Han has been our client for a while. Last year they hired us to work on web maintenance for their splash page. This year they came back to us again for a completely new look.

We use the same red and pink color palette in this new design, and adding in a few more soft pink and soft purple shades. We improved their existing red riding hood character that has officially been Mom Luv DIY’s mascot, and illustrated a few kinds of sweet pouches for the footer.

Mom Luv DIY is based in Singapore, but they also ship internationally.

The design is quite simple, but we did a heavy customization in the back end to match Poy Poy’s order flow. One of them was to make sure the pricing were hid for some pre-order or “bargain-able” items.

Judy mentioned that she wanted to have a fun, funky, retro themed online store with a character that kind of looks like Audrey Hepburn… or at least her style. The character is posing as if she was showing up at a party bringing a special gift for the hostess.

We used black and hot pink for the main palette and it is used in the logo as well as the Happy Hostess special packaging.

Pauline had a doodle of three cute piggies that she had been drawing by herself. We developed it into a vectorized logo and transformed it into three little piggy characters for the banner.
