Easy Hackintosh Dell 10v guide v1.4 Mac

Version 1.4 of the popular guide. This is found to be one of the easiest guides to installing Snow Leopard onto the Dell 10v. Screenshots of various points let you know you're following the tutorial correctly. This version will allow people who purchased the retail SL 10.6.3 upgrade disc to install OSX on their Dell 10v. This version DOES allow the system to run software updates to 10.6.4, and has been found to be pretty stable for most installations. If it does not update properly, there are instructions for fixing the update to run properly.

The fix for correcting the time in Windows has been added to the tutorial.

Probably the best compilation of items that will have the Dell 10v running Mac OS X Snow Leopard in no time at all. Following through this guide generally takes about 4 hours from beginning to having your Dell 10v dual booting Mac SL and Windows. And about half that time if you only want Mac. Some people have taken about 6-8 hours when using XP, and also carefully verifying each step was done properly. The longest amount of time will likely be waiting for the OSs to be installed. Worth the wait.

No Mac system is required to prep any USB drive.

This guide was put together using actual retail OS discs. Snow Leopard is roughly available for $30-USD. There are no OS files in this package.

Track data specific to each scene in this new floating pallet such as the scene’s story beats that will eventually make up the action, characters and dialog of the scene. Add and edit your scene’s title such as ‘Villain introduced’, and add color to the scene to help you track elements like storylines, character arcs, and material you need to get back to later. Like the Navigator, the SPI will display the details of whatever scene you’re working on in your script so that you have your summary notes handy as you need them.

Index Cards
Easily outline your story and restructure your script by dragging and dropping multiple scenes at a time.
This improved feature has double-sided cards that display the script’s scene on one side and the summary on the other. The Summary View allows you to enter ideas directly into the index card such as your basic outline, notes, sequence or act markers, comments, locations, blocking... anything you need to build and organize your story. You can also color your Index Cards to help organize themes, character arcs, A and B stories, etc. Select and rearrange multiple cards at once if you need to reorder your scenes or print your Index Cards directly on 3x5 or 4x6 cards for use in the ‘traditional’ way if you want to visualize and organize scenes outside of the application. Double-clicking on a card in Split Panel View will automatically sync the scene selected with your script.

PhotoMatix is a program that photographers can use to solve a perplexing problem.
The problem is shooting good photos where there is a wide variation in contrast within a scene. For example, in a situation where you want to take a photo of a tall building with the sun high up in the sky in the background and a shadow in the foreground, the problem is that there’s no way to set the camera’s exposure controls to expose all the regions in the scene properly in a single shot. In a situation like that, if you set your camera’s exposure controls to properly expose the building, the background will be washed out, but if you set the camera to expose the background properly, the building will be too dark, as will the foreground.

Merge of bracketed photos into HDR (High Dynamic Range)
› Option for automatic image alignment of hand-held shots. Two alignment methods are available, the “by matching features” method corrects for translation, rotation, scaling and perspective.
› Selective deghosting tool for effective removal of “ghosts” in dynamic scenes: users can select ghosted regions with a lasso tool, and change the preferred image taken for each selected region. An option for automatic reduction of ghosting artifacts is also available..
