Hello. Five days ago I was playing Minecraft with two other people on LAN. I do this often without any problems. I monitor my temperature with iStat Pro and check on it every so often while playing Minecraft and it normally is 170-180ºF at the CPU (everything else is lower).

Anyway while I was playing I noticed a significant fps drop so I restarted Minecraft but the problem persisted. I checked the temperature and it was around 210º! I quickly quit Minecraft and put my Mac Mini in sleep mode, but I noticed a terrible electronic burning smell. I left it for about 45 minutes then came back and shut it down and unplugged it. It was still working fine, but the smell was still there. Later that day I plugged it back in and turned it on and it worked fine, but it still smelled bad. I shut it down and unplugged it again.

Now it's been 5 days and if I smell the back vent or open the cover on the bottom (by untwisting it) I still find that terrible smell. I can't see anything wrong with it, and I didn't notice any weird sounds. Should I try turning it on again?

Hi guys,

0 posts right here, but I read a couple of threads on MF earlier and it looked like this could be the right place to ask for help.

What I'm trying to do, is to remap/swap some keys around from the standard Persian keyboard layout that came pre-installed. I have tried doing so with Ukulele, and no matter how or where I save the layout file - it just won't appear under "Input Sources" in my system settings. The location I used when saving the files was Library - Keyboard Layouts.

I'm on a 13" Macbook Air and I'm running Mountain Lion (OS X 10.8.2).

So this is what I have tried so far:

- Tried saving it as a normal keyboard layout file, but it won't appear under input sources.

- Tried saving it as a so called "bundle", but it won't appear under input sources.

- (Followed Apples own guide on this issue Mac OS X Leopard: Keyboard Viewer, Character Palette does not appear) I opened up Terminal, and

I did sudo rm /System/Library/Caches/com.apple.IntlDataCache*

and then

sudo rm /var/folders/*/*/-Caches-/com.apple.IntlDataCache*

When I tried the Terminal commands, it said "no such file or directory found".

Thank you for reading this far - does anyone know what I should do?

I'm in desperate need of making these key swaps, if anyone has another solution (doesn't need to involve Ukulele) I will gladly try that too.

A million thanks in advance,
Joe

I have deleted my account with Google Plus, which included removing my access to all their "services", including Google Drive. Unfortunately, I had downloaded the G. Drive app for my mac mini, and it activates when I start up the computer each day. When I attempt to send it to the trash I get a message that it is open and can't be trashed; nothing appears to allow me to close it, and I haven't been able to find any way to close it on my own. I tried Google's help info but it assumes I still have the Google Drive in my tool menu, which I don't. I tried disconnecting my mac from the network, but it still behaves the same. At this point I'm really sorry I ever got entangled with Google. Can anyone help me get this app removed? Please?
When I clicked on the SD icon on the desktop, it showed the images had transferred. However, when I inserted the SD card back into my Nikon AW100 camera, the images were not indicated on the card and therefore unable to be viewed. Do I need to use a card reader inserted in to a USB drive? If so, that seems unnecessarily redundant for such a sophisticated computer such as this. What am I missing?

So I've become a bit of a podcast junkie over the last few years; and it's started to bleed into my gaming. I find I have a lot of fun turning the in-game audio to mute or very low. Problem is when a podcast ends, I then have to either minimalize the game (if it's not in fullscreen) or exit fullscreen. I do have the remote app on my iPhone, and that's a little better. I do however prefer the way I have my podcasts arranged in iTunes.

So my question is pretty simple, using iTunes 11.0.3, how do you que up multiple podcasts? Is there any way for me to add a few podcasts to a que and have them basically lead into eachother rather then having me manually play the next one? I noticed with music now you can do this, but I'm not too sure if I can do this with podcasts. I have yet to discover it, if a method exists.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
