DESCRIPTION

1Password is a password manager that uniquely brings you both security and convenience. It is the only program that provides anti-phishing protection and goes beyond password management by adding web form filling and automatic strong password generation. All your confidential information, including passwords, identities, and credit cards, is kept secure in one secure place using a highly encrypted keychain.
1Password fully supports most web browsers, including Safari, Camino, OmniWeb, DEVONagent, Firefox, Flock, Fluid, and NetNewsWire. All browser extensions share the data stored in the keychain which means you never need to manually copy your passwords between browsers or from the password manager to a browser ever again!

1Password has received numerous awards, including 4.5 mice from Macworld magazine, MacLife Editors pick, and was the Pick of Week on MacBreak Weekly by both Leo Laporte and Merlin Mann.

1Password also has a companion iPhone/iPod touch application available in iTunes App Store.
Once you've tried MacDrive, you'll kick yourself for not installing it sooner. With MacDrive on a Windows PC no longer are Mac disks ignored and unable to be used. MacDrive helps Mac disks act and appear like normal Windows disks. You can drag-and-drop to copy files in either direction, or double-click to open documents directly from Mac disks. MacDrive works with just about anything you can throw at it, including hard drives, CD-R/RW, DVD-R/RW, floppies, iPods, flash drives, Zip, Jaz, MO, DMG virtual disk files and more.

Simplify cross-platform computing
MacDrive takes the guesswork out of sharing files. Whether you are transferring files between home and the office, a class room lab and your dorm room or even on the same computer, MacDrive makes it painless.

In fact, you'll hardly know MacDrive is working. Once installed MacDrive will automatically give you access to any Mac disk you pop into your computer. MacDrive even puts an "apple" icon on the Mac disk, just to keep things clear.

You can access files on the Mac disk just like you would with a Windows formatted disk. Open files from the disk or from within a program. Mac files automatically ge t t he right icons and file name extensions under both Windows and Mac OS. Works great with software from Microsoft, Adobe, FileMaker, Avid, Digidesign, NewTek and more.

Create Mac CDs, DVDs, even format hard drives
Accessing the files is great, but MacDrive doesn't stop there. You can create Mac disks for file transfers and backups using the MacDrive CD/DVD Creator. Need to partition or repair a Mac hard drive? No problem. The MacDrive Disk Manager gives you the power to partition, format, analyze and even repair disks.

MacDrive really does simplify cross-platform computing. If you live in both a PC and Mac world you owe it to yourself to get MacDrive today.

Version 1.4 of the popular guide. This is found to be one of the easiest guides to installing Snow Leopard onto the Dell 10v. Screenshots of various points let you know you're following the tutorial correctly. This version will allow people who purchased the retail SL 10.6.3 upgrade disc to install OSX on their Dell 10v. This version DOES allow the system to run software updates to 10.6.4, and has been found to be pretty stable for most installations. If it does not update properly, there are instructions for fixing the update to run properly.

The fix for correcting the time in Windows has been added to the tutorial.

Probably the best compilation of items that will have the Dell 10v running Mac OS X Snow Leopard in no time at all. Following through this guide generally takes about 4 hours from beginning to having your Dell 10v dual booting Mac SL and Windows. And about half that time if you only want Mac. Some people have taken about 6-8 hours when using XP, and also carefully verifying each step was done properly. The longest amount of time will likely be waiting for the OSs to be installed. Worth the wait.

No Mac system is required to prep any USB drive.

This guide was put together using actual retail OS discs. Snow Leopard is roughly available for $30-USD. There are no OS files in this package.

Items Required:
-Dell 10v
-External USB DVDRW (PC & Mac compatible)
-Blank CDR
-Retail OSX 10.6 disc
-Retail Windows XP, Vista, or Win7 32-bit disc (optional for dual boot)
-128MB USB drive (only required if BIOS needs to be flashed)
-This software package and tutorial.

You can use this guide to either install MacOSX on the Dell 10v alone, or dual boot with Windows. Most of the files you'll require are in this package, too. The only thing not included is a CD/DVD burning software. Anything that can burn a CDR from and ISO should work. I used ImgBurn, which is free.

This is a .rar file with no password.

-Dell 10v OSX Install instructions v1.4 (.pdf format)
-NetbookCD 0.8.3 RC4
-NetbookCD_0.8.3Final
-Netbook Installer 0.8.3 RC3
-Netbook Installer 0.8.4 RC1.app
-A04 BIOS version for Dell 10v *R225278
-USBDOS BIOS flash utility for netbooks

It is possible to follow this process with no other computers, other than the Dell 10v. Just prep the USB drive, burn the CDR, and you're on your way.
- Wrong colors shown in live layers if that layer was not selected.
- Assigning an image source to layer would sometimes not correctly update the preview.
- Resolved potential freeze on selecting/deleting/adding a layer. Note: multithreading remains hard!
- Selecting a custom pixel aspect ratio once again works on all graphics cards. - It used to cause crashes on ATI equiped Macs.
- Rare crash on document close.
- Again, increased stability through better memory management.

