One can never blame Riccardo Tisci of lacking a strong sense of direction for Givenchy, ever since he re-launched the menswear division of the Parisian house there has been a strong sense of sporty, grungy man in luxury packaging. On this Collection FW12 Tisci has leaned heavily on the American preppy sporty side of things, referencing his childhood obsession with American Culture. It all manifested itself in a bunch of basics, styled to evoke the feeling of the now cult collections.
