Ride the Bus to Brewers Home Games!

Baseball fans can get on board the best ride to Miller Park and avoid traffic and parking hassles. MCTS buses serve all Milwaukee Brewers home games. Catch a Rt. 90 (Miller Park) bus along Wisconsin Avenue and travel directly to the MCTS transit area at Miller Park starting with the season home opener.

Already this year, 106,314 passengers boarded a Milwaukee County Transit System (MCTS) bus with their bike. This is an increase of 55 percent over last year from January to September!

We are proud that our bus drivers provide safe and courteous transportation every day of the year. It is time that we recognize the efforts that are made, especially when someone goes above and beyond.

The following are bus drivers who were spotted doing an excellent job of customer service. It might have been something simple, like giving good directions to a new rider or something extraordinary like, quickly reporting a traffic accident they just witnessed so emergency responders could assist. Each day we receive commendations from MCTS customers, recognizing our drivers for going that extra mile.

The following bus operators are among those who have received the MCTS Operator’s Award of Excellent Customer Service. Maybe one of them you already know and they provided you with excellent transportation! 		Dathy A Dathy was instrumental in locating an autistic female. The individual, who had boarded the bus she was driving earlier that morning, was reported missing for most of the day. With Dathy’s assistance, Brookfield Police were able to locate her and return her safely to her family. Thanks again for your cooperation and keep up the great work!

		Jeannie A regular customer reported that Jeannie is the most joyous and wonderful person. She is always in a good mood and when tired passengers board her bus, she brightens their day immediately. She watches and waits for the regular customers to ensure that they make their connection. On February 25, the customer saw another passenger who had to make a bus connection so Jeannie, once again, made a point to get her there on time to ensure she made her connection. Thank you Jeannie, keep up the great work!

		Sandra The customer reported that Sandra was stuck in heavy traffic on I-94. She first called dispatch and asked about any accidents but it turned out that the backups were most likely due to a construction project. Fortunately, Sandra did a great thing and ended up exiting the expressway and took I-794 over the Hoan Bridge. The customer was very happy about that because he got to work on time. Thanks for your concern and quick actions, Sandra!

How to Commend Your MCTS Operator

Each month, the Milwaukee County Transit System receives dozens of messages from riders who appreciate their bus driver. Customer service is important, so we want to recognize drivers who go above and beyond. Maybe you had a nice experience with an MCTS bus operator which you think the company should know about?

Whether its holding the bus for a late customer, giving directions to an unfamiliar place or providing extra assistance to a passenger in need, you can report such positive actions to our Customer Service Department. Commendations will go on the employees record and they will be eligible for a customer service award.