OS version: Mac OS X v10.5.8 with QuickTime 7.6.6 installed. Mac OS X v10.6.4 or later with the latest Snow Leopard Graphics Update is strongly recommended.
Jump is a cool utility designed to quickly launch applications,
open documents, or access folders. When there is not enough space
in the Apple Dock, you can use Jump to store an endless number of
items It can be used in conjunction with the Apple Dock or as its
BaseHead is our flagship product for searching and finding your Sound Effects, Music and Audio Files..

It makes it easy to Add and Scan through 1000’s of audio files and then Filter the Results/Audition and transfer directly into your Target App like Nuendo, or copy to a specified directory. Either the whole file or just a small section of the sound file can be spotted directly onto the timeline. Originally we made this program just for ourselves to use and speed up our work, but the BaseHead Project has grown beyond that thanks to the input of hundreds of users.

DEscriptiON

File Juicer is a drag & drop can opener and data archaeologist.
Its specialty is to find and extract images, video, audio or text
from files which are hard to open in other ways.

It finds and extracts: JPEG, JP2, PNG, GIF, PDF, BMP, WMF, EMF,
PICT, TIFF, Flash, Zip, HTML, WAV, AVI, MOV, MP4, MPG, MP3, AIFF,
AU, WMV or text from files which contain data in those formats.

Lossless extraction... File Juicer does't convert the
images/sounds/videos it finds, but saves them unchanged in their
original format if possible. See the manual for details.

This is useful:
if you want to extract the images/sounds/videos from a PDF or
Word document
if you have old files you can no longer open with current
applications,
if you receive emails with attachments you can not open,
if you have corrupt files or databases,
if you have damaged or acidentally erased flash cards for your
digital camera,
if you receive "self extracting" EXE files designed for
Windows,
or if this is just faster than copying and pasting from the
file.

When you have extracted some files - for instance from an
accidentally erased flash card, you can then check that they are
intact with QuickTime Player or convert them with other
applications. For images, checking validity is done by letting
File Juicer generate icons for the files. Then the files with
icons are the ones which are intact.

File Juicer has Automator support so you can save just the
settings you need and use them directly from Finder.

WHAT’S NEW
Version 4.24:
•Added: shortcut for extracting files from Google Chrome and Opera’s caches
REQUIREMENTS
Mac OS X 10.4.11 or later.

MacPilot 4.0.8 MacOSX (UB/k'ed) | 11.3 MB

MacPilot can enable and disable hidden features in Mac OS X, optimize and repair your system, and perform numerous routine maintenance operations with the click of a button!

Pro user or not, you can now increase computer performance with only a few clicks of the mouse. Optimize your network for broadband connectivity, completely customize Apple File Sharing, perform essential maintenance without having to remember mind boggling acronyms, and much more. However, those are just a few of the many reasons why MacPilot is your choice over Cocktail, TinkerTool and Onyx.

Enable the "cut" option in the Finder, disable menu items for security, disable icon caches, set history limits, erase recently used files, prevent your dock from being modified, turn off all system animations, increase the speed at which windows resize, change which format screenshots are taken in, set a default name and location for screenshots, disable a secondary processor, the startup chime, and even change the login window picture. Over 900 features in total!

WHAT'S NEW
Version 4.0.8:
* Bug Fix: Remembers broken login items a bit better, instead of losing them if the file is temporarily missing.
* Bug Fix: Modal dialogs no longer appear in the background when opening more than one at a time.
* Bug Fix: Fixed an issue where dialog boxes would not compute the right text height and may have cropped bits of text.

Final Draft, the number-one selling word processor specifically designed for writing movie scripts, television episodics and stage plays, combines powerful word processing with professional script formatting in one self-contained, easy-to-use package. There is no need to learn about script formatting rules. Final Draft automatically paginates and formats your script to industry standards as you write. Use your creative energy to focus on the content; let Final Draft take care of the style.

What's new:

Scene View
Outline your script ideas and reorder scenes in this high level overview.
With the Scene View you can look at your script from a 5,000 foot view and select, drag and drop one or more scenes to reorganize your ideas as you outline. Insert new scenes easily, and hide or show information important to you such as the scene’s action, title and summary. Scene View also displays a scene’s color so you can quickly identify one scene from another. Print your Scene View or just view it alongside the script. With a double-click you can sync the script to instantly go to any scene you’ve selected in Scene View.

