Tip #4: Don’t ask your friends to sell . Ask for a referral instead.

Don’t listen to trainers who demand that you “make your list of 100 closest contacts and start calling to share this wonderful and amazing business opportunity with them!” They’re asking you to trade in the friendships you have built over decades for a few quick bucks.

The dream of financial freedom is as American as apple pie. Sa mga kaibigan mo na sumali sa'yo gusto na nilang maniwalang ito na 'yon. Pero nag-fail sila. Ito 'yung na-feel nilang parang naabuso sila. Naniwala sila, pumasok o nag-join, at don nila nalaman na hindi sila makakapagbenta o maka-build ng sarili nilang network. Dito na sila magagalit sa sarili nila, at magagalit narin sila sa'yo. “I can’t believe I let you talk me into this. I must have had a stupid moment.” Nangyayari 'to.

Base sa survey ni Kim Klaver na: Why their friends had said "No" to the business opportunity. Over 100 networkers from 50 different companies responded. 47% reported that their friends said "No" to the business because: “I can’t sell.” Another 26% said, “I won’t sell to my friends” or “I won’t pressure my friends to sell.” That’s 73% who can’t or don’t want to sell. So, why subject yourself to that level of rejection? And why subject your friends to the unpleasant task of saying No" to you?

"They trusted, bought in, then discovered that they can’t sell. They get mad at themselves, then they get mad at you."

Sa halip ay humingi ng referral doon sa mga taong mahilig magbenta o gustong magbenta: “Do you know anyone who likes to sell and who might be looking for something like this?”

Kapag ayaw move on, kapag gusto tiyak magtatanong yan sa'yo kung paano. Doon mo na ipapakita ang good news patungkol sa opportunity mo ng walang pamimilit at walang mga pangakong yayaman sila kung sila ay sumali sa'yo. At ito pa, h'wag mo rin tanungin ang customer na magbenta. Gaya rin sila ng iba na ayaw din magbenta. Pwede mo silang tanungin o hingan ng referral. Kung sila man ay interesado, sila na mismo ang magtatanong sa'yo, promise. Kung sila naman ay bumibili ng produkto sa'yo, pagkatiwalaan mo sila.

Mahirap para sa ibang tao ang magsabi ng "Hindi o Ayaw" sa isang salesperson, lalo sa isang kaibigan. Kaya naman ang malimit nilang sabihin ay "Siguro o pag-iisipan ko" at ikaw naman ay aasa, tumatawag o nagpa-follow-up, at naghihintay sa wala. Makita kalang na online sa facebook nagla-logout sila, magring cellphone nila at number mo ang makita di na nila ito sinasagot.

Upang maiwasan ito, h'wag nang magbenta. Sa halip ay humingi ng referral. Narito ang isang paraan para magawa ito:

Ipagpalagay nating ginamit mo yung linya sa tip #2: "Flory, meron akong bagong natuklasan at nagbebenta ako nito dahil sa wakas pumuyat ako dito, at may sasabihin ako sayo tungkol dito." [ikakabigla nya 'to]

Ngumiti at magpatuloy: "Baka sakaling may kakilala ka [pause/tumigil ng kunti, para maliwanagan ang isip nya na hindi sya ang target mo] na mas may kailangan sa produktong gaya nito." [pause ulit, antayin ang sagot n'ya]

Ginhawa di'ba? Ngayon ang utak nya ay mas lalong malilinawan at mag-iisip na sya ng taong kakilala n'ya. Hindi mo naabuso ang tiwala nya at magkakaron pa kayo ng mas mahabang oras para pag-usapan yung mga taong kakilala nya na pwedeng bumili ng produkto mo, sa pinagkakatiwalaan parin nyang kaibigan ikaw yun. Ito pa, lagi ka n'yang maaalala tuwing may kaibigan s'yang magtanong sa kanya tungkol sa weight loss o pampapayat-kasi alam n'yang hindi mo rin sila pipilitin.

Ang mga linyang yan ay resulta ng trial and error sa mahabang panahon. Ginagamit ko yan at talagang effective.

"Kumausap ako ng 10 tao, nagkaron ako ng 2 bagong customer at maraming referrals. Effective talaga..."

Asking a friend to buy is like bopping them over the head. Friends want to help their friends.
They feel bad when they can’t. Give them a chance to help by asking for the referral, never the sale.

Twelve(12) tips to make a meaningful career in network marketing—without using or abusing friends, family and neighbors.

1. Don’t mislead your friends by introducing your product or business as if you were recommending a restaurant or movie.

2. Warn them up front that you’re selling what you’re going to talk about.

If you do this with sincerity and without apology, most friends will at least give you their ear. AND they won’t feel betrayed at the end. They might even give you a referral or two.

Sa magkaibigan madalas nagrerekomenda ng mga bagay-bagay sa isa't-isa, pero walang kaibigan ang umaasang bebentahan sila ng bagay na inirerekomenda ng isang kaibigan. Yung tipong nagrerekomenda ka ng isang produckto tapos sa huli sasabihin mo "Oh, nagbebenta ako n'yan, bumili ka na friend.", nakakawalang gana di'ba? Feeling mo ginagamit ka lang, yun yung nakakasira ng pagkakaibigan, kahit sabihing nagnenegosyo lang walang personalan.

Ito yung paraan kung paano mo i-introduce sa kaibigan mo nang hindi mawawala ang kanyang tiwala. Bago mo sabihin ang anumang tungkol sa negosyo mo o sa kung anong produkto, maging transparent ka.

Sabihin mo: "Flory, meron akong bagong natuklasan at nagbebenta ako nito kasi nung ginamit ko 'to pumuti ako, gusto ko itong i-share sa'yo."

Ngayon sinabi mo na kaagad sa kaibigan mo na nagbebenta ka nung pag-uusapan nyong produkto. Dahil alam na n'yang nagbebenta ka prepared na sya sa mga kasunod mong sasabihin kahit na nabigla mo s'ya sa umpisa.

tandaan... Bago mo sabihin ang anumang tungkol sa negosyo mo o sa kung anong produkto, maging transparent ka.

