New Music Debuts from Confessions II at Landmark Performance Live Streamed Globally in the Grindr App

Tonight, Grindr – the Global Gayborhood in Your Pocket – and Madonna made history. In front of a record-breaking crowd, Madonna delivered an electrifying live performance giving the world its first taste of three new tracks from Confessions II – available everywhere July 3 via Warner Records.

Just thirty minutes after announcing the surprise show in the Grindr app, Madonna took over Times Square, stepping onto stage wearing a Dolce & Gabbana corset and ensemble. In addition to the new music, she performed a handful of songs from Confessions on a Dance Floor. As Madonna continues to encourage the community to connect in person, this once in a lifetime event brought thousands of people together and captured the unmistakable spirit and energy of her beloved city.

The LGBTQ+ community has been with me from the beginning. We’ve inspired, challenged and stood by each other during both dark and joyful times. Partnering with Grindr feels like a celebration of that connection – safety in numbers.

Grindr reimagined the epicenter of Manhattan as the Global Gayborhood, with 15+ camera angles, live dancers, and the Grindr bus to celebrate this momentous occasion.

6 Madonna classic albums that were originally printed on coloured vinyl about ten years ago will be made available again to coincide with the release of Confessions II.

Like A Virgin, True Blue, Like A Prayer, Erotica (2LPs), Ray Of Light (2LPs) and Music were first released in several batches as part of a partnership between Warner and UK supermarket chain Sainsbury’s.

Sainsbury’s returned to selling vinyl in March 2016 for the first time since the 1980s, and following a great success later decided to extend the number of stores included in the initiative, adding limited edition coloured vinyls exclusive to their stock.

The first two Madonna exclusives were the limited red vinyl pressing of Like A Prayer and the blue vinyl pressing of  True Blue, originally released in October 2016.  The limited quantities quickly sold out at Sainsbury’s and in just a matter of days copies ended up at ridiculous prices on Ebay. But… quicky forwarding to March 2017… French record shop Fnac and other selected online retailers gave fans a second chance to get these same vinyls (some had even the same Sainsbury’s sticker) at a fair price.

The clear vinyl of Like A Virgin and candy blue vinyl of Ray Of Light (2LPs) followed in October 2017, and the white vinyl of Erotica (2LPs) and the blue vinyl of Music completed the set in October 2018.

Now these six LPs will be re-released on July 3rd, 2026 (or Confessions Day, if you will). The first online retailer reporting about the reissue is imusic.co.

CONFESSIONS II – 12-track Vinyl LP – Pride Edition

Madonna announced the release of the Pride limited edition of the 12-track Confessions II album.
Pressed on clear vinyl and coming in an exclusive double-sided photographic cover, the LP features the non-stop mix housed in a printed inner sleeve + poster.

This is the second release with an exclusive artwork, together with the Madonna X Bilt custom vinyl.
Madonna also posted a new promotional image from the same session of the cover photograph – which is also used by Hits Daily Double for their Madonna special issue.

After teasing that Madonna has a secret, Grindr revealed via an in-app banner that Motha will be live on stream on the app tomorrow, June 4. No further details have been announced at the moment.

Madonna invited British Kick streamer Gymskin to her Marylbone townhouse last night, with the encounter streamed live on the social media star channel. who brought Into the Groove back into the UK charts.

Gymskin, also known as Jack Smith, went viral for his shoulder-drop dance to Get Into the Groove (yep, that’s how M herself calls the song) and dominated TikTok and Instagram in March 2026, pushing the 1985 classic back into the UK Top 20 for the first time since September 1985.

Smith had teased a surprise on his social media ahead of yesterday’s stream, and after more than an hour strolling through the streets of London with his brother, the two walked through the open door of Madonna’s home.

Madonna was waiting for him seated at her desk on the ground-floor office, sipping a Campari Grapefruit cocktail and wearing an unreleased blue shirt designed by Nike for the 2026/27 season of Chelsea F.C.

Bilt, the membership that connects where you live with the places you love, today announced an exclusive collaboration with Madonna to celebrate the July 3 release of Confessions II, the highly anticipated follow-up to her acclaimed 2005 album Confessions on a Dance Floor. The collaboration anchors one of the year’s biggest album launches to a full-circle moment in New York City, the city she has referred to as the “greatest teacher.”

As part of the collaboration, Bilt is covering one month of studio rent for every musician currently leasing space at The Music Building, the legendary rehearsal facility at 584 Eighth Avenue in Midtown Manhattan where Madonna once lived and formed the beginning of her music career. Founded in 1979, The Music Building has served as a working home for generations of New York artists — a place where musicians at every stage of their careers have come to rehearse, write, and find their footing in one of the world’s most demanding creative cities. Confessions On a Dance Floor is Gold in Italy

• Congratulations to Madonna and Warner Records Italy as Confessions On a Dance Floor is now gold under the new certification system introduced in 2009 by Fimi, the Italian Federation of Music Industry.Under the new certification system, the original Confessions album, released in 2005, sold more than 25,000 units from January 2009 on, achieving the gold status in week no. 21 this year.

  Before the introduction of the new data collection system in 2010 the album was certified multiple platinum.