Scene Properties Inspector (SPI)
Add scene titles and colors to track your story lines, characters, etc.
Track data specific to each scene in this new floating pallet such as the scene’s story beats that will eventually make up the action, characters and dialog of the scene. Add and edit your scene’s title such as ‘Villain introduced’, and add color to the scene to help you track elements like storylines, character arcs, and material you need to get back to later. Like the Navigator, the SPI will display the details of whatever scene you’re working on in your script so that you have your summary notes handy as you need them.

Index Cards
Easily outline your story and restructure your script by dragging and dropping multiple scenes at a time.
This improved feature has double-sided cards that display the script’s scene on one side and the summary on the other. The Summary View allows you to enter ideas directly into the index card such as your basic outline, notes, sequence or act markers, comments, locations, blocking... anything you need to build and organize your story. You can also color your Index Cards to help organize themes, character arcs, A and B stories, etc. Select and rearrange multiple cards at once if you need to reorder your scenes or print your Index Cards directly on 3x5 or 4x6 cards for use in the ‘traditional’ way if you want to visualize and organize scenes outside of the application. Double-clicking on a card in Split Panel View will automatically sync the scene selected with your script.

File Format (now XML)
Other software now works seamlessly with the new Final Draft .fdx file format.
Final Draft version 8 has a new file format that we have shared with a number of technology partners to make the writer’s overall experience better. Now you can save to the new Final Draft file format in a variety of products. Your information can then be opened directly in Final Draft with perfect format and structure. No more reformatting in Final Draft and no more re-typing or lost information!

Photomatix Pro 4.0 | Mac Os X | 7 MB

PhotoMatix is a program that photographers can use to solve a perplexing problem.
The problem is shooting good photos where there is a wide variation in contrast within a scene. For example, in a situation where you want to take a photo of a tall building with the sun high up in the sky in the background and a shadow in the foreground, the problem is that there’s no way to set the camera’s exposure controls to expose all the regions in the scene properly in a single shot. In a situation like that, if you set your camera’s exposure controls to properly expose the building, the background will be washed out, but if you set the camera to expose the background properly, the building will be too dark, as will the foreground.

Merge of bracketed photos into HDR (High Dynamic Range)
› Option for automatic image alignment of hand-held shots. Two alignment methods are available, the “by matching features” method corrects for translation, rotation, scaling and perspective.
› Selective deghosting tool for effective removal of “ghosts” in dynamic scenes: users can select ghosted regions with a lasso tool, and change the preferred image taken for each selected region. An option for automatic reduction of ghosting artifacts is also available..
› Option for automatic reduction of chromatic aberrations.
› Option for automatic reduction of noise.
› Reading of exposure information from Exif data.
› Source images can be either 8 bits/channel or 16 bits/channel images, or RAW/DNG files. In the case of RAW files, White Balance and output color space can be adjusted.

HDR image adjustments with Tone Mapping and Exposure Fusion
› Two methods for Tone Mapping: Details Enhancer, based on a local operator, and Tone Compressor, based on a global operator.
› Four methods for Exposure Fusion: Highlights & Shadows – 2 images, Highlights & Shadows – Auto, Highlights & Shadows – Adjust, and Highlights & Shadows – Intensive
› Tone Mapping methods may be applied to single image.
› Dialog with preview for adjusting the following settings:
Details Enhancer: Strength, Color Saturation, Smoothing, Luminosity, Gamma, Black and White Point, Color Temperature, Saturation Highlights, Saturation Shadows, Microcontrast, Micro-smoothing, Highlights Smoothness, Shadows Smoothness and Shadows Clipping.
Tone Compressor: Brightness, Tonal Range Compression, Contrast Adaptation, Black and White Point, Color Temperature and Color Saturation.
Fusion/Adjust: Accentuation, Blending Point, Shadows, Saturation, Black and White Point, Midtones Adjustments.
Fusion/Intensive: Strength, Radius, Saturation.
› Settings can be saved as Presets for quick access, or saved to and loaded from XMP files
› Preset thumbnails panel: built-in and user presets for tone mapping and fusion show as thumbnails in a panel alongside the preview. Panel can be set in horizontal or vertical orientation.
› Loupe to get a crop at 100% resolution.
› Option for different preview ratios and magnification
› Undo and redo buttons for the settings done.
› Luminance and per color channel histogram.
› Output image is in 16 bits/channel mode, with the option to save it as 8 bits/channel jpeg or tiff, if desired
› ”360 degree image” option for equirectangular image set to be viewed in a 360 degree panorama viewer.
› Tone Mapping can be undone.
