James finished another one of the Lawrence parks and rec gymnastics classes today. They have limited classes for young boys so he’s taken this gymnastics class more than once.

Ada has also been enjoying a ballet class and a swimming class. Although she has some trouble in the final class sessions when they are to perform in front of all of the parents. She likes to ham it up in front of small audiences, but I think she may get a little intimidated in front of a full room.

Here is a very short video of Ada riding on the mechanical horse at HyVee. This was taken right after Ada had gotten out of gymnastics class, so she is still sporting her sports attire.

Jumping Ada

We took the kids for some play time at the Lawrence Gymnastics Academy this past weekend. They always have a fun time there playing on the trampoline, bouncy castle, and on the tumble mats. I was able to get a video of Ada jumping from the trampoline into the foam pit. She was a little scared at first, but she really enjoyed it and continued to jump a few more times after realizing that it wasn’t very scary.

Ada’s On A Boat

This is a picture of Ada driving Grandpa Jim’s boat. Ada had a great time and especially enjoyed honking the bit horn. Both of the kids have taken pretty well to the lake. They still whine a little when we make them put on their life jackets, but they very much enjoy floating in the water.
