iPad photos into a folder on my MacBookPro ?

Hi All, iPhoto and iTunes does a very good job at isolating us/me from the hard work of managing our Photos. I often think it stops me doing what i really want to do with my Photos.

I CANNOT figure out how to get the Photos in my iPads Camera Roll onto my MacBookPro IN A FOLDER !!.

WITHOUT using iPhoto or iTunes, is it at all possible PLEASE ?.

changing apple ID on iPhone

I recently changed my apple ID on my mac to reflect my name change, however I cannot change it on my iphone. I continue to get pop up message wanting me to enter my password for the obsolete apple ID and when I enter what I think the password is it is incorrect. I have tried to reset it, use security questions (which can't authenticate me), have called apple four times and spent countless hours on the phone. I am at a loss as to how to change this on my phone. I would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks

am running IOS 6 on iphone 4
after a lot of searching I found just 2 apps out there that are stable and can play youtube vidoes that I downloaded for offline viewing
- yxflash - that app crashes now and often and has a very rudimentary playlist (you cannot save playlist - all you can do is just create ones on fly - and its a tedious effort )
- yxplayer - that is a more stable app but - it needs the data to be in its own directory. There is No playlist management BOMK
I am looking for some app out there - I dont care where I get it from the worm ( Cydia ) or the apple ( app store ) that has these features

<> Playlist mmg - create and save playlists ( save as in a playlist file )
<> It can traverse the Linux directory hierarchy - so there is no need to save data in "pet" directories
<> can play flv videos besides the rest
<> has a folder based auto playlist create approach . That means it plays songs vidoes etc per folder by automatically creating playlists for that folder.

There are excellent apps out there on android land that can do this .

Anything for iphone ?

Remote App not functioning

About 2 years ago I had a 3GS and used it to remotely control itunes on my 2009 Macbook using my iPhone. All worked fine nice and easy and havent used it since.

Last week I decided to download the Remote app on my iPhone5 and it wont work with my macbook. Both are on the same wifi network, fire wall switched off, both itunes on my macbook and remote app on my phone are up to date. Itunes doesnt pick up my device to allow remote access. Only difference with laptop now is that I upgraded os to Snow Leopard. Any ideas?

mobile theatre

i have jail broken iPod touch; after installing mobile theatre from cydia & installing all required apps: dtunes, safari download plugin, etc
when i open any TV shows or any other any other movie types( movie types movie now in cinema , movie starting with letters etc) only advertisement appears unlike as shown as in youtube videos of movie names and download options

hey guys, with the new ios 7 betas out, I want to install it on my ipod touch 4 but it is currently unsupported so i was wondering whether you can install ipod touch 5 software onto ipod touch 4 somehow?

Any ideas on how i can get ios 7 on my ipod touch 4?

PDF Reader for iPad with good scrolling

Hi everyone

I am also searching for a PDF Reader with more sophisticated scrolling.

I am a singer/solo performer with guitar. I want all my repertoire to be stored on my iPad and readable during performance while I am playing, i.e. hands-free.

Songs with backing tracks are no problem as I have found a plug-in to iTunes that allows me to turn my MP3 backings into karaoke files, with chord symbols inserted into the text.

BUT my big problem is those with no backtrack. I want to display my vocal lead sheets as PDF's and since some of them are 2 or more pages, I need to PDF to scroll. Continuous scrolling would of course be nice, but the bottom line is the scroll SPEED. I need to (1) be able to have a speed control for the scrolling, and (2) I need to be able to save a different speed setting for each file, as every song has a its' own tempo.

Now there's a challenge! Does anyone know of a reader that can do this, or can a software designer improve their product to include these features? I have no doubt it is possible.

There IS a PDF reader by Kdan Mobile Sofware that scrolls and has a speed control. However it is not continuous, and it's "one speed fits all", which is no use to me.

I obviously also need to be able to read in full screen mode.

Dual iTune accounts

I have two iTune accounts. First one I use all the time. Second one not so much. In fact I have forgotten the login and password for the second one.

I got two accounts because once, back when I first started with this I had trouble loging in. I thought I needed to set up a new account so I did. I downloaded a couple of apps under the second login.

Then everything seemed to be fine and my first logon worked again so I have been using it ever since.

Now, when I download updates for my apps it will not download the updates to two apps that, apparently, I downloaded under the second logon It tells me that I do not own the apps.

I have contacted the iTunes people and they tell me that they cannot merge the two accounts. The Account Security people shrug their shoulders and seem to want to ignore me.

So, how do I get the two apps transferred to my first account so I can get the updates without having to pay for them again. One was fairly expensive (EA's Scrabble).

I have a problem. I have an iPad which was purchased for me to use at my work. I am a teacher and at first they had it set up to be totally controlled. So if I needed an app, even a free one I had to give them the iPad and they would download them.

As we started getting more teachers using them they understood how unworkable this is. So they have allowed us to take control and trust in out professionalism. So I am trying to get apps and I have found that they originally removed the App Store icon and app from the iPad.

I need to download Pages and some other things as well as some of the excellent free education apps, but at this point I can not do it.

My school computer has been turned in for updating so I can not sync it at this point. I do not want to sync it to my home computer because I have kids and there are a bunch of kids games that I do not want on my work iPad.

New problem, at least for me

Recently most of my forums I play on from FB and even G Mail will not hold my login name or pass word on my I pad. To clarify a little more, it is logging on from safari bookmarks primarily but even to click on a FB notification in email, I have to log on to FB again.
Is there a solution to this???
Or is it they want me to use only Apps to log on to my favorite sites?

iPad Facebook app, Favorites

I've been having a frustrating 'ol time episodically, trying to figure out how to manage the Favorites list of FB Chat on the iPad. There is a remarkable dearth of relevant information out there! Today however, I managed to achieve my aim -probably quite inelegantly -but effectively.

If you have an iPhone, you probably have the FB app on that also. On the iPhone, FB chat allows one ability that the iPad app does not: it allows you to edit your Favorites list. On the iPhone then, click on edit beside Favorites. You'll quickly see how to add, delete and reorder your Favorites within that list; make whatever changes you wish and click Done.
Back on your iPad then, you'll see that nothing has changed. No problem. In the main menu (on the Left) simply scroll to the bottom, select Logout, wait a few seconds, then log back in. In just a few seconds, you'll see your newly rearranged and fully edit Favorites list reappear, exactly as you arranged it on your iPhone. Job done.

Hope that's of help to anyone that has suffered a similar (albeit minor!) frustration ;-)

Bluetooth remote for iPhone5?

I was wondering if there is an app or a way to connect to my MacbookPro to control my iTunes via Bluetooth? I play music through speakers at my workplace via the iTunes on my Macbook, and the computer is high up on top of some display shelves, so its not easy to go change the song on the computer. I've looked at a lot of remote control apps, but they are all used over wifi, and I don't have wifi at my work, so I would like to know if there is a way to control iTunes with my iPhone5 over Bluetooth instead. I haven't been able to find a reasonable answer to this question on any forum yet. Please help.~~
