Tangle teezer dream

Why oh why, did i wait so long to buy this! Honestly for anyone who has troublesome tangled hair, this is heaven. In the past few months for some reason my hair has become more troublesome than before, tangling all the time and when you attempt to detangle you feel like your pulling half your hair out, causing more damage. I was having nightmares about going to the hairdressers. However since my recent purchase of the bubblegum pink tangle teezer, its literally takes no effort to detangle my hair I'm loving it!

Tangle teezer claims "Tangle Teezer Original professional detangling hairbrush is loved by hairdressers and used in professional hair salons. It's a super smooth operator that works the minute hair is lathered and rinsed. Glides through wet, vulnerable and colour treated hair with no pulling, tugging or yanking. Hair peace at last!"
And i can say that's it defiantly doesn't pull,tug or yank your hair, it really is a dream. I cannot praise it enough and best of it its cheap.
Retails at: £10.20 on the tangle teezer website but it available at all the main drugstores such as boots.

Floral stag wall object (medium) £45.00, this brightens up any room with its uniqueness. Can be used inside or outside, comes flat packed.

ceramic squirrel stacking game £50.00, this is a lovely quirky item to have on a side table, however not suitable if you have small children around.

So what were the products:

Schwarzkopf Osis+ Dust It Mattifying Powder

States its a lightweight powder that turns into a cream when you run it between your hands and then gives you light control. I've been wanting to try this for ages, so Ive already had a play around with it and so far i can say its a good product! However I'm struggling to make it turn into a cream, I've found it best to sprinkle a little straight onto your roots. This is the full size product 10g which normally costs the price of the beautybox itself, so I'm well chuffed!

Bella Pierre Shimmer Powder

This is a multi-purpose powder, the shade i go was reluctance which is a green silver colour should be good for a smokey eye look. You can use it as an eyeshadow highlight, cheekbone highlight and even adding it to lip gloss, but due to the colour i got ill just be using it as an eyeshadow.

Xen Tan Deep Bronze Luxe

Ive use the xen tan dark lotion before but not the luxe before so I'm looking forward to trying this :) Just remember to exfoliate!

Goldwell Dual Senses Ultra Volume 60 Second Treatment

Ive used this last night in replacement of my normal conditioner and it definitely gave my hair volume, so I'm impressed!

Emma Hardie Amazing Face Natural Lift and Sculpt Moringa Cleansing Balm:

I have used the eve lom version of a hot cloth cleanser, and I loved the product however its not cheap. This was easy to use and you only need a tiny amount, its takes off all your makeup including mascara!

Ive always lusted after a white nail polish, but I've never come across one that was exactly what i wanted until i found this;

This gives the perfect all over white colour, for those lusting after a white as snow nail varnish. But also double as a great tip for french manicures, so all in all with OPI's normal high quality i thinks its a bargain.

Latest in beauty monthly box review

I found this website around six months ago,when i was searching for makeup sample box like glossybox. The latest in beauty offers its subscribers to once a moth pay £1 to receive samples of products, this includes postage costs. So its a great deal really! Yes of course the products aren't high end like chanel or nars, but I've had samples like olay and burts bees. There’s no catch,the site just asks you to give back feedback on the products.
You get a choice of three products; one skincare, one makeup and fragrances and one hair and body.

The samples come in a parcel like this, well measured to fit through letterboxes :)

And this months box, i choose;

1. Burts Bees therapeutic bath crystals 44g, which is meant to help stimulate the elimination of waste products from teh skin and soreness, after things like physical exercise.
2. Lavera Faces , a summer glow facial moisturizer of which i got 4 sachets of, said to give a glow to the face.
3. Yu-be moisturizing skin cream (one small tube), which is a concentrated glycerin moisturizing cream from japan enriched with vitamins. Which can be used everywhere and is suitable for all the family.
They also sent me a sample of Sun shots sun cream, as you can see above.
All come with a note saying thank you fro ordering, with a small explanation of the products.
All in all, this is a cheap alternative to products like glossybox and birchbox. Although if you like me you might want to try them all. £1 is nothing to be honest, i think its a bargain product :)

Nars balanced foundation review

I purchased this foundation, because i wanted the nars sheer glow but this was being sold on ebay cheap and in my shade, so i decided to go for it!

And.... im actually quite surprised its quite a nice foundation, i have combination skin but this foundation is stated that its most suitable for oily skin. However it worked really well for me :)

This only suits be when i used some of my xen tan, but if i mix it with a lighter foundation its fine.

However unfortunately this has now been discontinued... lets carry on the search for the perfect foundtaion!!!

Ive always longed after a michael kors bags, there just fab, Ive never been in a position to buy one full price. However tk maxx came to my rescue, offering michael kors bags on their website at bargain prices and i mean bargain prices! Although i couldn't really afford it, i had to have one lol I new this offer wasn't going to come around again anytime soon, so here she is;

This is the astor tote, suede in material which i suppose i going to have to look after carefully. She has soft good studs, a gold half chain and leather straps and of course the michael kors symbol.
Due to the colouring she will go, with just about everything :) I'm very happy with my purchase although I'm now skint haha

Maybelline XXL Mascara

It came to the time where i needed a new mascara, recently i haven't found any i love since a really old bourjois one which i really hard to get hold of, think they may have discontinued it :( So i searched the Internet and decided to try Maybellines XXL Mascara, which is a double ended mascara one white end and one black.

Step one; is a the white product with micro fibres that is said to tame, align and volumize lashes.

