We’ve just finished the beta version of our SECPay module, we’ll also be completing a MetaCharge one to match the full suite of PayPoint services (we’re partners).

We haven’t decided pricing yet but any beta testers will receive a free version.

Adam over at QBI told me today he might look into creating a version for magneto

He created a fantastic quickbooks integration for the zen/osC family of carts. I used it on both zen cart and CRE loaded and was very pleased. I think he has a free version and paid version that doesn’t cost much and comes with some extra features/support.

Heute habe ich etwas sehr langwieriges ausprobiert. Da ich es als Test und Mehrung meiner Erkenntnisse betrachte, brauch ich mich nicht zu ??rgern.

Erkenntnis Nr. 1
Planung macht eine Menge arbeit >> Attribute ver??ndern + [??bermitteln]. Ich war also frohen Mutes und w??hlte alle Produkte aus, um dann die neue Steuerklasse zuzuordnen.

231 Produkte dauerten 4,5 Std. !!! Der Fortschrittsbalken ein Freund und Begleiter. Ich glaube ich werde das n??chste Mal etwas sparsamer mit dieser Option umgehen. Aber ich h??tte es wissen m??ssen. f??r 10 Produkte habe ich auch schon Mal 12 Minuten gewartet. Wollen wir hoffen, dass die n??chste Steuer??nderung noch auf sich warten l??sst - naja in jedem Fall l??sst uns Magento dann etwas warten. - Ach ja… Steuersatz brauch ich nur an einer Stelle ??ndern.

Wer in der N??he des Mengenfeldes zum Warenkorb-Button einen ??sthetischen Reiz sieht, der kann die Standardeinstellung in boxes.css lassen, wie sie ist.

Wer sich etwas mehr Raum w??nscht, der kann dem Mengenfeld auch nach unten etwas mehr Luft verschaffen. Er muss dazu nur die boxes.css Datei an folgender Stelle anpassen:

.product-info-box .qty-box { float:left; margin-right:5px; margin-bottom: 4px; }

wobei der Eintrag margin-bottom: 4px; hinzugekommen ist. Er sorgt f??r den 4-Pixelabstand nach unten.

Hinweis: Die Alternative w??re ein Eintrag unter .qty, allerdings kollidieren im IE regelm????ig width mit padding und margin-Einstellungen, weshalb man ja so oft die margin, und padding-Einstellungen in einen wrappende css-Klasse auslagert (wie in diesem Fall nach .qty-box

Wen es nicht st??rt, dass der Firefox, und Safari (m??glicherweise auch andere Browser) einen Sprung zur Seite macht, wenn die Darstellungsh??he gr????er als die Bildschirmh??he ist, der kann auf die standardm????ige CSS-Einstellung vertrauen. Wer eine schnelle Abhilfe m??chte, der k??nnte folgenden Weg gehen. Ich wurde dabei von yaml (einem CSS-Framework: http://www.yaml.de) inspiriert.

I’m actually hosting Magento on HostMonster , but it’s run by the same company and has (basically) the same features. Anyway, I was able to install successfully through Simple Scripts (in the Software/Services section of cPanel), which was (as the name suggests) simple! It created the database for me and had it up and running in a few minutes. You can easily use it to add multiple magento installs, so you can use one as a “test bed” for new features/upgrades and try different things without messing up the live store.

It’ scurrently installing version 1.0.19870, then you can use the admin Connect Manager to upgrade to the latest. The only glitch I encountered was that after upgrading, I needed to enable “Fast CGI” to get things to work correctly, otherwise a couple of the scripts were throwing 500 errors.

I just completed the install over the July 4th holiday weekend. If I was smart like riddle930, I would have enabled ssh long ago.
After uploading the files (using ftp), I noticed that the installer did not recognize some of the required extensions required. I then looked at the PHP setup, and changed from PHP5 Fast CGI to PHP5. After that change, the install went smoothly.

I am using paypal and authorize.net and have to go back to both to refund. Shouldn’t Magento be doing this without my having to go login to paypal or authorize.net?

Using Magento version 1.0 did anyone figure out how to connect to a data feed? I’m very new to magento, and XML but understand the basics. I have a few vendors for which I’d like to set up feeds, but I don’t have a clue on where to begin.

Etter mye frem og tilbake er Magento oppe ?? g??r p?? serveren. Beklageligvis g??r det ufattelig tregt (p?? Domeneshop.no’s server) , men pga. kult konsert, enkelhet pr??ver jeg ?? finne en l??sning og vil jobbe videre.

Har leita litt etter ei norsk side som er oppe ?? g??r 100% med Magento, men uten treff.

Which Magento Theme Is This . . . . ??

Okay - On the Magento Home Page *currently) there is a graphic displaying a handful of themes. The one in the middle is obviously the “Modern Theme.” What I am trying to figure out is which theme is the one directly to the left of the Modern Theme - the one that says “Magento Demo” in the header.

Anyone know? Is this an available theme, or perhaps a modification of another theme?

I am troubleshooting a data migration from os commerce to Magento. I have yet to confirm this but it appears that when importing customer records into magento with the newsletter field set to yes that the magento system emailed all those customers an email that only said “Newsletter Subscription Success”

Is there a cron that runs on that or how does that happen. I’m trying to track down the process that did this so it doesn’t happen again.