Scenario: May nakausap kang tao at nabanggit mo ang negosyo mo sa kanya, nalaman nya'ng networking ang inaalok mo. Nagsalita sya ng negatibo tungkol sa inaalok mong negosyo. Ano ang gagawin mo?

Makikipagdebate ka'ba?

- Malamang oo, ipagtatanggol mo 'yung sarili mo sa mga maling paratang nila sa company mo o sa negosyo mo kahit alam mo'ng hindi sila makikinig sa'yo.

Paano kung bago ka palang sa networking? Magku-quit ka nalang?

- Sa una hindi, pero habang tumatagal at puro negatibo parin ang maririnig mo malamang sa pag-quit narin ang punta mo at magiging isa ka narin sa mga taong magsasabi ng negatibo sa networking.

Ano ba kasi ang NETWORKING?

Sabi sa Wikipedia -- Networking' is a socioeconomic business activity by which groups of like-minded businesspeople recognize, create, or act upon business opportunities. A business network is a type of business social network whose reason for existing is business networking activity.

- O ayan, iwasan mo 'yung mga taong hindi mo parehas mag-isip. Ang networking kasi ay para sa like-minded businesspeople. Dapat magkaron ka ng SORTING SKILL, piliin mo 'yung taong qualified sa negosyo mo. At ito, may labing-dalawa akong tip sa'yo. Makakatulong ito para sa pagpili mo ng mga qualified people para sa negosyo mo.

Ngunit ito, Ilan na'ba ang nawalang kaibigan nung nagrekuminda ka ng restaurant? Ilang kaibigan na'ba ang nawala ng may nerekuminda kang network marketing?

Yes, it starts the same way: Nagkita kayo kunyari sa Starbucks, nag-usap at nagkamustahan. At yun na nga kinuwento mo na 'yung bago mong natuklasan o nakitang opportunity. At sa huli, sasabihin mo rin na nagbebenta ka ng kung ano. Doon na magkakaron ng pagkabahala sa inyong dalawa--di ka naman aayawan ng kaibigan mo at ikaw ay hindi kumportable na sabihin ang hidden agenda mo sa huli na tatanungin mo s'ya kung bibili o sasali sa negosyo mo.

Masama nun baka 'yun na yung huling pagkikita n'yo. :)

How to Introduce Your Business in 60 Seconds or Less?

As a small business owner, we have various marketing options to promote our business: advertising, telemarketing, direct mail. But my favorite is definitely networking. First, it is the most low cost marketing tool and second it is a way to build long-term relationships with people. If advertising can give you a great result in one shot, networking will bring you more in the long run.

Since I started in MLM Business, I’ve been in many business networking events, which were a great opportunity for me to meet a tremendous amount of people, make deals, get clients, make friends and learn from others entrepreneurs.

During my previous years in Networking I noticed that a significant number of people had great products, company or services but just didn't know how to present them. And as a result were not able to attract the clients they were looking for.

One of the keys to networking is to be able to introduce yourself and your business in 30 to 60 seconds or less, in one or two sentences, in a very concise way. In other words, you need to have a very efficient elevator pitch. You should be ready to deliver your elevator pitch in the blink of an eye at a moment's notice.

But what is an elevator pitch?

An elevator pitch is a short presentation that introduces you and your business's mission and makes you memorable. It focuses on the benefits you provide - and can be delivered in 30-60 seconds or less, even in an elevator, hence the name.

If you are passionate, excited and eager to create and manage your own business, then you should be able to describe, in one or two brief and concise sentences, exactly what you do, why your offering is the best in the marketplace, and in effect, why the person should buy from you.

The best way to develop your elevator pitch is to summarize or list the most enticing, exciting and valuable benefits that your customers will get when they use your products and services.

How can your products and services solve problems or meet needs?

An effective elevator pitch makes a lasting impression, demonstrates your professionalism and allows you to position yourself with your target customers.

Remember that your clients main concern is: "What benefits will I receive when I buy your product or service?" So when you prepare your elevator pitch always make sure that your audience need to answer this question "What's In It for Me?".

People are always more interested in how you can help them than in what you do or how they can help you.

Consider these points when you develop your elevator pitch:

1/ Write down the "deliverables"- the products, services and features that you provide.

Then, analyze your offering and put yourself in your customers' shoes. What good things will they get or what good things will happen to them when they make a purchase?

2/ Be specific. Use numbers and statistics when you can.

For example, double your revenue in less than 12 months, achieve a 30% increase over last year, lose 20 pounds in 10 weeks, triple your number of subscribers in 5 days or less.

People are driven by numbers because they add a sense of credibility to a claim. Numbers also generate curiosity and anxiety, another useful tool that motivates people to make a purchase.

3/ Never reveal your entire story in your elevator pitch. Highlight the main benefits your products and/or services provide, which will encourage people to ask questions and start the conversation.

4/ Create a tagline that will grab your listener's attention and force him/her to stop what he/she is doing and listen to you. The most effective openers leave the audience seeking additional information. Compare your elevator pitch to the cover of your favorite magazine. Most likely, you'll find the titles of the key stories in that issue. If the titles don't grab your attention and raise your curiosity quickly, then you probably won't buy that issue.

5/ Practice your elevator pitch to the point where you can recite the language with perfect ease, great confidence and clarity and total poise immediately. It is extremely important that you feel totally comfortable whenever you deliver your elevator pitch. Learn it; practice it; master it; but never read it. Your delivery must be very smooth and totally fluid. Continually practice your elevator pitch in front of the mirror and before your friends until your Pitch becomes part of you.

So do you have a better idea? Are you ready to write your elevator pitch?

Try this the next time you describe what you do. Choose your words. Hook your listener. Make them ask questions. Make them want to meet with you and buy your products and services.

Bukod sa Time Management dapat meron karing Daily Routine, meron ako'ng nabasa sa Yahoo News tungkol sa ginagawa ng mga successful entrepreneurs araw-araw na alam ko makakatulong din sa'yo. Tingin ko magugustuhan mo 'to.

