Looking out of the sunroom window I found this hawk getting it's dinner too. I crept out to the front patio to take a picture.

The beefsteak only gave me four huge tomatoes, although there are plenty of flowers on the vine, I don't think I'll get much more <img src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/MaasLifeJournal/~4/0n_aonsszF4" height="1" width="1"/>

Can you find the cat?

<img src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/MaasLifeJournal/~4/g_yucc7OKoI" height="1" width="1"/>

A quick hello.

The back garden is finished. See how the 'mess' has disappeared in the background.There's been no sign of anymore snakes and it's a pleasure to walk around in the garden once more.The flowers are finally showing around the birdbath. All the seeds I planted didn't germinate. I think it was too hot. The daisies are loving the postition. That's what gardening is all about .... trial and error.

I've been waking up to this every morning. I can see the days are getting shorter again because it's dark when I wake now and I've been watching the leaves start to fall from the trees in the garden. Autumn ( fall- for my northern friends) is just around the corner. I've been trying to take advantage of the mornings to get a few things done while it's cool.
Sunday I had a little accident <img src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/MaasLifeJournal/~4/33-zzGkseGw" height="1" width="1"/>

Gardening

Jo spent a day with me- gardening. Lopping and trimming, making sure we can see under everything.

Well it's now all gone. If it decides to visit again ....it will be very disappointed. I feel better that it's gone as I've been worried about that area for quite a while.

All the shrubbery behind this area is all gone.
