This is my first ever makeup blog, so I am extremely excited to post this. The look I will be sharing is an "Easy Every day Makeup". Lets get started.

First up: The Rules of Makeup

Always apply makeup on a clean, moisturized face
Great skin is the secret to flawless makeup look
Do not copy any ones makeup look straight away. Customize it according to your skin tone and features

Easy Every day Makeup I used the following products for this look:

Oops! I forgot my mascara (hehehe). Base: Since the humidity levels are quite in Karachi, I avoid using foundation (liquid or stick) because it makes my skin oily and sweaty, so I only use it for evening makeup. I used DMGM's face powder in Even Beige shade. It gives a really nice coverage to skin and make it appear bright and smooth.

Eyes: For eyes I used Loreal Wear Infinite, Studio Secrets in 508 Summer Dusk.

Its a quad eyeshadow palette in nudes. The shades have numbers on them to guide you what to apply first. Its got a guide at the rear to instruct you about applying eye shades. If you have troubles in defining your eyes, this can really help you. To finish off the look, I used Loreal Infallible EyeLiner to define my eyes. I already have thick lashes so I often skip mascara. However, you may apply mascara to achieve long lashes.Blush: I used DMGM Luminous Touch Cheek Blush in Bronze Pink. It blends very well on skin and gives it a golden pink shine. I absolutely love this blush because I can wear it in day as well as night.Its a perfect blush/bronzer combo.

Lips:

I used Golden Rose Perfect Shine Lipstick Shade 206. You may find its review here. I love its light pink shine with gives a soft/romantic look to face. Always use soft colors on lips in day time.

Lip care is so important year round and not many people know how important it really is. I love having soft and smooth lips and here is how to achieve it!

1. Exfoliate your lips once a week- Exfoliating is super important because it gets all of the dead skin off of your lips. You can buy these at places like Lush and Bath and Body Works. You can also make your own with brown sugar, white sugar, and olive oil.

2. Moisturize after exfoliating- This seems like a no brainer but after you exfoliate your skin is dry so it is essential to moisturize with a good chapstick or lip balm. My favorite is plain old carmex or nivea kiss of smoothness.

3. When you go in the sun use SPF- You use sunscreen on your body so why not use it on your lips? It is important to have a lip balm with SPF because the oil in the lip balm will burn your lips so you need some SPF to counteract the oil.

Review: Sigma Eye shadow Palette In Bare

Brushes in this palette:

My Opinion:

This palette has got 8 very neutral and wearable eye shadows. I love the combinations they made in this palette because they have included a great mix of matte, satin, shimmer and sparkle finishes. The quality of these eye shadows is good, they have got descent color pay off and when i swatched these eye shadows i noticed they feel really smooth and finely milled and they aren't chalky either. It features dual ended brush which are just okay, i never liked the sigma's pencil brush and the fluffy E25 is just okay as well and i know one thing for sure its definitely not similar to MAC 217 because like the E30 it also lacks the stiffness that MAC brushes have, but if you are on vacation or something they will come dead handy.

The only problem i have with these eye shadows is there staying power, they don't crease or anything but you need a good primer or base to make them stay all day otherwise without a primer or base they will fade away really quickly.

If you are looking for a good basic everyday neutral eye shadow palette i would recommend you to definitely give it a try but if you have a lot of neutral eye shadow palettes already then just skip it. And about the other two palettes i can't say anything because i haven't tried them but Flare looks like a great choice if you are looking for a bright colorful one.

My Opinion:

I am a huge fan of natural products whether its skin care, hair care or makeup products. And also i am a sucker for cream blushers and i have always loved my cream blushes more then the powder ones because i think they look a lot more natural, These blushes are really nice quality, they give such a natural and dewy glow to my cheeks and as a bonus these are really good for my skin as well because they are packed with all natual antioxidants. The staying power is also great which is a bit hard to find when it comes to cream blushes! I have normal to combination skin and i did't had any problem of getting oily cheeks or clogged pores or breakouts .

