Medea Benjamin, of Activist Group CODE PINK, stands up to White House counterterrorism adviser John Brennan during a press conference about the progress of the war in Afghanistan last week. When Brennan was insinuating that Al Qaeda’s image is badly tarnished around the Muslim world because he claims they’re killing mostly “innocent men, women and children,” Benjamin stood up and challenged him. Benjamin shouted “What about the hundreds of innocent people we are killing with our drone strikes in Pakistan, Yemen and Somalia?” this video is very exciting, but at the same time I fear what they did to her after they removed her from the room. It also pisses me off how he handles her, and if that first lady would’ve grabbed me like that . . she’d be missing a forearm LOL. C.I.A. Director Leon Panetta has admitted that “At most, we’re looking at 50 to 100, maybe less. It’s in that vicinity.”, casualties on occasion. (source) That very same weekend, Brennan appeared ABC News’ This Week to further defend the U.S. murder of innocent civilians with drone strikes:

‘Unfortunately, in war, there are casualties, including among the civilian population,’ Brennan said on ABC News ‘This Week,’ answering a question about the covert drone program. U.S. missile attacks in Pakistan, Yemen and elsewhere are not officially acknowledged by the administration but are frequently discussed indirectly. ‘We’ve done everything possible in Afghanistan and other areas to reduce any risk to that civilian population,’ he continued. ‘Unfortunately, Al Qaeda burrows within these areas, you know, safe havens as well as areas where there are civilians, but we’ve been very, very judicious in working with our partners to try to be surgical in terms of addressing those terrorist threats. ‘Sometimes you have to take life to save lives,’ Brennan added, ‘and that’s what we’ve been able to do to prevent these individual terrorists from carrying out their murderous attacks.’ (Source)

What upsets me more than anything is it will always come back to 9/11. the american public pays no mind to what happens to anyone we attack because to them, it is retribution for a false flag attack that at this point, its truths will never be explored.

3 killed as human sacrifices in Mexico

Mexico City (CNN) — Authorities in the northern Mexican state of Sonora have arrested eight people accused of killing two boys and one woman as human sacrifices for Santa Muerte — the saint of death — officials said Friday.

The victims, two of whom were age 10, were killed and their blood was offered at an altar to the saint, according to Jose Larrinaga, spokesman for state prosecutors. The accused were asking the saint, who is generally portrayed as a skeleton dressed in a long robe and carrying a scythe, for protection, he said.

Santa Muerte is a favorite among criminals and the country’s drug traffickers. The saint, though not recognized by the Catholic Church, has taken off in popularity in recent years.

Details of the case were laid out in a statement from the Sonora State Investigative Police (PEI), which described the cult as a “Satanic sect.”

The first of the three victims was allegedly killed in 2009; the last this month. Their bodies were found in the small mining community of Nacozari de Garcia, some 155 miles (250 kilometers) north of Hermosillo, the state capital.

Many of the accused belong to the same family and one is just 15 years old, the PEI said. Authorities said they began looking into the case when one of the victim’s families reported him missing.

“Nothing like this has ever happened before in the state of Sonora. And it’s not something we’re going to allow,” said Guillermo Padres Elias, state governor.