Alam mo ba? - "The most effective entrepreneurs view themselves as assets. They continually invest in themselves and in their future through continuing education and self-improvement."

If you want to become a better entrepreneur and successfully grow your business, dedicate time and energy to improve your daily habits.

Here are 15 things many business influencers make time for in their busy schedules.

Eat breakfast. To work at your peak performance, your body needs fuel. Rather than just grab a cup of coffee on your way to the office, take a few minutes to eat a meal or drink a protein smoothie — even if it’s on the go.
Plan your day. First thing in the morning, look at your calendar and prioritize your schedule. If you work best during a specific time of the day, block out those hours for quiet work time. I do my best work in the mornings, so I try to schedule at least 90 minutes to work on my writing before daily distractions begin. While you’re at it, schedule short breaks throughout the day to eat a healthy snack and keep your energy up.
Don’t check email right away. It’s tough not to hop on your smart phone first thing in the morning and see who’s emailed you. Often checking email is a distraction from what you want to focus on early in the day. Try to wait until 9 a.m. or 10 a.m. to check email, after you’ve completed at least one of your critical to-do items. If you’re working on an important project, try not to check your email more than three times a day.
Remember your purpose. Take a few moments at the start of each workday to remind yourself of your company’s goals. Think about your core customer and which areas of your business are most profitable. We oftentimes get caught up in the minutia of daily tasks we lose sight of what brings us happiness and profitability.
Single-task. We live in a world that praises multi-tasking. Unfortunately, when you have too much going on at once you may become distracted by interruptions and unimportant glitches. To be productive and effective, prioritize, delegate whenever possible and focus.
Visualize. It may feel silly, but close your eyes and envision your success. Imagine what you will feel like when you reach your goals. Visualization is a powerful tool and can help you keep your aspirations at the front of your mind. It might also help to post a picture of what you’d like to accomplish. For example, if you’re interested in taking a trip to Paris, post of photo of the Eiffel Tower on your desk.
Say no. Entrepreneurs especially feel pressure to accept every opportunity that comes their way. However, not every opportunity will benefit you or your business. Time is our most valuable commodity. Be selective about what you agree to do.
Value your time. Unlike money, time is a non-renewable resource. There’s simply no way to make more of it. Guard your time and spend it doing the most important things for yourself and your company. Avoid distractions whenever possible. Whether you facilitate or attend a meeting, online or in person, get clear about the start and end time. Whenever someone requests a meeting or consultation with you, try asking for the questions in advance so you can do my research ahead of time. This will keeps you on time and on task.
Delegate. In the early days of my business, I thought I could save money and do everything myself. Then I realized the small, mundane tasks were taking me away from those things that generated the most income for my business. I was on the fast track to burnout. When you become overwhelmed with work or can’t figure out a solution, hire someone to help.
Listen. Be present when you speak with a colleague or employee. Take the time to fully understand what the other person is saying. Leaders who listen effectively avoid miscommunications and are less likely to have to ask for clarification later.
Show gratitude. Make it a daily habit to sit down and be thankful for all the opportunities you have been given and all the things you’ve accomplished so far. Simply reminding yourself of your past successes will keep you focused, present and productive.
Stand up and move around. Did you know sitting is the new smoking? This car-commuting, desk-bound lifestyle can be harmful to your health. Studies show it raises the risk of disability, diabetes, heart disease, certain types of cancer and obesity. No matter when you can make time for it during the day, take a few minutes to stand up and take activity breaks every hour or so. It’s good for your body and mind.
Breathe deeply. Many people take shallow breaths. Every hour or so, stand up from your desk, stretch and take 10 deep breaths. The quick break and boost of oxygen will reinvigorate you for your next task.
Take a lunch break. Get up from your desk and eat lunch elsewhere. If you can’t spare even a moment away from work during the day, make lunch your networking hour. Schedule lunch meetings throughout the week with key clients, professional acquaintances or friends.
Clear your desk. At the end of each day, clear the clutter from your desk. Put away your pens, stack loose paper and straighten other items. A clear desk will give you a clean slate for the next day and prevent you from feeling bogged down by yesterday’s work.

5 Reasons WHY You Should NOT Start a Facebook Page for Your MLM Company

Lunch break, nag-browse ako ng FB at nakakita ako ng mga pictures ng products na naka-tag FB friends ko. Isa yun sa topic ko dito sa blog "How to use Facebook to Growth your MLM Business" na dapat iniiwasan natin kasi nakaka-inis yun, baka ma-unfriend ka kapag pinagpatuloy mo.

By the way, kanina may nabasa rin akong article sa postplanner blog na gusto ko i-share din sa'yo. Tingin ko may matututunan ka rito.

Question: Should You Start a Facebook Page for your MLM Business?

Opportunities are everywhere, new opportunities and people love new opportunities.

Many people will join a new opportunity and get extremely pumped about the product, the compensation plan, bonuses, rewards and etc.

They blast out links constantly on their profile, annoy everyone until someone tells them they should start a Facebook business page to showcase their products and reach more people.

Fair enough - better to do business on a page anyway right?

So they start their page and ask all of their friends to LIKE it - whom they already annoyed posting about the product on their profile before - and they start posting about the product, testimonies how great it is and more.

No big deal right? I’d say WRONG! Here’s why…

5 Reasons You Should NOT Start a Facebook Page for Your MLM Business

1. You’ll Leave the Business

The likelihood of you still selling the same product 3 to 12 months from now is pretty limited - no matter how much you love the company/product.

Most people in MLM companies fizzle out in 2-3 months.

They get bored or discouraged and move on to other things.

If you've created a page for any particular product then fail on the business, any work you did on your Facebook page is made pointless.

2. Parent Company Goes Out of Business

What if you built a page let's say the Scentsy (as shown below) and at some point that company goes out of business?

You’re left with a Scentsy page with a few hundred Likes/Followers that you can’t use. Those followers aren’t interested in hearing about another product you’re selling/introducing.

And, typically Facebook won’t let you change the name of a page after the page receives a certain amount of followers/Likes.