On my lips its not as moisturizing as a lipstick but they are not so much drying either, just make sure your lips are properly moisturized before applying this to your lips.

FRUIT PIGMENTED TAHITI SATIN EYE SHADOW:

My Opinion:

Tahiti is a really pretty shimmery champagne color and it looks quite similar to MAC's bare study paint pot and i adore MAC paint pots in fact i love cream eye shadows! And this particular one is quite unique product because it is also said to be made from fruit and vegetable pigments. It looks great if applied alone or as a base for powder eye shadows. I didn't had any problem of creasing with these. The staying power is pretty descent, they are not as long lasting as a MAC paint pot but they can stay in place for all day if applied over a primer.

Guest Post: Rimmel Max Volume Flash Waterproof Mascara Review

Mascaras, in all seasons, are considered a must-have for every genre of makeup! This is probably why we are always on the look for mascaras that can give you enhanced, curly lashes without any messiness, are quick to dry and can give you the desired look.

Well, in this case, I’m no different! I saw the most tempting advertisement for the Max Volume Flash mascara by Rimmel and wanted to try it out there and then. A family wedding coming up turned out to be the next reason for me to instantly buy this hot pink tube mascara instantly.

The brush has quite a lot of bristles that are long and totally non-plastic sort. The stick itself is long as well and yes, quite easy to hold even when you’re in a hurry. Owing to the size of the brush, it’s not very easy to apply it on the lower lashline while for the upper lashline, it works just fine. Yet, you have to be proper careful during the application since it can smudge anywhere and yes, this is slightly messy! More so, the runny formula with heavy clumping makes you even more cautious when using this Rimmel mascara. After all, who wants smudging and clumping when it makes you feel so uncomfortable about your eyes!

The only claim that I believe the Max Volume Flash mascara stood by is that it does lengthen and voluminize your lashes. So, if you feel you can manage using this product without any smudging, go for it! Otherwise, I’m afraid I’d rather advise you to try other mascaras in the market!

My Opinion:

I am sure a lot of you guys must have gotten the idea of what pout paints are because there is so much buzz going around in the blogosphere about these but if you still don't know what they are then, these are liquid lipsticks made with high intensity pigments and the smallest amount is needed to get full coverage on the lips, just like the OCC lip tars, a bit better then OCC lip tars in my opinion. Not that i don't like my lip tars i still love them a lot, but texture wise Sleek pout paints are a bit thicker so it makes them much easier to work with.

Sleek pount paints have a slightly glossy finish and they are HIGHLY pigmented so you will just need the smallest drop of this to cover your whole lips. Staying power is great, they last on my lips for 8 hours without budging. One thing to keep in mind before applying this especially with lighter shades is that make sure your lips are exfoliated and properly moisturized otherwise its going to accentuate every single line on your lips and that isn't a very pretty look! and ALWAYS use a lip brush to apply these.

Peek-a-bloo can be used to warm up any color and cloud9 is made to cool down the color.

For some reason the pout paint in peachy keen was a lot thinner in consistency and the formula was kinda separated. I don't know all the light colors are like that or mine was defective :/

I created two new shades out of my pout paint :)

Overall Thoughts:

I think these Pout paints are a MUST have in your makeup collection especially for those who like to experiment a lot with there makeup.

Too Faced Natural Eye Palette

Too Faced has 5 shadow palettes that they have put together, two smokey eye palettes, the Naked palette, the Romantic palette, and my personal favorite the Natural Eye Palette. This palette is great for travel, and can be combined to make so many different looks for day, work, night, etc. This little box comes with 3 different looks and nine shadows, as well as a double sided brush with a doe foot applicator and a liner brush. It comes with 3 cards for a Day look, a Classic look, and a Fashion look for those beginners who need a little help knowing where to put the colors. I personally don't use the cards and like to have a little fun putting the colors together differently every once and a while. Heaven, Silk Teddy, and Nude Beach are the three largest colors used mostly for the lid and highlighting, they are all really smooth and go on very well. Velvet Revolver, Push-up, and Honey Pot are the colors that go the best in the crease area, they aren't as smooth as the larger shadows and have quite a bit of fall out. They are also smaller, which is kind of unfortunate as I have already hit pan on Push-up. The last three colors are used specifically for lining and darkening the outer corner, these colors are Sexpresso, Erotica, and Cocoa Puff. These three are just as smooth as the first three shadows and work great for their purpose.

