It’s official, after putting a deposit down on a Mode 3 almost two years ago, we took delivery of our first electric vehicle.

Amazing Pizza Oven

It’s National Pizza Day!

We splurged a few weeks on the Breville Crispy Crust Pizza Maker, and wow- we would rate it 7 out of 5 stars.

If you like making pizza at home and you like thin-crust pizza get one of these ASAP.

Still need help making round pizzas from the dough.

We ran out of sauce on this one.

This pepperoni, basil, mushroom, red pepper, and red pepper flakes was my fave

2018 Travel Year

OK, so as I look back, I notice that there was a dearth of MIKETOWN posts in 2018. Apologies for that.

Anyways, here is my 2018 flight map. The year included a week in Punta Mita (via Puerto Vallarta), going to Vegas for a conference, watching Villanova win the National Championship in San Antonio (via Austin), long weekends in Missouri and Philadelphia. We then visited my family in Connecticut over Labor Day and went to NYC for the Marathon in the first weekend of November.

With that domestic travel, I was a few miles short of requalifying for MVP Gold on Alaska Airlines, so I took a very fast trip to Anchorage to requalify.

2017 Travel Review

2017 was a very good year on the travel front. The year included a February trip to Loreto, MX and a November trip to Maui, but was highlighted by a nearly-three-week trip to Italy where we explored Florence, Rome, and Sardining (with a day in Cologne on the way home).
