<title>My Two Dollars: Sunday Money Roundup: Getting Settled In.</title>
 <link>http://feedproxy.google.com/~r/MNetwork/~3/5G89uZb5cLY/</link>
 <description>I love my new apartment and while I am still unpacking everything, I already feel right at home. It feels good to have made the right decision at this point in my life, and I look forward to discovering all that Denver has to offer.  So while I finish going through all my &amp;#8220;stuff&amp;#8221;, check out some posts I liked from the last week&amp;#8230;
Cash Money Life asks To Netflix or Not to Netflix? I most definitely Netflix, especially now that I can stream it right to my TV from my Blu-Ray player...

<title>Being Frugal: You Tell Me: Overdraft Opt-In Rule</title>
 <link>http://feedproxy.google.com/~r/MNetwork/~3/sOlspTDoqB0/</link>
<description>Yesterday the Federal Reserve enacted a rule, which would make it mandatory that banks allow customers opt-in to overdraft protection,  rather than automatically enroll customers, as is the current practice.  In other words, consumers would have a choice as to whether they get overdraft protection, rather than the banks choosing to enroll them without permission.  In retrospect, I didn&amp;#8217;t make the new rule clear originally. (Italiacs are an edit from the original version of the post).

<title>Gather Little By Little: Friday Gathering: Mrs. Stew’s Picks Edition</title>
 <link>http://feedproxy.google.com/~r/MNetwork/~3/axRuI4dlBzA/</link>
<description>Here are some articles that Mrs. Stew liked this week:
Think Your Way to Wealth wrote about the challenges of living on one income. There are challenges, but also blessings to having a parent at home all day . . .
This article might be a hint from Mrs. Stew &amp;#8211; Borrow from None wrote about lesson six in the Financial Peace University: Buyer Beware. I could probably do a better job in that area sometimes.
Mrs. Stew enjoyed the discussion about money itself from Aristotles perspective posted ...

<title>Cash Money Life: Netflix Review – To Netflix or Not to Netflix?</title>
 <link>http://feedproxy.google.com/~r/MNetwork/~3/JnPKlxRgJSE/</link>
<description>After a long hiatus from the online DVD rental game, my wife and I signed up for a Netflix trial and became subscribers again. Why? Because they offer the best value of all the online DVD rental companies and make a great substitute for renting movies from a brick and mortar store, buying movies, subscribing to premium movie channels, or even dropping cable or satellite TV altogether.
Netflix Review
As I&amp;#8217;m sure you already know, Netflix pioneered the DVD rental by mail business with unlimi...

 <title>Moolanomy: What Counts As a Tax Deduction?</title>
 <link>http://feedproxy.google.com/~r/MNetwork/~3/wG-o3Fgk7n0/</link>
<description>Understanding the many tax deductions can be nothing short of a minefield, and many taxpayers are unaware of the many deductions that can be used to legally reduce your tax bill. This article highlights just a few of the tax deductions that you can claim if your circumstances lend themselves.
Standard Deductions
A standard deduction varies depending on your filing status, age and whether or not you are registered blind. As of 2009, a single individual can claim a standard deduction of $5,700, wh...

<title>Being Frugal: This Christmas Give Presence</title>

<description>No, that’s not a typo in the title.  This Christmas, instead of giving presents, give presence.  That’s the message the people behind the Advent Conspiracy want you to hear.
Click here to view the embedded video.
Let’s make this a Christmas where we all worship fully, spend less, give more, and love all.  That’s my goal this year.  Less stuff, more worship.

<title>Cash Money Life: Pros and Cons of Rewards Checking Accounts</title>
 <link>http://feedproxy.google.com/~r/MNetwork/~3/a8z5MHYQxEw/</link>
<description>As you have probably noticed, interest rates have plummeted over the last two years. Not long ago it was easy to find saving account interest rates in the 4-5% range, and CD rates slightly higher than that. Right now the best savings accounts are offering interest rates just under 2%, which is a far cry from what many people were used to. To take the place of the high rates that were so commonplace a year ago, many banks are now offering high interest checking accounts &amp;#8211; some with interest...
