When I clicked on the SD icon on the desktop, it showed the images had transferred. However, when I inserted the SD card back into my Nikon AW100 camera, the images were not indicated on the card and therefore unable to be viewed. Do I need to use a card reader inserted in to a USB drive? If so, that seems unnecessarily redundant for such a sophisticated computer such as this. What am I missing?

Suddenly today Skype won't work for me. I've found out that's because my OS is 10.5.8 and the newest Skype won't run on this. I've downloaded the older version of Skype from several different sources but still no good. I finally gave up on Skype and went to gmail where you can download a plugin called Hangout and video chat that way. Hangout tells me in system requirements that it should work but I get a message saying Hangouts doesn't support video calls on this version of Mac OS. Is there any way to video chat with my friend who has a newer Mac besides Skype? I don't have an iPhone because can't afford the extra monthly billing for internet connec. Just getting along with my iMac. Thanks!

Google bought out NIK and offered the entire suite for free to previous customers of NIK who nought any of the 6 modules over the past 5 years. Hard to beat that deal as that represents $600 worth of free goodies. They are also selling the entire suite right now for $149 to new customers.

Feel free to use the posted pic as wallpaper on your computers. If you need a bigger file I can provide it for free. I shot this photo with a D800 so the original file is huge and extremely sharp. Enjoy!

I then import the photos to iPhoto. Once in iPhoto, I delete the desktop folder with all the images.

Here's the rub: once I delete the folder on my desktop, the images I just imported show in iPhoto, but will not open "cannot find file". The only way I can do anything with these photos in iPhoto is if Ieave the images in the folder.

ideally, I'd like to rename, import to iPhoto and delete the folder from which they came.

The reason I ask is I am stuck using Leopard with my 2.5 Quad G5 and I have many RAW files I would like to be able to view on it from my Nikon D3100. Thanks.
