty affordable! Don't you just just love it when the stars wear budget friendly clothing!?

Now on to the details.. the chain print dress has a breezy skirt that is perfect for the summer. It features an asymmetrical back and straps and an empire waist. The fact that it is mini length and synched at the waist will leave any woman feeling confident as it enhances her curves. Fellas, if you do not have a chambray shirt in your closet you need to get one asap! This blouse is so versatile and can be worn pretty much during any season. It all depends on how you style it. You can keep it casual, or dress it up and add colors or stay neutral. Take this fashion item and incorporate into your personal wardrobe. Check out a few ways I have come up with for men to style a chambray blouse.

Chambray & Khakis

Let's start off with a casual and simple outfit for the guys that tend to stick to basics. Pair the chambray blouse with khaki pants and add in another color like brown or caramel for your belt and sneakers. Now if you are one to accessorize, try topping the outfit with a brown fedora. And Tada! The perfect outfit for Spring or Summer.

Now let's take it to the next level by layering your chambray shirt. You can always experiment with different colors, but I chose a grey cardigan since majority of men are scared of bright colors. Then I paired the jean blouse with black jeans and black sneakers. You can leave your outfit like this or add some style by accessorizing with black reading glasses. This outfit will go well for those that are still live in the cool weather.

Color Your Chambray

This outfit is my fav out of all the three just because it is different and bold. Not a lot of men will be able to pull off adding bright colors to their wardrobe, but for those that know how to, this outfit is for you! You don't always have to button up the chambray blouse to the very top, you can leave some or all buttons unclosed to show your undershirt. In this case, I chose a black and white striped tank then paired it with yellow jeans. The classic black and white converse sneakers go well this outfit and to top it all off a red snap-back.

Over 200 people came through the event hosted at The Archives, 1304 east Las Olas Blvd. From the open bar to the the Live DJ, it was a night for friends to get together and check out the newest designs and snapback hats presented by the boys at Bubucheek. Austin Wasserman and Richard Giannotti, 2 of the 3 founders, hosted this party as they continue to create a stronger presence in the South Florida area. Bubucheek has quietly created a dynamic and loyal following, doubling the amount of party goers in only a few months since the last event in December.

Beauty & Skincare Regimen for a Beautiful Inside & Out Look ft. Neutrogena

Check out my skincare regimen for Neutrogena's Beautiful Inside and Out campaign. As you have seen in my previous makeup tutorials I am pretty much loyal to Neutrogena products. Being that my skin is a combination of oily and dry, I have notice when I switched to this brand I no longer have acne break outs. When I wear Neutrogena's foundation and powder, I feel refreshed versus feeling oily and sticky. The makeup is lightweight and does not clog up my pores which is why I love it!

Step 1: Cleansing In One Easy Step: To begin the skincare regimen I used the Makeup Remover Cleaning Towelettes to remove any dirt, oil and makeup I already had on. This makeup remover even removes water proof mascara in which not a lot of other towelettes are capable of doing. Then I used the Oil-Free Pink Grapefruit Cleansing Wipes to cleanse out my skin. The best thing about these is not only do they smell amazing but it is not necessary to rinse after you have used them since they don't leave any greasy residue behind.

Step 2: Moisturize After Cleansing: Even if you are not going to the beach it is important to apply sunscreen daily. The Ultra Sheer is lightweight and does not leave an oily finish.

Step 3: Shine Free Base Makeup: Next, add Shine Control Primer as a base for your makeup to last longer. Followed by Shine Control Makeup which is perfect for a natural looking coverage. This foundation does not leave your skin feeling oily and is said to last about 8 hours. Lastly, set your foundation with Shine Control Powder.

Step 4: Long-Lasting Eye Makeup: Creamy shadows always work best as a base since they are super long-lasting. This Crease Proof Eye Shadow comes in different pearly pigments and will instantly revive and brighten your eyes. Now you can make your eyes pop even more with the Healthy Lengths Mascara. In the video you can see the before and after, in which it really does make my lashes look 100% longer!

Step 5: Conditioning Lip Color: Lastly, the lips! The MoistureSmooth Color Stick improves the texture of your lips so they feel extra soft and smooth over time. This balm also has a bit of sheer shine and is said to last for hours.

8&9 Clothing's "The Showroom" Opening Hosted By Wu-Tang's Raekwon

Streetwear company 8&9 Clothing celebrated the opening of "The Showroom" with a meet and greet with the legendary Wu-Tang member Raekwon. The event was sponsored by Remy V and had surprise celebrity appearances by Supa Cindy of 99 Jamz, DJ Sam Sneak of Maybach Music Group, Frank Gore of the San Franciso 49ers ,rap artist Young Scooter, South Florida artist Iceberg, YMCMB artist Corey Gunz and much more.

The new space is 2800 square feet and includes a boutique showroom, offices, photography studio and warehouse with a private gated lot. 8&9 is a Miami based independent streetwear company. Founder and creative director Ray Guilbault says the showroom theme is old fashion American hard work, "that's how we built our brand so it was important to incorporate significant elements when designing our office/showroom." Fixtures constructed of iron pipe and early 1900's reclaimed wood are complimented by a 40 foot distressed flag mural and raw concrete floors. The gated lot enhances the private experience of the typically appointment only showroom boutique which will open to the public only for special events.

Maytee Martinez Showcases Adoro Swimwear Line at Souz Nightclub in Miami

This past Thursday, DTMG presented a fashion show by International Model, Maytee Martinez as she showcased her swimwear line, Adoro, at the newest and most exclusive nightclub on South Beach, Souz Lounge. Her swimwear line is all about the details as it features studs, animal print, and fringe pieces.

Some of Miami's hottest models including Metisha, Apryl Thornton, Melanie Tillbrook, Paola Garcia, Jessica Cribbon, Nicky Wahnon, Christina Hammoud and more were gracing the runway with their beauty as they rocked some hot swimwear! Not only was Maytee hosting the event, but celebrating her birthday as well. Happy Birthday pretty girl!!