Step two; is the black mascara product which claims to extend your lashes hence the name.

I'm was actually quite impressed with this product to begin with for the price range i believe its a good product. I had no product fall under my eyes at the end of the day, and i felt it was easy to remove. It definitely did make my lashes appear longer although at times the mascara was clumpy due to having to use two steps of product.

One bad point Ive found is Ive only had it a few weeks and it actually started to dry up, to be honest i don't think you get a lot of product and therefore i probably wont repurchase this item.

Mac Face and body foundation is one of those foundations you seem to hear a lot about, its one of those you think i must try this. It's been on my want list for quite a while so about a month or so ago i decided to go ahead and purchase.
Its got a watery like consistency, which once applies set on your face in seconds. It gives you a natural skin finish.

Pro's:

Lightweight
Easy to apply
Gives a healthy dewy glow
As its got a thin consistency the bottle will last you quite a long while
Natural looking, so great for daytime looks
Its not really got a smell to it

Con's:

It seemed great for about a month and then it started to irritate my skin and broke me out
Won't cover spots up well
Depending on what coverage you want, sometimes its too minimal
Sometimes it made my skin oily (not nice)

For me this impressed to begin with but when i started to break out it was the end of my mac face and body.
So i continue the search for the best all around foundation...

Rodial glamtox eye light pen

Normally i wouldn't really buy something like this but i found it at a bargain price in my local Tk Maxx, so i thought what the heck i may aswell give it ago.
This item retails at £35.00 which i must admit it abit steep, there are similar item on the market from brands such as YSL. It claims to be an eye brightening concealer that erases any signs of fatigue and brightens the complexion. Although its an eye concealer it suggest on the box that you can use it in areas such as; hollow of the chin and contours of the nose.

I only used this under my eyes, i found that it did definitely brighten up my eyes but sometimes there just wasn't enough coverage for this to replace my normal concealer. The product is of a sheer liquid like consistency, which is dispensed using a click pen. You apply just a few strokes under the eye area, like a normal concealer.
Overall i do agree that it brightens up your eyes but i don't think i'd repurchase this, as i believe the retail price is to steep for what the product delivers. Although saying that there are many rodial products i would love to try, like the snake serum and boob lift. :)

These items are all from over the space of a few months, some are gifts and most of them i brought myself.
As I'm a student I'm in a small budget but with the likes of ebay.com/co.uk, you can often find many designer bargains! Here's a few piccies;

My favourite purchase , are these beauties a pair of prada sunglasses, I've been lusting of a pair like these for years but never been in a position to afford them. But thanks to ebay i managed to grab these for £40.00 wooo :)
But i word of warning there are many fakes items on ebay make sure you do your research for sunglasses read up about serial codes.

The maxi skirt, is a fab item for spring/summer. You can wear its whenever you want and its so easy to just chuck on, you bearly have to think about your outfit!

I just couldn't resist this, its a bluey purple colour and flows so elegantly and yet it was £12.00 from primark!! Love a bargain

The next item was a gift from my mother, she knew i had wanted a pair of these
for ages. They're Vivienne westwood globe earrings, there plain silver but because they are plain they will go with everything!!

My mum recently brought me this back from duty free, as she had been away on holiday. I had seen this

perfume advertisement in a magazine but i not normally the kinda girl too experiment with perfumes. Although

i must say this has a lovely scent, great for spring and summer. Its a sweet floral scent, you start to smell raspberries,rose petals its girly and glamorous. The packaging is ok but i do like the simple bottle, its a glass hot pink bottle in the shape of a grenade, which is hot pink at the bottom and gradually decreases into a baby pink nearer the top. This is now my new daytime fragrance so i can save some of my Chanel coco mademoiselle :) X

Eve Lom my new love

I have to admit I am one of those lazy people that can't be bothered with cleansing, toning, moisturizing and so on. But I've realized that now that I've turned 21 its time to start looking after my skin properly, so I've been on the hunt for skincare products. I tried a few but they were nothing special and didn't keep me interested which in turn meant I became lazy with my routine (not good). BUT all is not lost I have found a wonderful product that does most of my skincare routine in one! Woohooo! It is Eve Lom's Cleanser which claims to improve circulation, open pores, cleanse, exfoliate and tone the skin in minutes. I personally feel that this product delivers this it leaves my skin feeling as soft as a baby’s bottom and it makes my skincare routine so much easier, it even takes off my heavy duty mascara.

This is the 50ml tub, which comes with one muslim cloth.

Important ingredients:

Clove and eucalyptus oil's which have antiseptic and anti-bacterial properties.
Cocoa butter and chamomile oil used to soothe and condition the skin.
Hops oil which tones the skin.

The muslim cloth provided is used to exfoliate the skin to leave your skin cleansed but yet soft.

How to use this product
Start by applying a small amount of the product to your face and neck (anywhere you have applied make-up to), you only need a small amount because of all the natural oils in the product. A small amount goes a long way. Massage the product all over then proceed to fill your sink/basin with hot or warm water. Immerse your muslim cloth into the water and afterwards squeeze out excess liquid. Press the cloth onto your face and/or neck for a few seconds. Repeat this step several times. This stage will open up your pores.
Then fold the muslim cloth into a small square, using circular movements remove all traces of the cleanser. You can continue to immerse the cloth into cold water and press on your face and/or neck, this is meant to close your pores.

Another good quality is you only need to use the tiniest amount as a little goes a long way with this product.