So now the page you’ve worked so hard on to get more Facebook Likes is useless.

3. MLM Company Does Not Allow You to Run a Facebook Page

Many MLM companies do not technically allow you or even product representatives to create websites or Facebook pages using the company name.

Creating such a page could result in a reprimand - or a cease & desist letter!

You should dive into your distributor agreement to see if you can even use the company’s name or logo online.

You’ll be shocked to see that most say you cannot do this.

Scentsy technically owns this page now and could probably make a submission to Facebook about a duplicate page and take it over.

If you dive into Facebook’s terms of service you’ll find that if you aren’t an official representative of a company you can’t run a page in the name of the company:

A Page for a brand, entity (place or organization), or public figure may be administered only by an authorized representative of that brand, entity (place or organization) or public figure (an “official Page”).

Unless you are Scentsy you shouldn’t have a page named Scentsy - or any other MLM product.

4. Causes Confusion

I could name at least 30 of my personal/online friends and family who are selling some sort of MLM products.

Imagine if they - along with the millions of others selling products - all had a Facebook page about their MLM business!

There would be brand confusion.

Who is officially a rep from Scentsy? Can’t I just buy from any of them since it’s all the same product?

Too many pages about a product diminishes the product to me and causes confusion among consumers.

5. You’re Branding the Company Not YOU!

And Finally, the biggest reason not to start a Facebook page for your MLM business in my opinion.

Cortney Scott submitted her Scentsy page for review on a recent post on the Post Planner page and the author thinks that the cover photo looks great and Cortney somehow is wasting her time with her page.

Minus her name being on the name of the page do you see Cortney branding herself in anyway in the Cover Photo or Profile Picture?

Nope.. Not at all!

She’s branding the Scentsy company.

Great for Scentsy, bad for Cortney.

If another Scentsy rep pops up on Facebook those that have Liked Cortney’s page are likely to go and give that page a LIKE as well.

Now who do they buy from???

And again what happens when Cortney leaves Scentsy or they go out of business?

Sa MLM, paglipas ng mga buwan ito kalimitan ang tanong nila "Pano ko mahahanap ang agila sa network ko?, Pano ko mahahanap ang tamang tao?", Maraming tanong na minsan pag 'di nasagot nagiging dahilan ng failure at pag quit. :-(

First, you need to become the right person before you can find the right partners. Ibig sabihin ng Right Person dito sa business na ginagawa natin, ay yung meron kang tamang Mindset at meron kang mga Skills na nalalaman para gawin ang business mo ng tama.

WRONG MINDSET PEOPLE finds also wrong mindset people. Ang mga taong ito ay yung ang alam e WALA... Wala akong time, wala akong pera, wala akong interes, wala lahat.

Kung IKAW mismo ang negative (aware ka man o hindi), mga negative na tao din ang makakausap mo, ang maaatract at mahahanap mo. Mga taong tipong ang bukambibig at alam ay... "Scam yan", "Pinapayaman mo lang yung nasa taas", "Pyramiding yan", "Hindi totoo yan", etc.

Paano kung ikaw mismo wala pang SKILLS? Simple lang hindi mo rin magagawa ng tama ang business mo kasi nga hindi mo alam kung PAANO. - "Totoo nito 'di mo kailangang i-explain o mag-explain na mali sila"

Work on your self first and Become The Right person! Develop mo yung tamang mindset na kaylangan para maging successful. Mag-acquire ka ng mga importanteng skills na kakailanganin mo para magkaron ng resulta sa business mo.

Marami ang mga sumasali sa industry na 'to na hanggang ngayon ay umaasa na makakahanap sila ng agila/alas/halimaw/downline na magiging susi sa success nila o magpapayaman sa kanila (tipong naghihintay nalang ng commission kahit walang ginagawa).

Pwede ka rin namang mangarap at maghintay na matatagpuan mo yung taong hinahanap at inaasam mo balang araw, or pwedeng ngayon mismo mag-desisyon ka na IKAW mismo ang RIGHT PERSON na magpapayaman sa sarili mo.

Bakit DAPAT AKONG sumali sa NETWORKING?

Dapat kang sumali sa NETWORKING o NETWORK MARKETING BUSINESS sapagkat ito ang mabilis at legal na paraan para matupad pangarap mo sa buhay. Sabi nga kung gusto mo matupad pangarap mo pwede ka mag-artista, maging pulitiko, at maging negosyante. Sa pagnenegosyo dito papasok ang NETWORKING, sa maliit na puhunan sa pag-umpisa na merong malaking potential na kumita ka ng malaki.

Sa NETWORKING kasi hindi batayan ang pinag-aralan, kulay, at lahi. Walang malaking risk, di mo kailangang magbayad ng pwesto, walang tauhan, hindi babahain o masisira ng kalamidad, pwede mo dalhin kahit saan maging sa ibang bansa, marami kayong magtutulungan, magagamit mo rito ang leveraging gaya ng ginagawa ng McDonalds, Jolibee, SM Malls, etc.

Pero ang pagsali ay hindi basta-basta, meron kang dapat isaalang-alang. Bigyan kita ng Tip kung ano ang mga iyon.

Bago ka sumali sa isang NETWORK MARKETING BUSINESS o NETWORKING may mga ilang bagay na dapat mong isaalang-alang. Sa artikulong ito meron akong limang(5) bagay na dapat mong tingnan at ilagay sa pagsasaalang-alang bago mo ibayad ang pinaghirapan mong pera. Kaya halika't basahin upang matuto.

Limang(5) bagay na dapat isaalang-alang bago sumali sa isang Network Marketing Business o Networking.

