I used some First Edition textured patterned paper called Blank Canvas that I just purchased recently.  Love this pad of paper!  My sentiment is from the Verve stamp set, Always on My Mind.

What You’ll need:

• 1 Large Manila Envelope
• The Mission Printable
• Word Art Printable for the envelope (if you have any “confidential” or “top secret” stamps, you could use those instead)
• Take 5 Candy Bar (to go with Wednesday’s mission – There’s a tag to add on the Word Art page)
• 1 Tea Bag (to go with Sunday’s mission- There’s a tag to add on the Word Art page)

Instructions:

• Cut out the Word Art and adhere to the envelope.  Adhere the Wednesday and Sunday tags to the candy bar (Wed) and tea bag (Sun).
• Enclose the mission instructions, candy bar and tea bag.
• Be sure to write your Secret Sister’s name on the envelope.

I just cut out the word art and used adhesive but you could use clear packing tape if you wanted.  I layered my word art on red cardstock just to give it a pop.  I obviously did this to be hand delivered to the Secret Sister table at church and not sent through the mail.

You can use this for just a friend gift as well (especially a stressed out one).  Just don’t use the Secret Sister word art.

I found some black with polka dots paper (October Afternoon – Thrift Shop) in my stash and thought that would be great for this project until it came to the eyes.  I just couldn’t seem to come up with anything that would look good against those polka dots.  I finally decided on a little punch out of the yellow paper I used on the wings with a smaller white punch out on top of that and a felt tip for the black dot.

For my sentiment I used a “hello” from the Strawberry stamp set from Flourishes.  I used the wing template to make the heart for inside the card.

For those of you who do Hen Parties or Chick Parties from time to time, I did notice that these would be really easy to decorate on both sides and use for table decorations.

For my card I used some speckled creamy color cardstock for the base.  The paper is Stampin’ Up! (Springtime Vintage).  I used a Spellbinders Fancy Tags die-cut for the main piece.  That I recently purchased from the Hobby Lobby clearance.  Yeah!  Love those deals.

The flower is made from a scalloped punch with the top layer having slits cut into it.  Just added a button to the center for some detail.  The ribbon effect I just cut free-hand.  I know they make die-cuts for that but I never see the sense in buying dies like that when you can cut the shape so easily.

The sentiment is from Verve’s Small Celebrations stamp set.

There is a variety of Angry Birds candy on the market.   I got mine at the Dollar Tree.

 The color of the blue on the tag is a little brighter than the photo shows.  I had a terrible time getting the lighting right for the photo.