Colors top to bottom: Heaven (silky cream) , Velvet Revolver (matte medium brown), and Sexpresso (matte dark brown)

The Classic Look:

Colors top to bottom: Silk Teddy (shimmery light pink), Push-up (bright shimmery brown), and Erotica (dark brown with sparkles)

The Fashion Look:

Colors left to right: Nude Beach (shimmery pink), Honey Pot (Light shimmery gold), and Cocoa Puff (dark brown with a little sparkle)

Overall, this palette is a great investment at only $35. You can get so many looks out of it and all of the colors blend together really well. I love this palette and will definitely repurchase when it runs out. My only downside is I've already hit pan on two of the smaller colors and you can't buy single shadow replacements for them. Review: Hello Gorgeous Hair Extensions

This set has 8 wefts.

I got my extensions in 22" Salon Special, 175g which retails for $149.99. These are 100% human hair so you can curl them. I am really happy with these extensions, first of all the color match is SO dead on that as soon as i opened the box i was like "these exactly look like my own hair!! and the hair quality is just AMAZING!! They are so silky, shiny, thick, strong, and just beautiful. No matter how i wear them, straight or curly, i always get so many compliments on how beautiful my hair looks and no one believes me when I say they are extensions! They have really nice quality clips so there is no tugging or anything like that.

The best thing about these extensions are that they are custom made unless they have your shade available which i think is really great, sometimes people have such unique hair color that its difficult to find a good color match for them, so if you have really unique hair don't worry they will make a special set for you.

I don't know why there is so many negative feedback about hellogorgeous but i find there customer service pretty amazing, the owner of hellogorgeous.com shannon was super sweet and extremely helpful to me. It will take about a month to get your extensions because these are custom made but the result will be worth waiting trust me :)

My Opinion:

Whoever creates these lip tars is a genius! I am so freaking in love with these babies!!! First of all the pigmentation, these are crazy pigmented! you need a TEENY TINY amount and when i say tiny i really mean it, as they also mention it on there website a little goes a long way and if you apply too much the results wont be pretty i am telling you. There consistency is on a runny side and they moisturizes my lips really well. About the staying power, this is the most long wearing lip product i own! i never need to re apply it during the day because it stays on my lips really well without budging. I would again stress that the key is applying the tiniest amount to get good results otherwise it will start feathering, will look cakey and settles into fine lines in short if you apply too much it will look just weird, so please apply the tiniest amount to achieve the perfect result.

Review: Sleek Makeup Caribbean Collection

Hey everyone.

I am sure a lot of you probably already know that sleek Makeup is launching another very fun and colorful collection for summer. So today i am gonna share my opinion about this collection with you.

My Opinion:

Do i still need to mention this palette has very bright colors? I don't think so! the colors are screaming "Bright" themselves. I love to wear bright eyeshadows so this palette is definitely my best friend this summer. It has a mixture of matte and shimmery eyeshadows. They have got a very smooth almost buttery texture that's what make these eyeshadows really easy to blend. Just loving this palette!

The purple eye shadow in this palette reminds me of the very famous makeup forever #92 purple but that's just my guess because i don't own that.

Blush in Aruba

This here is one BRIGHT blush! Its extremely pigmented like all sleek blushes but don't be scared it looks really pretty if you apply it very LIGHTLY. For reference i am very pale, NC15 at MAC with dark brown eyes and dark brown hair, i just tap my blush brush in the pan once and it gives me a really nice orangey coral flush.

