Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar the master batsman of Indian cricket.He was born in Mumbai(Maharashtra) April 24 th 1973.He is a right hand batsman and right-arm offbreak,legbreak bowler.He played the major teams India,Mumbai,Mumbai Indians(IPL),Asia Eleven,Yorshire.His height is 5 feet and 5 inches.His qualification in education is only with school but he proved his victory in cricket is a huge.we all are happy to have a good player.He is the first batsman scoring the 17000 runs in one day international.He made the 45th century against Australia in India.Actually this was done before int the last match itself but due to the wrong decision of the umpire he lost the chance by 7 runs.But in this match he showed the full power.He start his career at 16 of his age.But he got some injuries and not played well in the beginning.
His first century was at his age of 19.He played 159 test matches and scored more than 12773 runs.Mostly his batting was highly expected against the match with pakistan.He easily understand the bowlers technique and played the match with his own formulas.
He give support to the partnership batsmans.He is an allrounder because his batting,bowling and fielding was a tremendous.

Tennis is an Interesting sports in India.A simple and an interesting game to see with eager.It stolen the many hearts of all the ages.Even though the game was given by England, the players from India showed their performance and proved their victory.In India the game is called as Lawn Tennis.The game is played by singles Men and women, doubles Men and women and mixed double Men and women players.
In 1921 - 1929 Davis Cup ties,India beat the France,Holland, Romania, Spain, Belgium and Greece.In 1950-1960, player Ramanathan Krishnan played very well for the country.His father also a famous tennis player T.K.Ramanathan.After the formation of All India Lawn Tennis Association (AILTA).Indian Tennis committees are combined and the good players got the chances to show their guts.ts really a great one.Now the current players are Leander Paes,Mahesh Bhupathi,Sania Mirza playing very well.Mahesh Bhupathi wons the 10 grand slam titles.After Ramanathan Krishnan,Sania Mirsa awarded the Arjuna Award.

India's National Sport is Hockey.The Britsh played the hockey in India and popular the game picked up by the British India Regiments.The first Hockey club was formed 1885-86 in calcutta.That was followed by Bombay and Punjab.In 1908, India's first Association was the Bengal Hockey. In 1920, the next one in Karachi by the name Sind Hockey Association. In 1928 Olympic games, India played First time hockey in Amsterdam. It goes to the finals by defeating Austria, Denmark, Belgium and Switzerland. At last In finals, India defeated Holland by 3-0.

India's Achievements in Hockey:-

In 1928-1956 Olympics India made a Powerful base to the Team because it won 6 consecutive Gold medals.
India played 24 Olympic matches and won all the 24 matches.
It scored 178 goals approximately 7 goals per match.
In 1964 India won the gold medal in Tokyo Olympics.
In 1980 India won the gold medal in Moscow Olympics.
In 1960 Rome Olympics India lost the medal by 0-1 against Pakistan.

India's most popular sports is Cricket.Indian Cricket team is represented as a International Cricket team.Board of Control for Cricket in India(BCCI) governed the Indian team.In 1932 India played the first test match against England.

In 1983 india won the prudental world cup against west indies in england by 43 runs. This was the first cup won by India. In 1984 india won the Asia cup at sharjah. In 1985 Bensen and Hedges World Championship cup at Australia. In 1985 Rothmans Trophy cup at sharjah. In 1985 won the first sharjah cup at sharjah. After a little gap again won the Asia cup at Bangladesh in 1988. In 1990 India again won the Asia cup at his mother land. In 1993 won the Hero cup in India. In 1994 India won the singer cup at Sri Lanka. In 1995 India won the Asia cup at sharjah.

In 2007 India won the Twenty Twenty world cup under the captaincy of M.S Dhoni.

These two Trophy's are played within the states in India. The Various Team from North, East, West, South are grouped as Zones. The Players played well in these Trophy are getting a option in International Team. So these Trophy's are really important for Indian Team Players.
