Madonna made an epic surprise appearance Saturday night at West Hollywood LGBTQ bar and nightclub The Abbey. The invite-only event was billed as “Club Confessions Los Angeles” with DJs Stuart Price, Romy and Mez Monty. The festivities also served as a birthday party for The Abbey’s owner Tristan Schukraft.

“Hello, children, mutha is here to save you,” Madonna said as she appeared in the DJ booth beside Price at about 1 a.m. Sunday morning. “Are you ready to dance for me? Come on meet me on the dancefloor. Alright, let’s go gays, come on! Don’t let me down, gays.”

Madonna sang into the mic as Price played her new single “I Feel So Free” from her upcoming album “Confessions on a Dance Floor: Part II.”

Addison Rae, trying to go incognito by wearing a black cat eye mask, danced while sitting on the edge of the deejay booth. At one point, Madonna led the crowd in a chant of, “There’s nothing that we cannot do,” before ending with her exclaiming, “Yes, motherfuckers, there’s nothing that we cannot do.”

Her set lasted for about 30 minutes, but not before ending her appearance by wishing a “happy birthday” to Schukraft. “Do we want to pull his pants down and spank him?” she asked.

Schukraft stayed fully clothed as Madonna playfully whacked him on the butt as she and the crowd sang “Happy Birthday.”

The evening was presented by Schukraft’s PrEP company Mistr.

Madonna Debuts Two New Songs at The Abbey, Tells Crowd to “Put Your Phones Down”

If you could get on the list, it was the place to be. Judging from the line snaking down Robertson Blvd. into the wee hours on Saturday night, many did — but not everyone made it inside to catch a close-up glimpse of Madonna, who strolled behind the decks at 12:53 a.m., sending the packed crowd into a frenzy.

Madonna previewed two new songs at the (not-so) surprise appearance at Club Confession, a one-night party at the legendary Abbey nightclub in West Hollywood, doubling as a birthday bash for Tristan Schukraft, the CEO of telehealth company MISTR and owner of the storied gay Mecca.

Wearing a powder-pink bustier — reminiscent of the archival piece she wore at Coachella that was later stolen — she rolled out two previously unheard cuts: “Love Sensation” and a track titled “Freedom” that played like a demo and quickly became the night’s centerpiece.

Stuart Price, the architect of 2005’s Confessions on a Dance Floor and Confessions II kept the beats coming. Before him, Romy and DJ Mez Monty took turns at the decks.

From behind the booth, Madonna worked the room like a drill sergeant. “Don’t wait. Take it. Don’t wait. Take it. Take your freedom! Put your hands up! Put your hands up!” she shouted, before admonishing the crowd to “put your phones down” and be in the music. Madonna debuted music from her new album during a secret late night event in Los Angeles last night when she made a surprise appearance at the LGBTQ+ club The Abbey in West Hollywood at an invite-only event that was billed as ‘Club Confessions Los Angeles’.

Appearing at the DJ booth at around 1am, Madonna was joined by Stuart Price – who has produced both ‘Confessions’ albums – as well as Addison Rae, while Romy of The xx and Mez Monty also performed.

“Hello children, mutha is here to save you,” she said to the crowd. “Are you ready to dance for me? Come on, meet me on the dancefloor.”

Price played the record’s only single so far, ‘I Feel So Free’, and also debuted two new tracks, including ‘Freedom’, and treated the crowd to a mix of ‘Hung Up’, the hit song from the original ‘Confessions’ album.

Queen of Pop Madonna made a special late-night (early-morning!) visit to WeHo’s famous queer club the Abbey Sunday at 1 a.m. — and she didn’t come empty-handed! As her producer Stuart Priced DJed, Madonna, 67, emerged in a diaphanous pink disco-bridal look, complete with shades and a veil.

“Yay for the gays!”
Speaking to a throng of admirers, she began, “Hello, children… Mother is here to save you. Are you ready to dance for me?”

“Come on, meet me on the dance floor,” she teased from the DJ booth, referencing her new song “I Feel So Free.”

“Don’t let me down, gays,” she went on. “Yay for the gays!”

Madonna danced along to “I Feel So Free” and her 2005 classic “Hung Up,” but most importantly stealthily debuted what sounded like at least two brand-new tracks from her upcoming “Confessions on a Dance Floor: Part II” album.

In the first new song, she sings, “We’re all waitin’ for our freedom,” holding the last note as the song dissolves into a hedonistic house anthem.

The crowed was into it, chanting, “Madonna! Madonna! Madonna!”

