The Big House Foundation is proud to present this 37th Anniversary celebration of the historic

Grant's Lounge

at 576 Poplar Street. The cake cutting will feature Ed Grant, Jr. and Sister Cheryll. Macon's Bartender of the Year, Jeff Payne, will be behind the bar for the "Happy Hippy Hour", and there'll be a showing of special video footage from the rock'n'roll era at Grant's. The buffet dinner will be prepared by Saralyn Harvey from the Good to Go Restaurant, and the live down home blues is courtesy of Big Mike and The Booty Papa's with special guests. For those who love Macon's legendary music history, it don't get much better than this!

Mid-State Magazine, The 11th Hour, and Go-Round-Town have combined to feature a new interactive website.

James Palmer, of Mid-State Magazine, says," What we hope is it will be a place that people can go and obviously there are a lot of websites, and a lot of great web sites, and place that you can go and get a lot of information. What we hope we do with this is that each one offers something a little different in the case of mid-state its really a very comprehensive newcomers guide that gives you some really good ideas about the area the 11th hour obviously has really good entertainment news in thier audience, and the thing is every audience may be a little different and with go around town, this is something really new and really exciting think for people here and it will give them an opportunity through these links it will give them a pretty good comprehensive view of the region."
