How else can I use MDD to promote / market my MPC?

Printing Options

Currently, there are three separate choices for printing the package tag and package slip that are created when you enter in a package.

1. “Default, one tag plus one slip per box”

This option prints one package tag and then one package slip for each package entered into the system. It is the default choice in the one predominately used.

2. “One tag plus a full-page package inventory report”

This option will print only the package tag on the pop up. Clicking a link on the pop up will print the package inventory report. The package tag would come out on the 4 x 6 label printer. The package inventory report contains every package that is in your system that has not yet been logged out and can print on any printer but is designed to be printed on an 8 1/2 by 11 sheet of paper.

3. “One tag plus full-page packages delivered today”

This option will print only the package tag on the pop up and like the last option shows a clickable link that will print a report of all packages that were logged into the system today. Also like before, the package tag prints on the 4 x 6 label printer and a report prints on a laser printer.

How do I re-print Labels

I just finished setting up all of my mailboxes, and scanned in 5 packages for one of the boxholders. The labels printed incorrectly, after which I installed the Zebra printer driver, per your video.

Now, how do I re-print the labels for the packages I already scanned in?

How do I add Baxter/the Today’s Mail feature to my own website?

Baxter will always live on the website that MDD has created for you but adding him to your own website could not be easier.

1. Log on to your account

2. click the “My Account” link

3. scroll down to the “setup options” section of the page

4. click the link that says “Mail Widget: Click Here to Get Code”

5. Copy code from the pop-up window

6. Paste code into your current website.

This is probably something for your web guy to do for you, but it should only be a 5 minute task.

White line printing through labels

Got a white line running through your labels?

Is it running the long way down the label? (top to bottom)

Does this same line run through multiple lablels?

If the answer is yes to all of these questions you have an issue with your label printer. The MOST likely cause is that a small bit of sticker stuck to the print head. Simply open the printer up as if you were changing the roll of labels, then check the metal strip on the upper inside lid of the printer. It should be clear and unblemished. Cleaning this print head with some alcohol and wipes is a good idea as well.

If you do this and there is a little change, keep cleaning. If there is NO change, I mean none, then you may have a dead printer on your hands. Try tech support for Zebra 800 423 0422. They will let you know if your printer has “gone over to the other side” or if it can be resurected.

Mass email, bulk notification, Welome Messages

Once I entered our box holders with email addresses / phone numbers, is
there a way to send all of them a welcome-email at once?

can’t delete Package recipient

I created several “test” customers which I’m unable to delete. When
hitting the delete icon, a pop-up asks me if I’m sure that I want to
delete the package recipient and I hit OK. However, the accounts stays
active.

invalid username bad user name

We are trying to set up a new customer and it says Username is not available. SDC140 apparently is “rented” though we don’t have it marked so. What are we doing wrong?

blank labels generated on UPS 2442 printer

I’ve experienced now, several times in the last two weeks, the UPS 2442 printer generates a blank label between all printed labels. I’ve tried to determine what causes this. I’ve:

Turned the computer completely off (cold boot).
Left the computer off overnight (cold boot).
Completed a “dump” on the printer (UPS 2442).
Clicked on “Apply” when changing the printer in the printer screen; NOT clicked on “Apply” when changing the printer.

I’m not sure what’s causing this; it seems to happen at random. Any feedback from anyone else regarding this? Or, is it just the UPS 2442 that’s the problem?

I’m going through a lot of labels – Olsen & Ives should like that