She also played a track seemingly called “Love Sensation.”

The purpose of the party was to celebrate the birthday of Abbey owner Tristan Schukraft, who is known as “The CEO of Everything Gay,” so Madonna brought him out and bent him over for his birthday whacks while serenading him with the least wholesome rendition of “Happy Birthday” ever.

This full circle moment hit different until I discovered that the vintage pieces that I wore went missing – my costume that was pulled from my personal archives – jacket, corset, dress and all other garments. In such quiet times, you may have missed the news we shared about Madonnatribe leaving Twitter after 18 years, so please bear with us if we ask for a moment of your time to explain again why.

Madonnatribe has always been about creating a space where fans could gather together and share their love for the artist that changed our lives. That’s what “where the Tribe adores the Idol” meant for us from day one.

For 18 years Twitter has been the social media platform we used the most to reach out to those who were not reading our News page or did not register to our Forum. Twitter was a good platform for us to share breaking news and updates, get in touch with even more fans, and receive precious feedback and comments from everyone.

As you all know, that version of Twitter doesn’t exist anymore.

At the end of 2024, we felt X was no longer a safe place and as Madonna fans we realized we had to be active there where each and every one of us feels at home, loved, safe, respected, appreciated and free.
We made our farwell post there on February 4 last year, an one year later, we can’t be more proud of this decision.

We were also aware that switching from a profile with 20k followers to a new one on a different platform – starting from scratch – was not going to be easy. It was harder than we expected, but we have no regrets.
We still feel that Bluesky is the right choice and we warmly invite you to join us there if you haven’t done it yet.

Madonna’s longtime friend and manager Guy Oseary set the record straight after his words were reported incorrectly in two stories from Variety and Billboard following the Queen of Pop’s iconic performance at the Coachella Festival last weekend.

The articles headlines, that previously reported that Oseary was not sure she’ll tour again have both been amended following the remarks that he shared on his Instagram stories:

Not true. I was asked “are we going tỏ see her on tour’… I said “not sure yet”… I never said “not sure she’ll tour again”… that’s ridiculous. Of course she will tour again. She wants to share her music with her fans. Not sure yet the plans. Stay tuned!

 Sabrina Carpenter Brings Out Madonna at Coachella Weekend Two Headlining Set

Sabrina Carpenter brought out Madonna as a surprise guest during her Coachella weekend two headlining set Friday night, with the two pop superstars performing Vogue, Like A Prayer and a new track together.

The Queen of Pop hit the stage while the Grammy winner was singing Juno, at the iconic moment where Carpenter sings her lyric, “Have you ever tried this one?” The track then cut to Madonna’s iconic Vogue, and the two sang the hit together before continueing with a new song from the former artist’s upcoming Confessions II.

“Sabrina, thank you so much for inviting me on your show,” Madonna said. “No thanks needed, Madonna. You can have whatever you want,” Carpenter replied.

Before wrapping the set with Like A Prayer Madonna had a joke to crack about Carpenter’s height.

The other thrilling thing I need to point out to everybody right now is this probably the first time I’ve ever performed with someone who’s shorter than me. So, thank you for giving me that experience.

Carpenter replied: Amen!

Madonna Teams Up With Sabrina Carpenter at Coachella for Transcendent Duets: ‘Vogue,’ ‘Like a Prayer’ and New Song

After rumors swirled that she would appear at Coachella weekend one, Madonna made a cameo during Sabrina Carpenter’s headlining performance on Friday night, emerging near the end of the set to perform Vogue, Like a Prayer and a new duet.

Carpenter was midway through Juno — typically the song on her “Short ‘n Sweet” tour where she’d “arrest” a different celebrity — to bring out Madonna, who emerged through the middle of the stage to sing Vogue, joining Carpenter to debut a new duet that’s rumored to be on the singer’s upcoming album Confessions II. Then, Madonna took the mic to give an extended address to the audience.

So 20 years ago today I performed at Coachella. I was in the dance tent and it was the first time I performed Confessions on a Dance Floor Pt. 1 in America, and that was such a thrill for me, so you can imagine what a thrill it is to be back 20 years later in the same boots, with the same corset, the jacket I had on earlier, a Gucci jacket. So it’s like a full circle moment, you know? Very meaningful for me.

Madonna also told the audience:

The great thing about music is that it brings people together. Am I right? It’s the one place that people have to put their differences aside. Put their shit down and everyone just have a good time togehter, right? So I am thrilled to be a part of that healing experience of bringing people together.
