It's now the end of January, how quickly it came and went! I am simply amazed at how time seems to go so fast. My plans this year are bigger then ever with goals and dreams coming alive every day! Even though this month went by pretty fast with out me doing everything I wanted, I am still committed to accomplishing everything this year I have planned. This first month of the new year went by fast which tells me I had better get going quickly so as not to waste the rest of the year. This month my plan is to attend the Capital Choice convention in Jacksonville Florida. I am taking a week vacation in order to go and I am looking forward to it very much!
I am also working on my first apartment building project with many more to come this year. So far the plan is to finish the insurance license which along with the mortgages will give me much product to sell.
The main reason I enjoy working with this company is because they are showing me how to put money back into peoples pockets instead of just putting it back into mine.

Once I finish with the license and seminar's I will be well on my way to being able to provide quality products that will put money in people's pockets that they can then invest in their future's with. What greater concept in today's financial times then to be able to teach people how to make money and have the money to do it with.

Then the goal is to aquire as much real estate as I can while also producing an income stream that will last me the rest of my life. I will pay off all of my debts while at the same time still have money to live with at my current lifestyle paid for! To me, that's the ultimate dream, to live the lifestyle you choose and have it guaranteed and paid for with no debt owed to anyone!

That is my dream, to have ever debt paid off unless it's real estate and cash flowing for me, along with my current lifestyle monthly bills paid for on auto-pay every month on time and guaranteed!!!

In order to reach this goal I must make enough sale's to pay all the debts, then have the proper cash flow coming in everymonth to be debited automatically in order to pay the bills.
Another way to do this is to set up an annuity that pay's out a guaranteed amount each month sizable enough to cover it all.
This is my ultimate goal and I am commited to making it all happen this year! I am not worried about getting a slow start, at least I have a date set for the test to get my license and the seminar to set me in the right direction to hit the ground running for spring and summer this year.
Spring is normally the time when real estate starts moving, lot's of For Sale by Owner's and people moving which means lot's of opportunities will arise. With that in mind, my goal between now and then is to be organized enough to take advantage of it and then use those procceeds to purchase my freedom from debt.
Then I will cash flow everything to cover the monthly bills while still setting some aside for the future using annuities, not to mention insurance to cover it all.
Once I reach this point, and my goal for that is June 1st this year, I will then be able to spend time on other research and hobbies or activities I have allway's wanted to learn.
Some of the things I plan to do this year is piano & dancing lessons along with trips accross the states in my own private motorcoach to play chess, billiard and poker tournaments in every city and state possible.
I will then spend some time in the studio doing some musical recordings and set up to film a movie. I will also set up a complete computer room with servers that are focused directly at my online endeavors so as to produce multiple online income streams to will facilitate my current holdings while expanding the real estate and other brick and motor businesses I already have.

I know it sounds like a lot to do but NOW is the time!!! You can say what you want to about me but one thing has and allway's will remain true, I have more ambition then I sometime's know what to do with!!
The main thing is to make the energy, desire and will to work for me instead of against me. I will no longer accept a life of mediocrity!! I will attain all the things I desire in this life and I am going to do it on my own terms with integrity and hard work!!

Bold Brave new Year!

It's a new year once again! I believe that this is going to be the best year I have ever had!

I am looking forward to advancing new ideas and working towards my dreams this Year! So far the new year has started off on the right foot for me. Even though I have a hard time believing another year has come and gone, I am excited about the future of this one!

I have finally put into motion some new things I have always wanted to do, for instance, started my new office,
got a new ride and am getting organized like never before.

There have been many times over the years where I have taken steps towards my dreams and made advances only to have fallen short. During those times I was excited that I took action and enjoyed some success but never reached my true objective to the fullest. While I enjoyed some momentum I never seemed to break through the barrier that was holding me back from being all that I knew I was capable of.

This year is different. I feel as if all of those earlier preparations have led me to the current place of finally being prepared for action. I now feel that I am ready to finally realize the full potential of what I know lies inside me to do while I am on this planet.
Even though I am happy to moved in the right direction in the past, I was dismayed when things didn't work out as planned. I always felt that I knew I could do it and no matter how hard I tried it just never seemed to come through. The frustrating part for me was the not knowing why? I never could figure out how I could only go so far, but I am convinced that if I hadn't of tried then that I would not get there now either. What I mean is, even though I didn't make it back then, I know that if I hadn't tried then, I wouldn't be where I am now. In other words, my past efforts are what lead me to where I am now.
I am currently in a place where all those preparations and failed attempts will finally pay off! It's like the saying goes, if you fail, then, try try again! I have kept on trying even though I haven't had the results I wanted in the past, I know that because I kept trying I am finally getting it right, and this time, it will happen!!

