My name is Maria Fernanda Hernandez. I’m 21 years old. I’m from Bogota Colombia but I live here since 2006. I’m studying Industrial Engineer at URBE. My parents live in Colombia and I live here with my uncle and my cousin. In my vacation I always go to Colombia to visit my family and friends, I miss all of them but I also have a big family here too, so T love Bogota and Maracaibo too.

I think the life teach you a lot of things about you. Until now I learn to know my strengths and weaknesses

I love my career, for me is the most important engineer because is the base of all organizations. The Industrial Engineer needs to know about systems, materials, quality, mathematics and others topics. I think is a beautiful career and very interesting too.

My ideal job have to be in the project planning area because is the Industrial area that enjoy the most, also I like to have to go around or work and treat a lot of people . In my ideal job I have to love the organization that I’m working in and have a good boss, also I like that the organization have a lot of benefic for their employees like parties and plays.

My ideal boss is someone that has to be a good leader, responsable and has a nice job method with his employees, also I love that my boss teach me a lot about the working and take my opinion in consideration. A ideal boss need to be like a mentor for me.

Here in Venezuela my career have a lot of field because in all the organization needs an Industrial Engineer but also this career have a lot of competition, for example here at URBE our classmates are the next competition on the work field, for beat that competition you need to be prepare and be a pretty good with you work. I think here in Venezuela have more opportunities that in others countries so I think that the Industrial Engineer need to be prepare for the competition.

I like to work in another country like Canada or France because I like to know about different work cultures and the pay is better, but if I work here it would be nice too. In my case I think I will work here because my cousin offer me a job that I think is a nice job, so in the future I have to work here but if the opportunity came for work in another country I took it.

The Project seeks to educate URBE students about waste reduction and responsible environmental behaviors through the 4Rs (reduce, reuse, recycle and rot) concepts. The URBE Program offers a comprehensive approach, including educational programs, teacher training and technical support for the university district, with the following three goals in mind:

We decide create at recycling Project for Urbe so we want to teach all the community how to recycle on the university.

First we need to know what the recycle is: “is the reprocessing of old materials into new products, with the aims of preventing the waste of potentially useful materials, reducing the consumption of fresh raw materials, reducing energy usage, reducing air and water.Recyclable materials may originate from home, business or industry. The job interview is a process when one person or the company are evaluated one potential employee. And if you want the job you need to be preparing for different things.

Project Planning is part of project management, which relates to the use of schedules such as Gantt charts to plan and subsequently report progress within the project environment. The value of a project plan in saving time, money and many problems.

This article teach the steps for a good project planning that you can use for future projects

The first thing you must do is create a project plan and follow the steps

Step 1 Project Goals

As a first step it is important to identify the stakeholders in your project. It is not always easy to identify the stakeholders of a project, particularly those impacted indirectly. Examples of stakeholders are:

The project sponsor

The customer who receives the deliverables

The users of the project outputs

The project manager and project team

Step 2 Project Deliverables

Using the goals you have defined in step 1, create a list of things the project needs to deliver in order to meet those goals. Specify when and how each item must be delivered.

Step 3 Project Schedule

Create a list of tasks that need to be carried out for each deliverable identified in step 2. For each task identify the following:

The amount of effort (hours or days) required to complete the task

The resource who will carryout the task

Once you have established the amount of effort for each task, you can workout the effort required for each deliverable and an accurate delivery date. Update your deliverables section with the more accurate delivery dates.

It’s been 12 years since the Virginia Department of Education established a children’s engineering program for kindergarten through fifth grade. Well, I want to know which are the opinions about engineering, so I ask my friends and they told me:

Jesus: he thinks that Industrial engineering is one of the earliest fields in which you can utilize computers in research, education, and practice. He said that you need more practice, experience, and knowledge to become into a good engineering. His future plans are work in a company, study English in the cevaz and go to London to practice. And finally He recommended engineering as a career because “this career is very important for the improvement of the Community and the world because this help to create enterprises, buildings, hospital, technology and others"

Ricardo: he thinks that Engineering is the art of creation and Innovation, applying methods, processes, technology and ingenuity for a best quality of life. He told me that to become an engineer it’s very important to know very well the discipline of acquiring and applying scientific and technical knowledge to the design, analysis, and the construction of works for practical purposes. It’s also very important to have a good knowledge about mathematics. He wants on the future to work in his father company and becomes into an important industrial engineering
