iCal with Google Calendar

I’m using google calendar but sometime I can’t access online. So, I also using ical with iPad and iPhone. However, iCal can’t sync my home and office computer. So, I have a only way to use iCal with Google Calendar.

How to use Google Calendar with iCal

Go to the iCal > Preferences > Account.

Click on the plus and then choose the google account. After that Enter your email and password.

You will receive the google calendar but it can access only one calendar. If you want to add other calendar from Google , go to Delegation and check your calendar.

ဒီ App က image နဲ့ PDF တွေကို convert လုပ်တဲ့အခါမှာ အလွန်အံဝင်ခွင်ကျ ဖြစ်တယ်။ အသုံးပြုရတာလွယ်ကူပြီးတော့ Macbook Gesture, Magic Mouse နဲ့ compatible ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ Animation ဖြစ်တဲ့ Gif format တွေကိုလည်း အသုံးပြုလို့ရပါတယ်။ ဓာတ်ပုံ Format မျိုးစုံဖွင့်လို့ရပြီး .pdf တွေပါ အသုံးပြုလို့ရတယ်လို့သိရပါတယ်။ ဓာတ်ပုံ Thumbnail တွေကြည့်ရှုနိုင်ပြီး PDF တွေကို Lock and Unlock ပြုလုပ်လို့ပါရပါတယ်။ Requirements က တော့ Mac OS X 10.6.6 ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

Game Salad ဆိုတဲ့ App က Mac အတွက်ဖြစ်ပြီး iPhone,iPod Touch နဲ့ iPad game တွေကို develop လုပ်ချင်တဲ့သူတွေအတွက်ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

Programming, Coding တစ်ခုမှသိစရာမလိုပါဘူး။ Functions တွေ Character တွေက App အထဲမှာပါပြီးသားပါ၊ Graphic တွေကတော့ ကိုယ့်ဘာသာကိုယ်ဆွဲပြီး Game Level တွေကို လုပ်ရမှာပါ။ ကိုယ်လိုချင်တဲ့ cha

Make Default Font in Adium

Sometime we want to use default font in Adium. We can change default font on display message. But it will not change in text box on chat windows. We can change text box font but it’s only work for one time. We don’t want to change every time. So, you can make like following

1. Format ( Adium Menu ) > Show Font
2. Search Font Name

3. Select Your Font and click
“Save this setting As My Default Font”

Now, you don’t need to change font in your Adium chat textbox.

New Tab instead of windows in Safari

Safari Menu > Preferences>Tabs>Open pages in tabs instead of windows: and change to Always.

other way:

Quit Safari
Open Terminal.app
Enter defaults write

com.apple.Safari TargetedClicksCreateTabs -bool true

and press enter
Open Safari again

Sparrow Mail

Today I tried sparrow mail app. Wow, fantastic. It look like twitter client. We never thought about email is look like twitter. All of the mail app are boring design. Sparrow mail app change our mind. Sparrow mail can only use for gmail now. Of course, you can use with google app mail. There is no SMTP and IMAP function. However, it will be future support. Now,it’s beta 5. If you are gmail user, you must like this app and you will never use again Apple Mail app.

Orientation Lock in iOS

You can lock orientation in iPad easily. But there is no button for orientation lock for iPhone and iPodTouch. However, we wanna lock orientation sometime. If you are using iOS 4.0 or higher , you can do it. Double click the home button and Multitask bar will appear. Scroll to the left and you will see iPod control and orientation button (the first left button).

You will see lock button at the status bar.

If you want to unlock, click lock button again

VLC for iPad

Wow… VLC is coming to iPad. We can watch MKV file on iPad. We can watch most of the video on iPad. That is awesome. We are waiting too long to watch MKV file on iPad. MP4 make a big file for HD movie. So, we can watch HD movie on iPad with VLC.

Boxee

In this day, we are joining TV with our laptop. So, we need a media center application for our laptop. Front Row is not a good app for media center and online movie. Boxee is a great for media center. We can watch most the the movie file type. We can watch youtube and many others. Of course , we can watch movie from facebook that share from friend. We can also subscribe some channel or some movie website.

If we don’t have a apple remote , don’t worry you can make remote with your iPhone , iPodTouch. Boxee have many application and you watch from internet channel. One nice feature is we can browser file with boxee. That is great. We use external HD with boxee. If you use Boxee, you need to login. That is a bad for no internet country or place.