1. COMPANY - Bago ka sumali sa isang network marketing business o networking ang kauna-unahang bagay sa lahat na dapat mong tingnan ay ang kumpanya. Alamin mo kung ano ang kumpanyang ito at para saan. Kung ito ba ay lehitimo? Mamulat tayo sa katutuhanan, marami d'yan ay hindi legal at puro panloloko lang. (SCAM)

Alamin mo rin kung sinu-sino ang may-ari at kung ano ang kanilang karanasan. Hindi lang yung merong karanasan sa MLM business dapat gayundin sa mga produkto. Sigurado ba na kwalipikado ang may-ari na mapatakbo ang negosyo? Matapat at mapagkakatiwalaan ba sila? Hindi mo gugustuhin na ikaw ay mapapasok sa isang sitwasyon kung saan ang mga lider ay hindi tapat at palubog ang negosyo.

Ang isa pang mahalagang dapat tingnan na kadahilanan bago sumali ay ang utang ng kumpanya. Ang kumpanyang ito ba ay may pagkaka-utang? Mayroon ba silang sapat na pera upang tiyakin na sila ay manatili sa negosyo? Ang mga bagay na ito ay mahalagang isaalang-alang sapagkat ikaw ay sasali sa isang kumpanya na dapat ay tatagal sa industriya at may sapat na pera upang mapatakbo at maibigay lahat ng benepisyo.

2. PRODUCT - Bakit mahalaga ang produkto na isaalang-alang bago sumali sa isang network marketing? Deretsahan, hindi importante kung ano ang produkto mo. Don't get me wrong, oo gusto natin ng isang magandang produkto na maaari nating ibenta sa ating mga consumer, ngunit hindi ito nangunguna sa listahan. Ang dahilan kung bakit sinasabi ko ito ay dahil maaaring magtagumpay ang isang negosyo kahit kakila-kilabot pa ang produkto dahil sa huli, ang mga tao bumibili dahil sa'yo, hindi dahil sa produkto.

Nasabi ko kanina na hindi ang produkto ang nangunguna sa listahan ko pero isa ito sa dapat mong i-consider kung sasali kaba sa networking o hindi. Tingnan mo ang produkto at tanungin mo ang sarili mo "Gagamitin ko ba ang produktong ito kung halimbawa merong mag-alok sa akin?". Kung masasagot mo ng "Oo" marahil i-consider mo yung kumpanya, kung sagot mo ay "Hindi" move on ka. 'Wag mo na sayangin oras mo at panahon para sumali pa.

3. NEED o PANGANGAILANGAN - pagkatapos mong malaman ang mga produkto tingin mo merong pangangailangan dito? Tingin mo di naman ganun ka importante o kailangan pero sinisiguro mo na ginagamit ito pang-araw-araw. Karaniwan na sa complan ng kumpanya na sa mga produkto nakukuha ang residual income na binibigay sa mga distributor. Wala naman may gusto na ang produkto mo ay walang may gusto o may pangangailangan, di'ba? Mas maganda pa nga kung ang produkto mo ay appealing hindi lang sa pagbebenta ganun din sa recruiting.

4. COMPENSATION PLAN - "Binary, Matrix, Uni-level, Stairstep Breakaway, Multi-level" ang mga ito parang foreign language tingin ng ibang tao. Ang konsepto kung paano ka mababayaran minsan ay nakalilito. Ibig kong sabihin, lahat ng sumasali sa mga kumpanyang ito ay para magkaron ng kalayaan sa pananalapi at oras, (TIME FREEDOM, FINANCIAL FREEDOM) tama? Kaya bakit hindi maglaan ng oras upang pag-aralan ang comp plan bago sumali sa isang network marketing business o networking.

Ang dahilan kung bakit sinasabi ko ito ay dahil ang lahat ng comp plan ay hindi pareho. Ayaw natin ng hindi tayo nababayaran sa tamang trabaho natin, di'ba? Ganun din dito, minsan merong comp plan na malaki ang napupunta sa kumpanya kaysa sa distributor. Pag-aralan ng mabuti ang compensation package upang lubos na maunawaan ang kahalagahan sayo bago ang pagsali.

5. TIMING - naririnig natin na ang timing at positioning ay napakaimportante. Angkop ito sa industriya ng network marketing. Ikaw ba ay pang 1,000 na sumali o pang 1,000,000 tao? Hindi ko alam tungkol sa iyo, ngunit nais kong matiyak na ako ay nauuna at hindi nahuhuli. Kaya tiyaking inilagay mo ang timing sa pagsasaalang-alang bago sumali sa isang network marketing. Kailan ba sila nagsimula? Gaano na katagal? Ganun din sa mga produkto.

Kaya dapat bago sumali sa Network Marketing o Networking...

Tiyaking nailagay ang lahat ng mga sumusunod sa maingat na pagsasaalang-alang. Evaluate mo kung ang papasukan mo ba ay para ba sa'yo o pwede ba sa'yo. Gagawin mo ito dahil gusto mo hindi yung pinilit ka lang. Ang network marketing business ay hindi para sa lahat yan ang totoo, 97% ng sumasali dito ay nag-fail. Pero kung ikaw ay matibay, matiyaga, may pangarap at gustong mabago ang buhay gawin mo ito. Mag Sign-up ka. Wag mo lang kakalimutan ang limang (5) dapat i-consider bago ka mag sign-up.

Are You Doing Your MLM Business Part-time?

"Stay part-time as long as you can until you are making twice as much in your MLM business as you do in your full-time job" - Rod Nichols

Jim Rohn (an American entrepreneur, author and motivational speaker) talked about how he told people he was working on his fortune part-time while he worked his job full-time. As he started making half as much in his MLM business, as his job, he told people that he was making half as much income from his part-time business as he did in his full-time job. When his MLM business was producing as much income as his job, he told people he was making the same amount of money in his part-time business as he was in his full-time job.

Stay part-time until you are making twice as much in your MLM business part-time as you do in your full-time job. No need to stop on your job or whatever your doing right now, just add your fortune part-time after that. Schedule your part-time business after your work if you're employee. Two(2) hours everyday is enough on your part-time MLM business.

As part-time networker:

Make sure you schedule time everyday to work your business. Prepare your MLM Calendar and cross-out your work hours, eating, sleeping, exercise, church, and family time then schedule some hours for business activities.

Make some adjustment like lowering the priority in activities like TV, movies, and other forms of entertainment. Life is busy and if you don't make time for your business, that time will be used for something less productive.

