In this episode, I talk about my experiment with Keyword Canine. I explain how Josh gave me a keyword at random for a farm tool. I just registered the domain and I created a small site. I am already getting a nice steady stream of organic traffic.

As promised, here are the traffic stats.

I walk through everything that I did in to create the site in the episode. As of today, the site has made about $8.00

Affiliate Marketing With Pintrest

I review a great article about Pintrest in Lynn Terry's blog. Pintrest is a photo-based wishboard social networking site. It's growing really fast. Is it the next facebook? Hard to tell, but if you get on top if these social media sites before they explode, you can really ride the wave. Great article worth a read.

Selling Chocolate.

I mention how Loretta Oliver (my transcriptionist and friend at http://www.teleseminarstranscribed.com) told me that she wanted to hear about chocolate on the podcast. So, in this episode, I talk about how you can sell anything on the internet (including chocolate.) I can't eat chocolate right now (on a diet), but we can talk about it. There are lots of searches for Chocolate. You could look for long-tail keywords and build a niche website. Cool, eh?

Syndicating your content.

Thinking about taking the article you just wrote for you blog and posting elsewhere on the web? I don't think you should do that, and I discuss why in this part of the show.

It’s been a while since the last podcast.

Was i freaked out by the number 13?

According to Wikipedia....

The number 13 is associated with bad luck in some countries, and even has a specifically recognizedphobia, Triskaidekaphobia, a word which was coined in 1911.Friday the 13th has been considered an unlucky day since the 1800s, as a combination between an unlucky day, Friday, and the number 13. Another theory as to why the date and number 13 is considered unlucky is that, on the day of Friday the 13th after the final Crusade the pope had sent out men to capture and burn alive the last 13Knights Templar in order to put an end to the Crusades.

A second theory links the bad luck associated with the number 13 with Jesus Christ's last supper where the persons around the table, counting the Christ and the twelve apostles, was, indeed, thirteen. This would also be the reason why it is considered unlucky to have 13 guests at a table.

Another theory states that the number 13 is unlucky because, when in years where there were 13 full moons instead of 12, it made it difficult for the monks who were in charge of the calendars. "This was considered a very unfortunate circumstance, especially by the monks who had charge of the calendar of thirteen months for that year, and it upset the regular arrangement of church festivals. For this reason thirteen came to be considered an unlucky number."[4]
