In almost all the blog templates ,the header of the blog is fixed means you can not move it ,though you can delete it but can not drag it to side bar and moreover you can not add widgets to your header either by drag & drop or by add a widget option .

Dear friends what I am going to tell you that all most 60 % of Ad revenue from google comes from the header's ads ,if you can check on my main blog simple tax india ,I have placed two link ads 728 X15 and one ad unit of Google 728 X 15 in header ,I have earned 33% ads from two link units and from other ad unit 23 %.The reason of this is, link units are appers to be web site navigation links and visitors generall click it with a intent to browse the site but it ends with a bucks for me ,though by doing this ,my average page per visit has been very thin.Clicks on two link units in last month 3916 and ad unit in header 1721......that is too good for me .

Google has acquired the Feed burner ,is this a news for you ,no I don't think so even you are also not interested in it but the new is that Google has started its ad services in feeds also ,when I have checked my accounts on 15 August,I have seen Adsense for feeds,and close the FAN Ad network option for feeds in FEED BURNER

To avail this facility you must have "Google Account",if you are using google facilities without Google id means with other email id then u have to migrate to Google account to use Ads in feeds.

To activate AdSense for feeds, sign in to AdSense and then look for the AdSense for feeds link under the AdSense Setup » Get Ads tab. All feed ad setup and ad performance reporting features may now be found in AdSense.

To start monetizing your feeds you can go with two option

If you have not burn your feeds already start burn your feeds through feedbuner.google.This account will work with ur google user account id ,no other login required and start promoting new burn feed.
If you already have burning your feeds with Feed burner then you can switch over it with feed burner Google account .The process to migrate your account to new account is not described yet but presently Google is offering it on manual basis,to switch over your account to Google feed burner account send a email to adsense-support-aff@google.com from your Gmail with following details

your Google Adsense account user name
your Feed Burner account user name

and your feed burner account will be transferred to feed burner Google account