I worked part-time in my MLM business, instead of thinking part-time I'm considering it full-time business. Why?

I scheduled two(2) hours everyday as my working time in my business. I do three(3) hours or more sometimes and a day every weekends, that's why I am considering it full-time with overtime, and it pays a lot. Almost every week I sponsor additional member in my team.

You too can be successful even part-time, just be excited, grateful and positive.

Are You Treating Your Business Like A Business?

“Treat your business like a multi-million business and it will pay you same… treat your business like a hobby and it will pay you same”

Most multi-level marketers don’t look at their business as a ‘real’ business. Now, the question is How could you expect others to join you if you're not looking to your business like a 'real' business?

Things you can do to treat your business like a real business:

Mindset - believe that you are a multi-million businessman doing business BIGTIME. Very Simple, Right?

Business Hours - create calendar of activity (schedule of your work)

Do you believe that successful business have business hours? Employees will agree on that, they start at 8:00 AM and end at 5:00 PM.

Most multi-level marketers are working only when they feel or they like... which is not good. Schedule your time of work even 5 hours everyday start at 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM (fulltime employee, part-time multi-level marketers do). It doesn't matter whatever the amount of time you allocate everyday, the point is you are doing your business like a 'real' business.

Evaluate the Results - create list of what you do daily, weekly or monthly (How did you do your prospecting, How many presentation you did) and make some adjustment into your daily, weekly, or monthly of work.

How is it important to evaluate your results?

Let's say you're on a diet and workout plan to make yourself slim and sexy. You think you can be slimmer or sexier just by looking at the mirror? Obviously no... well that's the idea of creating a list and evaluating your results for you to analyze and adjust the work you do. If you conduct 2 presentation last week, make it 3 this week or apply the +1 rule (add 1 in every work you've done) and you will see better results.

Sometimes multi-level marketers aren't tracking their actions because they’re afraid to see the results. That's why many of them fails.

The Purpose of Commitment

At some point in the past we've all done it... And if we're not careful, at some point in the future we might do it again... We've given our word, "I'll be there." We've made a promise, "You can count on me." We've committed to doing something—making 10 calls, bring two guests, or achieving that next promotion—and yet we didn't follow through.

And we (or at least I) always had a good explanation... "The time just got away from me." "No one wanted to come." "It was harder than I thought." But somewhere deep down inside we had to wonder if those reasons really were our reality. True, we didn't make the calls, bring those guests, or achieve the promotion when we told ourselves we would. But why did we commit to something and then not complete the pre-agreed upon task, assignment, or goal?

Was our failure to succeed really due to a lack of time, some unlearned skill, or a much deeper self-esteem issue? Well, we could probably get a great conversation going as to why so many people have such a difficult time keeping their commitments. However, I would prefer to offer a simpler solution—a step-by-step approach that will, in effect, allow you to set, keep, and ultimately achieve any worthwhile goal you desire...

Now just to make sure we're all on the same page, allow me to share with you the definition of commitment I learned back in 1995—nineteen words that still echo inside my head to this day: "Commitment is doing the thing you said you'd do, long after the feeling you said it in has passed." Now that's what keeping your word is all about!

So if "committing to...and then following through" is what you'd like to do more often, the following five step plan will help you set your goals and keep your promises, thereby allowing you to ultimately achieve what's truly important to you...

1) Decide What You Want

Achievers realize some people join the business because they want to drive a "free" car; some because they want to earn more money; and some because they want the extra time needed to enjoy a more rewarding life. What about you? To stay the course you'll need to be moving towards something you actually want! Part of the journey is discovering what that is...

2) Know Your "Why?"

True, deciding what you want is your first step, and yet it's only part of the solution! Therefore, if you really want to set, keep, and ultimately achieve every worthwhile goal, you'll need to become clear on "Why?" you want what you want. The best part is you'll know when you've found your "Why" because from that moment on you will do whatever it takes...

3) Follow A Proven Plan

You either have a proven plan (MLM system or daily method of operation) you follow, or you don't. If you do, continue moving forward. If you don't, find someone who has already achieved what you want. Find out what they did. Do that. And then continue until you achieve the same result they've already proven was possible. Because it's easier to keep going when you get results—and it's easier to get results when you follow a proven plan...

4) Commit Yourself Publicly

After you've decided what you want, discovered why that is important to you, and are diligently following a proven plan to achieve it, you're ready for step four: public commitment! Decide in writing that you will be here, still actively involved, a year from now... On 3" x 5" cards write out what you want (your goal), followed by a sentence or two explaining your desire to have this (your "Why?”), and then include the steps you're taking (your proven plan) to accomplish it... Give these hand-written cards to 10 people you know, like, and trust, and would not want to disappoint. Believe me, you'll follow through...

5) Get Better Every Day

Leaders know that wherever you are, and wherever you're going, your journey will be easier if you incorporate a daily personal development program. So what should yours include? Books, CDs, and classes. Because when you get better "it" gets easier...

Use this information to guide you—all five steps—and you will be well on your way to achieving all your dreams. Now that's the purpose of commitment!

Wondering why lots of network marketer fails?

Before you understand the way to avoid failure, you must understand first the REASONS why networker fails.

2 REASONS Why Network Marketer Fails:

They Join but They Don't Do Anything - they bought the package and they invest. In other word they JOINED but they don't do anything in the time of doing the business. Maybe they joined because of Hyping or they joined because they liked the presentation.
They Join, They Do the Business but They Face Challenges and Quit - they face challenges like rejection, quitting downlines, and many more. They face failures and then suddenly they quit.

Example:

In Boxing, what do you expect if you're a boxer? - upper-cut, bruise, broken nose, blood, and sometimes knock-out. If you're network marketer, consider yourself a boxer.

Think about Manny Pacquiao, he won't be a champion and a pound-for-pound king if he quit before when the time of his failure. He had bruise and knock-out but he rise-up and fight.

Do you think Manny Pacquiao would be a champion if he quit? Do you think if he didn't rise-up he would be a pound-for-pound king?

