China's Human Flesh Search Engine at Work again: Who is the mysterious beauty at Obama'speech?

On Nov 16, President Obama delivered at speech at China's Shanghai Technology and Science Center in front of many Chinese. However, what seemed to catching more interest than Obama's speech was one particular beauty sitting in the audience, wearing a black outfit and red jacket.

This unknown girl has become quite popular on the internet for her beauty and has triggered China's Human Flesh Search engine to seek out her identity.

She was praised by a netizen as reminding him of the movie "Lust, Caution"'s main actress, "Tang Wei"

Some people noticed after Obama's speech that this young woman was not shy about shaking Obama's hand and looked directly at Obama with a calm demeanor.

Speculation and rumours surround this black-clothed lady, with some people claiming that she is related to the famous actress, Fan Bing Bing and others believing she is working with the police for the event.

A netizen posted a photo of a girl in white that he claimed was a picture of the black-clothed beauty taken in the Shanghai Transportation University, where he believes she is a student. Others analysed the photographs and disagreed that she was a student saying that her demeanor at the event was too calm and mature to be a student.

I came across an post in a Chinese forum that listed the East Asian female celebrities who died in 2009. Each of the starlets died way before their time. Hopefully, they have now found peace wherever they are.

Listed in chronological order according to their death dates:

1. February 20, 2009 - Pan Xing Yi (潘星谊)

Pan Xing Yi was not yet very famous when she passed away. An actress from China, she filmed most of her movies and tv series from there.

On that fateful day of February 20, 2009, Pan Xing Yi was at home when she slipped and broke the fish aquarium. The glass from the tank shattered and pierced her artery, causing almost immediate death.

A notable incident occurred between Deric Wan, the famous Hong Kong celebrity and actor, and Pan Xing Yi back in January 13, 2009. In order to promote a new haristyle chain of salons of which Deric owned shares, Deric staged a pretend wedding with Pan Xing Yi as his "bride". The papparzi at that time were going crazy with speculation on his love life.

March 7, 2009 - Jang Ya Yun (27 years old)

Jang Ya Yun (张紫妍 in Chinese Characters), was a Korean Actress. She was still in the process of filming that Korean television series version of Hana Yori Dango, when she chose to commit suicide. She had hung herself at home. It appeared that she was experience alot of pressure and stress which caused her depression.

March 14, 2009 - Li Yu (33 years old)

Li Yu was known for her character of "Fang Yu" in the hit drama, "Romance in the Rain". She had died of lymphoma cancer in Beijing after being in a coma for 16 days.

April 6, 2009 - Ah Sun (阿桑) (34 years old)
Another victim of cancer, the Taiwanese singer, Ah Sun died after fighting a losing battle with breast cancer.

Sept 11, 2009 - Felicia Tang (31 years old)
Felicia Tang was a Singaporean born model who lived and worked in California. She was known for her work in Playboy TV as well as modeling.

She was murdered by her live-in boyfriend.

October 31, 2009 - Chen Lin (陈琳) (39 years old)

Chen Lin committed suicide by jumping to her death from the 9th floor of the Dongba Olympic Garden building. It's believed that she was depressed over her relationships with her ex-husband and her current husband. Chen Lin was incredibly famous in China and her death headlined the front page of Chinese newspapers for weeks.

November, 2009 - Daul Kim (22 years old)

Daul Kim was a rising model of Korean descent who walked the runways of London, Milan, New York and Paris. She had hung herself in her Paris apartment.

Unbelievable: Ex-Category three actress Loletta Lee is 44 years old and is as Sexy as ever!

Sexy School Uniforms: Are the Female University Student Uniforms too Sexy For Thailand?

The Nation has reported recently that Thailand is clamping down on two of the top Universities for their female students' sexy uniforms.

The uniforms are not meant to be sexy. If worn the correct size and length, they look like any office lady day wear - white buttoned shirts and knee length skirts. The problem,however, is that the female students have taken to ordering their shirts a size (or two, or three) smaller and shortening their skirts to just inches below the nether regions.

This girl's pictures are making the rounds in Chinese Internet forums. She's praised for being sweet-looking and resembling Hong Kong singer/actress, Fiona Sit.

She does look pretty cute and innocent, doesn't she?

She's got the pale skin and big eyes that many Asians appreciate.

What's her secret for being so popular with netizens? Apparently, she's a guy and has been entering competitions for international cosplay titles (I didn't even know there were such competitions).

In Japan, males who crossdress like female anime/manga characters are called Nisemusume。 The Kanji characters for Nisemusume are "偽娘". These two characters can also be read in Chinese and are pronouced in pinyin as wei2 niang2. "偽" means fake and "娘" means mother or young lady. "偽娘" is borrowed from the Japanese term for describing this young man and definitely fits him well.
