Sorry for the delay in answering your questions... life has a funny way of changing plans.

There are some minor differences between Protestants and Catholics. Basically, a Protestant is a branch from Catholicism. There are some differences, but they read out of the same Bible. Check out Protestant Reformation.

Judaism is the old Jewish religion. Most are still awaiting for Jesus to come the first time.

Free Masons are not about "religion." Although, they are rumored to be.

I looked it over... I had a hard time following your thoughts in the blog. I am unsure of exactly what you are trying to say.

One thing I try to do is divide it into sections to help the thought flow. It helps make it clear what I have to say.

But overall, I haven't found too much that could be considered "hate mail." Is it here? or via email? At least I didn't see anything here:

Thanks for the brief explanation.. Can you explain the term in Protestant and Catholic? What is the difference between them? How about Judaism? I know its for Jewish roughly. Is there any relation between? How about FreeMason? Its well-known in the middle 15th. The knights of the templar, which is started by the French, Englishmen, Scottish by the priest of the Italian. Sooner, its grown further in group of the Germans, Portuguese, Russians and lot of European continents.. What does make those FreeMason become wealthy and powerful? Sorry again for the lot of question? Do you mind to answer?

Secondly (removing my moderation hat here, my views do not reflect those of Entrecard, it's members, or the rest of the staff): As an Atheist and a former Christian/Christian Minister I have to say that My own personal Atheistic life is almost like a religion...yep, I said it....

For some it is simply a denial of god, or a lack of belief in god, and that i would say is definitely not a religion....it is, by my own personal understanding, a complete and total lack of religion and belief...

personally though, I actively believe that God is a lie...I try to explain that and more or less spread that information and the story of my deconversion to believers and non-believers because I believe it to be beneficial to mankind (much like you witness to people)...i guess it makes me kind of an Evangelical Atheist... So the NeoAtheist movement (Sam Harris, Richard Dawkins etc) may not want to admit it, but to me they very much seem like semi-religious groups .... or at least they uphold some sort of belief...

but are we dogmatic...probably not...but you can look at it from so many different perspectives and see it so many different ways

Erm.. ok.. Thanks for your brief explanation.. But, do you think Harold Catholic is one of the Christian or just a concept of knowledge in theory? Did they do like most of Christians do? Like Christian themselves, there are two most common part of it, the Catholic and the Protestant. What is the difference between them? How about FreeMason? What is Judaism in Christian knowledge?

The Herald - The Catholic Weekly Online is a new one for me. I am not Catholic. Basically, I am uneducated as far as the Catholics beliefs. My wife was raised Catholic. She believes everything that I do.

I am also uneducated with the Muslim faith. Therefore, I know very little about Allah. I have heard the comments that they are two different names for the same god. I do suppose that is possible. I do not know. I do suppose that the extremist are giving them a bad name. But, it is not my place to judge either of them.

The "Holy Book," (the Bible) is indeed split into two sections, the Old and New Testaments. The reason for the divisions is when they are written.

The Old Testament was written before the birth of Jesus. It contains much valuable information about his family tree. His family line was a line of good people up to Him.

It also contains many prophecies about his birth, life and death. Most of them have been fulfilled as He walked the Earth.

It has been passed on for an untold number of years. It was held and maintained by the Jewish people.

The New Testament contains many accounts of the birth, life and death of Jesus. This can be seen by the first four books of the New Testament. They are written by different Apostles.

Most of the rest of the New Testament are Epistles, or letters written by the people who knew Jesus (in one form or another) and are usually written to a newly formed church to guide them. That is why they are a valuable resource to teach us about what Jesus taught us.

My question is, which one is "God" for Christian? As from what I've read from Wikipedia, The first known usage of the term Χριστιανός (christianos) can be found in the New Testament in Acts 11:26: "the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch." The name Christian was first used to denote those known to be teachers or leaders of the church (saints). They were disciples and followers of Jesus Christ. The other two New Testament uses of the word also refer to the public identity of those who follow Jesus. The Jewish king said the Apostle Paul had almost persuaded the king "to become a Christian" (Acts 26:28). Writing in 1 Peter 4:16, The Message translation, the Apostle Peter encouraged believers who are abused "because you're a Christian, don't give it a second thought. Be proud of the distinguished status reflected in that name!"

In the other word, Christianity (from the word Xριστός "Christ") is a monotheistic religion[1] centered on the life and teachings of Jesus as presented in the New Testament.[2]

Why do the Holy Book, have 2 different version? Old and New Testament? Correct me if I'm wrong.. Does the New Testament written someone other than Jesus Christ? Can it be considered as Holy Book if someone touch it other than Jesus Christ?

-- No, the Monroe Doctrine, as far as I know is not a religion. It was the name of a written policy of the US Government. Atheism has no written policy or doctrine. That is aside from books and such from persons like Richard Dawkins and (arguably) Madalyn Murray O'Hair.

I know Kaufman vs McCaughty. Essentially, they're saying that because atheism has an opinion on religion and it's subjects, then it "qualifies as Kaufman's religion for purposes of the First Amendment claims he is attempting to raise." By that standard, Nazis are a Jewish organization for it has opinions about Jews.

Oh yeah, I also found an interesting case brought before the US Supreme Courts regarding Atheism and Religion.