Network Marketing is the same as that, if you want success, results and a dream come true expect that along the way you will face challenges like bruise, upper-cut, broken nose and sometimes knock-out. The question is, are you willing to stand-up again and fight? Are you willing to rise-up to reach your GOAL, DREAMS and RESULTS you like in your life?

Now, I'd like you to ask this to yourself.

What are the REASON WHY you're doing this business, MLM business?
What are the REASON WHY you should rise-up to achieve your GOAL even challenges awaits along the way?

The ONLY WAY to Avoid Failure is:

Your REASON WHY - your reason WHY will drive you to stand-up in achieving your DREAMS and GOALS. It is your reason WHY you should do your business, you should grow in your business, you should face the challenges along the way.

If your presence in Facebook is strong, Why not use Facebook as your lead generation machine to promote your MLM business? Yes! You can use it just like others, but first you must know how to do it correctly.

Lots of Networkers are using Facebook on their business. However, lots of them struggle to find the balance. 90% will not follow the rules, and the 10% do follow.

This is how you use Facebook to build a profitable MLM or Network Marketing business through Facebook.

1. Build Relationships

Set your intention and goals when starting your Facebook campaign that you are there to build long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with people. You are there to connect, to provide value in the marketplace and actually get to know people.

A fast pitch? Forget it, does not work…

Facebook is completely transparent. If your goals are not congruent, marred with self-serving actions or inconsistent…people will know. Just be smart and be real. In today’s world of social media, good news and bad news travels very fast.

2. Optimize Your Profile Photo (only your face)

Profile Photo – I see this so much it needs it’s own bullet point. If you really want to build relationships based on trust and mutual respect, you need a good picture where people can clearly see your face. This is the number one reason people accept friend requests. Get a good, professional photo. At the very least, get a really clear, well lit one. I know you love your kids, but don’t use them as your profile pic.

No pictures with a bottle of juice, coffee, pills, supplements, or whatever you promote, you do not want to position yourself as "that sales guy/bitch/pusher"…

3. Optimize Your Profile Information (About you)

Delete "Funny" Images

If you truly want to use your profile for network marketing business, then you need to make it reflect your leadership.

If there are "funny" photos of you in your albums and If you are constantly sending pillow fights, horoscope info, pixie dust and game apps to people, you may want to shift the use of your time. Sit down and spend some time crafting your message. What do you want people to know about you?. You need to connect people to you as a person and you as a business leader.

Position yourself as an expert by adding value to other peoples lives. Give tips, advice and share all the knowledge you've learned thru reading books and your experiences, helping other people with their problems will start establishing yourself as an expert.

4. Strategically Grow Your Friends List

There are two ways to go about growing the number of friends you have on Facebook…randomly or strategically. Since we are talking about business, let’s choose strategically. Decide what your interests are and what niche your business is in then seek out Influencers in those markets. Find groups that are of interest, join the group and reach out to the administrators and officers of that group to build relationship with them.

5. Give LIKES

It takes only a split second to like an article or comment, a very powerful way to put YOU on the fore front.

6. Share Relevant and Purposeful Content

Yes, occasionally we will care if you just dropped the kids off at school or that you just got out of the shower, but we don’t need a play by play of stuff that is meaningless.

Do not SPAM on friends wall and tag any ad or images of your opportunity or products (that's annoying).

7. Join the Conversation

Social media is, after all, about being social. Go engage with other people and comment on their stuff. “Like” their post if you like it. Forward their dialogue.

Help them, genuinely. Be of service. Recommend friends & invite people to groups. Be that connector and facilitator of relationships and you will be rewarded time.

Right now you are in the present. You have left your past behind, and your future lies ahead of you. If you ask yourself how do you want your future to be, you will easily answer: “I don’t know”, “I have no idea”, “What I do know, is what I don’t want to happen”. You would usually know what you like and dislike about your present, and if you think about it, you will realize what you like and dislike about your past. However, it is more than likely that the uncertainty about what you want for your future will remain.

Usually we are taught from a young age all kinds of knowledge, but we are not taught to trust ourselves. Believing in yourself, and having a clear idea of what you want might be branded by many as arrogance.

For us network marketer, we need to leave our comfort zone, go to learn zone and be brave to go to magic zone... the zone we're success happens. You can show this video to your downlines specially to those you think are still in their comfort zone.

High-Entry Level or Low-Entry Level?

Sa dami ng naglalabasang MLM company ngayon, at sa dami ng nag-aalok ng opportunity na 'to alin kaya sa kanila ang dapat mong salihan?

Ito yung tanong...

" Sa aling MLM company mas magandang sumali, don ba sa MURA o mababang entry o sa MAHAL o mas mataas na entry?

INTERESADO ka kung 'yan ang tanong mo.

Ang SAGOT ay DEPENDE SA'YO.

Depende sayo at sa magiging "market" mo.

Kung sa tingin mo eh mas mabilis mong mapapasali ang tao sa MURAng entry package eh 'di dun ka. However, merong disadvantages sa mura o low-level entries, gaya ng:

kapag maliit ang puhunan, mas maliit ang commitment ng downlines at mas madaling mag-quit.
magiging mabilis ang pasok ng tao subalit challenge ito sa magiging upline. Kailangan n'yang gawing magstep-up ng mabilis para mahandle ang isang malaking group. Kailangan ang isang leader(upline) ay kayang pumili at magdevelop ng leader ng mas mabilis sa inaasahan sapagkat kung mabagal ang leader sa pagstep-up ganun kabilis nawawala ang mga tao sa group nya sa kadahilanang 'di kayang ihandle o hawakan ang buong network nya sa laki o dami ng tao.
hindi tumatagal ang kompanya, nagsasara o kaya naman ay nagbabago ng compensation plan(panibagong entry nanaman).

ENTRIES in MLM:

Low-level entry ranging Php500.00 - Php3,000.00
High-level entry ranging Php5,000.00 - Php15,000.00

Sa High-level medyo mahirap talaga ang pag-raise ng investment pero ang commitment at ang "staying power" ng mga downlines ay mas malakas o mataas compare to low-entry level package.

