National Business Awards Names MVF Finalist for Scale Up Business of the Year

This morning the National Business Awards announced the list of companies in the running for their prestigious awards and named MVF finalist in the Smith and Williamson Scale Up Business of the Year category. Described as “the Oscars of great British business” by David Cameron, former Prime Minister, the National Business Awards celebrate the best of British enterprise, with an emphasis on excellence, innovation and ethical business.

MVF CEO Titus Sharpe has been shortlisted for ‘CEO of the Year’ at the UK Private Business Awards 2016, making it into the list of just six entrants in the running for the prize. The awards attracted more applicants than ever, with 2,200 companies submitting for categories.

What better way to spend a tumultuous day in British politics than in the middle of the woods, listening to inspiring talks with no internet signal? That is how MVF staff spent their Friday, and it was certainly a day to remember. In celebration of this year’s performance and as a welcome-party for our USA office who had flown over, MVF took over some beautiful woods in the Hertfordshire countryside for a day of talks, merriment and company bonding.

US Office Comes to Visit

It’s an exciting start to the summer here at MVF. The team from MVF’s US office in Austin, Texas, have come to visit us and we’re giving them a Great British welcome (British weather included!) For many of the team it’s their first visit to MVF’s Imperial Works headquarters and we want to show them how we get down in Kentish Town.

MVFer Named Winner At The WeAreTheCity Rising Stars Awards

MVF is thrilled to announce that sales academy member Babs Ofori-Acquah, has been named a winner for the WeAreTheCity Rising Stars in Technology award.

A panel of 21 independent judges decided on the finalists which received over 28,000 public votes from over 112 countries.

The awards, which are now in their second year and celebrate high achieving women under management level, attracted a staggering 850 applicants from across the UK.

MVF's International Pub Quiz

Last night MVF’s Imperial Works headquarters turned into a gastro pub to host an international pub quiz. The Kitch Inn (geddit?) had an amazing spread of pizza, home-made slow cooked pulled pork and a cheese board fit for kings.

The quiz is said to be one of the most challenging to date. Everyone knows MVFers are data-obsessed so to test their love for numbers, our social committee included a difficult maths round that was not for the faint hearted.
