A sneak peak at one of the many photo art creations that will be at the upcoming
Photo Exposition Fundraiser Event for the Vaudreuil-Soulanges Palliative Care Residence..
November 30th ~ Harwood Galerie ~ Vaudreuil, Hudson

All my photos have a story and an inspirational quote usually written by me. For this one I could not have written a better quote. I titled this one, Who'll be my love , which was inspired by a Cat Stevens song, ruby my love, that was playing while working on the exposition. I thought the words went very well with the story of this photo capture.

It was a beautiful day at the 5th Hudson British Car Show which was held Sunday may 30th in Hudson...This years Hudson British Car Show attract people from all over, and every year the show and its popularity keeps growing among visitors of all ages. Classic British cars where on exhibit, such as London Taxi's from the 50's to 300SL & 190SL Mercedes to Morris 8's , Triumphs, Daimlers, Studebakers, Corvairs and MGA's.

Perhaps I have a different car criteria over men, but any car that had a picnic basket on it get my attention, there is something so nostalgic about these beauties. View my photo collection from the event, the wheels, the hoods, the hood ornaments, the font frills, the back side etc...

Inspirations comes from many places, I would even say that we all inspire each other in many ways. As a designer, one of my favorite things to do is simply go window shopping...no buying. I like to see the retail trends and then I put my on interpretations and twist into my creations. Sometimes its a fabric or a colour that will inspire me, or a shape or a unique detail. It's never just one thing as a whole, its a combination of bits and pieces of the things I have seen. It can even be a fashion item I saw on a walker by. I always come back from these excursions most inspired. I always look at it all as a whole, the decorations, the fashions, the buildings, all of it inspires me in one form or an other. These are some of the items that caught my creative eye and spirit this season while in Montreal window shopping and at the Montreal Spring Gift Show which is for trade only (so you can get an concept of what up and coming).

After I see things that inspire me, I let them simmer, I kayak, I get inspired by nature and then when I make things, I get a creative serge that leads the way to a new creation.

To celebrate the 40th anniversary of Earth Day on April 22nd the Craft &
Hobby Association (CHA) is pleased to introduce an eco-friendly, plastic bottle
craft as a way for people to get crafty while saving the planet, one plastic
bottle at a time. CHA has partnered with Maddylane, a Canadian designer
and photographer to provide the tutorial on how to transform plastic
beverage bottles into handcrafted lanterns.

I'm delighted that the CHA (The Craft & Hobby Association)has chosen to feature
Miy Recycled Bottle Craft and especial honored that its to celebrate
Earth Day, because thats what miycreations is all about ~ Miy make it yourself Eco-Friendly creations for the home and family.

with water-based stains that are odorless - and therefore perfect to use
indoors this time of year - with easy cleanup afterward. Two different tones of
green water-based stains were applied to give the unpainted wooden

It was really special to be part of all the excitement and Olympic fever.