Pout Polish in Bonaire:

This is my most favorite item in the whole collection. It looks quite scary in the pan but on my lips it looks absolutely gorgeous and comes out as a beautiful and most wearable coraly nude color! It moisturizes my lips really well and smells SOOO good!! In fact it smells just like a yummy pina colada.

Guest Post: How To Apply False lashes

Wearing false eye lashes can give you a look of sophistication, elegance and even make you appear to be sexier. If you’re a bit afraid of wearing them because you feel that they will overpower your eyes or because you feel that they look fake you should take the time to check out some of the lashes that are available in stores today. Many of them look totally natural so that they will blend in beautifully with your natural lashes. Once you have fallen in love with a pair of false lashes and want to give them a try, you can learn how to apply them with these easy to follow tips.

Decisions, Decisions, Decisions- Decide if you want to apply a full set of lashes or if you want to try out the individual ones. You will have a little more control with the individual ones however they do take more overall time to apply. Also, the full sets can be picked apart to make individual lashes.

Get Squeaky- Just like any other time when you’re about to apply makeup you should clean your face. Get rid of any trace of eyes shadow, liner and mascara. Otherwise you can end up looking like a train wreck.

Trim Time- You want your lashes to look as natural as possible so make sure to cut the false lashes down so that they are the same length as your natural lashes. If you want a more dramatic look, the outer lashes can be slightly longer in length.

Take A Dip- If you’re applying a set of lashes, dip a toothpick into the glue and apply it to the base of the lashes.

One by One- If you’re applying individual lashes, put a couple of drops of glue on a piece of paper and give it a minute to dry so that it becomes tacky. Once ready, use a tweezer to pick up an individual lash and dip it into the glue.

Work It- You should always start applying the lashes from the outer corner of your eye and work your way in and get the lashes as close to your lash line as possible. Hold the lashes in place for a few seconds with a tweezer for the individual lashes and your finger for the sets so that it dries properly. Be sure to take your time with this so that the lashes are even.

And Apply- Now it’s time to apply your makeup. Start with the eye shadow and then apply eye liner and finally mascara. The liner will hide any gaps that there may be in the lashes and make it look like the lashes are even at the base. Depending on the type of lashes that you purchases, you may not need mascara so you can decide whether or not you want to apply any depending on how dramatic you want to look.

Remember, you decide on how bold or subtle you want your lashes to be. The best way to figure out if your lashes have enough pop is to start slow by using individual lashes and filling in the spaces as needed. Enjoy!

My Opinion:

I am a massive fan of highlighting products so i am pretty much a highlighter junky. I got this highlighting liquid in the color Sea Of Cloud, its available in four different shades. Its a very unique highlighter, when you swatch it, it looks pure white but when its applied it gives more of a goldenish silver glow, does that make any sense? No! thats what makes it unique ;) its not overly shimmery but it still gives an absolutely BEAUTIFUL glow to the face. I am SOOO loving this thing! I found my HG highlighter finally! Rouge bunny rouge is a quite expensive brand but trust me you will get what you pay for. And the packaging, Oh its just GORGEOUS!!

My Opinion:

I have always just HATED the strong smell of nail polishes especially the nail polish removers. As soon as i opened piggy paints website i completely fell in love with there brand! i just loved the concept, the theme, the products. My Opinion:

I love these lipsticks! They are very pigmented and i like the fact that they are not too opaque. The texture is just perfect, its so creamy and very easy to apply. I have very dry lips and it moisturizes my lips really well. It has a very sweet and subtle vanilla scent like MAC lipsticks have. It stays on my lips for 4-5 hours without smudging.

I won't say that these lipsticks come in a huge variety of colors, the color selection is limited but it contains very beautiful shades. I got three colors and i am in love with all three!

According to rituals these lipsticks contains ruby powder, which helps to improve blood circulation to give the lips a healthy glow. Honestly i can tell anything about that, i mean how can i tell that the blood circulation in my lips increased or not?
