I love film cameras – how unreal are these colors?

The Pentax K1000 is an almost all metal, mechanically (springs, gears, levers) controlled, manual-focus SLR with manual exposure control. It was completely operable without batteries. It only needed batteries (one A76 or S76, or LR44 or SR44) for the light metering information system. This consisted of a center-the-needle exposure control system using a galvanometer needle pointer moving between vertically arranged +/– over/underexposure markers at the right side of the viewfinder to indicate the readings of the built-in full-scene averaging, cadmium sulfide (CdS) light meter versus the actual camera settings. The meter did not have a true on/off switch and the lens cap needed to be kept on the lens to prevent draining the battery when the K1000 was not in use.

Veronica Henry

Two tracks recorded by Veronica Henry in the 1980's have been released by M4tr Productions and will be available for download from all major Internet stores. "Fallen Angel" and "Memories" were recorded on domestic analogue recording equipment and give a unique glimpse into a very creative mind.

Veronica Henry is better known as an author and TV script writer, with her work available all over the world. Here is her brief biog:

Veronica Henry was asked to leave the Royal School for Daughters of Officers of the Army. She was then asked to leave the University of Bristol, where she was studying Classics, because she was spending too much time running a post-punk nightclub to do her conjugations. Happily, she wasn't asked to leave the BBC when she secured a job on The Archers, where her duties ranged from organising Shula Archer's wedding photographs with Patrick Lichfield to playing Peaches the barmaid in the Cat and Fiddle.

From there she went to Central Television to script-edit such broadcasting legends as Crossroads and Boon. She then left and became a scriptwriter, writing hundreds of hours of broadcast television for Heartbeat, Doctors, Family Affairs and Holby amongst others. In 2000, she turned her hand to novels, using her story-lining skills to write compelling, multi-protagonist fiction.