Karamihan sa mga networkers sa Pilipinas ay binary-driven. At kung masusuri mo lahat halos ng company na tumagal ng 3 years pataas ay binary companies na kabilang sa High-entry level.

People will see you as leader with a rare value to offer. Your value is important to understood by your team members and prospects. Standing out will cause attraction of people to you for mentorship and direction.

How often do you find yourself running out of time? Weekly, daily, hourly? For many and even us networker, it seems that there's just never enough time in the day to get everything done.

When you know how to manage your time you gain control. Rather than busily working here, there, and everywhere (and not getting much done anywhere), effective time management helps you to choose what to work on and when. This is essential if you're to achieve anything of any real worth.

I found this article useful from other networker blog.

"Each night before I go to bed, I make a list of all the things that I need to do the following day. After I listed them all, I separate the top 3 tasks that I think the most important and the ones that will give me better productivity once I accomplish them.

Then In the morning when I woke up, I make top 3 priority and start accomplishing them. Most of the time the top 3 on my list will be the hardest and the biggest task (keep in mind that the greater the task that you’ll accomplish, the bigger the impact to your daily activity therefore will increase your productivity and results.)"

COMMON MISTAKE PEOPLE DO
- They start on the much less important things because they are much easier. Unfortunately, these easy and small tasks will eventually sums up and they'll be spending their whole day working this less important task that will eat their time away.

Here is a quick guide on deciding what task to prioritize. This step is from a book called First Things First written by Stephen Covey who is a time and organizational management guru.

Prioritize your task according to its importance:

Important and Urgent
Important but not Urgent
Not Important but Urgent
Not Important and Not Urgent

Always remember to focus on the important task first and not the urgent ones. Don’t fall to the concept of urgency like most people do.

Most people will prioritize their task like this base on urgency:

Don’t prioritize things that will consume your time.

Scheduling is the process by which you plan your use of time. By scheduling effectively, you can both reduce stress and maximize your effectiveness.

8 Essential MLM Tips for Filipino Networker

Here are the 8 essential tips that I want to share with you whether you are just starting out or been doing Network Marketing business for quite awhile now.

And they are...

1. Set your GOALS - Setting goals is very important part of success
and a must in every business. It's very hard to accomplish things without definite goals. You can ask yourself what is it that you want to accomplish. Better income? A new car? A new condo? Etc.

Write down your goals and set a target date for reaching it. Divide the time period into blocks of achievement that are reachable. Believe that you can achieve your goals and work consistently toward in accomplishing them and finally, commit to yourself that you will achieve your goals. Success happens to those who are not only persistent in reaching their goals, but to those who make a decision to reach them.

2. Break It Down - If a task is too large for you to handle, it will be much easier to break it down because it is very easy to lose focus when you get overwhelmed with the things that you needed to do and the stuff that you needed to learn. What you can do is break these tasks into smaller bits and pieces. It'll be much easier to concentrate because you will not feel as overwhelmed. An example for this can be putting up a website. This can be broken down into: “Thinking of a website domain name, thinking of a theme for your site, finding out where to buy the domain name, gathering contents for your site and so on.

3. Make a TO DO List - Before going to bed at night, list all the things you want to get done the following day and include also the time you want to do each task. This will provide you a planned approach for your entire day.

As each task is done, mark it off from your list. Make sure to finish the first task before moving to the next. You’ll be amazed how much easier and organized it is when you work with a TO DO List. It is also good to always keep with you a notebook to list all your appointments, potential prospect, business clients, and referrals, you will be filling that notebook constantly as you move forward with your business

4. Expect NO's - You need to understand that NO's are part of our business and you doesn’t have to take

them personally and let affect you emotionally. Reason why most networkers burnout very easily is because they let the rejections affect them so bad. Business + Emotion = Disaster. A good thing to practice is to put in your mind that every NO gets you closer to a YES. Remember, the yes's are your income. Also remember that"No" does not necessarily mean "No." Often a "No" means more time for them to think and to find out more information about your product or your service. A “No” can also means that your client is not yet convinced that they can trust you. Assure here by your helpful attitude and your complete honesty, that you want what is best for him or her. They will most likely respect you and do business with you.

5. Have a Positive Attitude - You can start by surrounding yourself with positive things and positive people, and keep yourself away from negative things and try your best not to listen to negative people around you. “Wala kang mapapala kung makikinig ka sa mga Negatibong tao” Don’t get affected by these people. They are dream stealers. I want you to become aware that there is going to be a lot of discouragement, negativity, Crab mentality, Jealousy. Jealous people don’t want you to succeed. Just believe in yourself that you can achieve anything.

My favourite thing to do is read positive books from authors like Napoleon Hill, Dale Breckenridge Carnegie, Rhonda Byrne etc...You can also listen to audios & watch videos that will give you positive feeling. Success in MLM, as in all areas of life is 90 percent attitude and 10 percent aptitude. What the mind can conceive and believe, it can achieve... Napoleon Hill

6. Never Stop Learning – You need to understand how valuable continuous learning is. You need to continuously feeding yourself new knowledge in order for you to have self growth and business growth. When there is no learning, there is no growth. All successful people keep on learning new skills and constantly increasing their knowledge and that is simply how they become successful. They keep on learning new things, applying it, mastering it and learn another one. Be very curious! Curiosity is one of the foundation blocks of learning.

7. Talk to a Lot of People - I like to encourage people to talk to as many people as they can. Make friends, build relationship and Increase your warm market. You can also learn a lot just by simply talking to a lot of other networker, ask questions, share ideas and learn from their stories and past experiences.

8. Know Your WHY - I listed this last because for me,

this is the most important. Know why do you want to have a Network Marketing business and why do you want to be successful. Your Why will greatly affect the actions that you are going to take for you to succeed. The bigger your WHY, the more you are motivated, enthusiastic, and passionate.

My Why is my family. They are the reason why I wanted to succeed in this industry, to have time freedom and achieve financial freedom so I can spend a lot of time with them and enjoy life.