Many failed attempts are only devastating if you let them be. You see, I always knew that I would make it, I just didn't know when or how. I know now that if I hadn't tried and failed I would not be where I am today.
I don't want to make it seem like I've made it yet because I haven't but I am so very close, closer then I have ever been before. All of those failed attempts have taught me to keep going no matter what. I have learned from them and kept going even when it seemed all was lost and it's because of that I believe I am finally going to reap the rewards for my past efforts and that I will reap them all this year!!

I feel the stage is finally set for me to move on and finally accomplish my dreams and to do it this year! I believe that this will be the best most prosperous year of my life! It is finally happening because I have taken the time and made effort to put my dreams in front of me and go for them no matter what.
I think the key is to just do it! Don't wait for everything to be right or perfect, just go ahead with your plan, keep going with until you get there even if you have to do it the hard way.
For me, one of the things that used to always hold me back was the thinking that I had to have this or that before I could start and nothing could be further from the truth. If you want to do something then all you have to do is start moving in that direction. Yes, It would be nice if you could do it the easy way but we all know that's never going to happen so why wait for it? If you continue to wait until it looks like everything will work out before you move then you will be standing in one spot for a very long time watching the traffic go by.
Maybe this isn't news to you, maybe your the kind of person that already has all of this figured out, and if so, then more power to you, but for me, I had to work through it to see the obvious. I am simply excited that things are finally starting to happen and that the stage is set to finally get to the place in my life where money is no object.
I am tired of worrying about quite frankly and I want to spend my time on other things, like playing the piano and making music or filming a movie, not to mention starting a family and spending time with them.
There are so many things I still want to do and I am excited that this year I will finally put to rest the money issue.
There is much more to life then making money and those are the things I am focusing on. My excitement is that I have finally found a way to do both. I can still make the money needed to live the life style I have always wanted while still enjoying all the things life has to offer along the way.
I can help people and operate from a win win stance in every dealing be it personal or business while still bringing home the needed bacon. I can have fun along the way and enjoy the ride while knowing that everything will eventually be taken care of if I simply continue to march forward into my dream land with guns blazing!

Yes, you read that right, Huey Lewis said it best "IT'S HIP TO BE SQUARE!".

Some say that the nice guy finishes last, not true! I will be the first to tell you that all though I am
a nice guy, I refuse to finish last! You see, the world seems to think that to get ahead in life one
must cheat his way to the top or take advantage of someone, you know, step on the little guy on
your way to the top. Most people seem to think it's all a "zero sum" game, where someone must
lose in order for someone else to win.
I am here to tell you that is simply not true. I think of things as a win win for everyone involved.
My goal in everything I do is to make everyone get more then they expected from the deal or the situation.
I once heard of a real estate business man who operated off of this principle and he said that his reputation
grew because of it and that he always had more business then he knew what to do with because of this way
of thinking.
If everyone you come into contact with got more from you then expected when dealing with you, be it personal
of business dealings, then rest assured, you would be a well sought after person!
Personally, I am tired of everyone constantly taking advantage of each other, to me, it only makes sense to do
it a better way.
Ever since I heard of this philosophy I have tried to live by it in all my dealings, be it personal or business. I can
honestly say it has brought me great joy! When you do things for people that they are not expecting it opens
their eyes and makes them think that just maybe there is still some good in this world.
They are so taken back by it that they have to stop what they are doing and take a step back just to take a look at the situation, to admire it for all that it is.
This inspires hope in people, hope and belief that something greater then themselves is at work. This is a much
better way of doing business then you would ever imagine. Now people want to do business with you, they look forward to seeing you each time you have dealings and they refer more business to you then you may ever have the time to take care of.

In short, don't stop believing in the basic good in people. Help them see it and know that it is still there by showing them hope through your personal and business dealings with them. Believe me, you will be amazed at how much more your life is enriched by showing people hope rather then taking all you can get and leaving them nothing but frustration.
People need to be inspired and if your one person they can look to it will only help them and you both to live life to the fullest!

So, as the saying goes, "it's hip to be square", to me that means it's not only ok for you to approach people and situations in an honest way, but, it's also the coolest thing you can do in life!!

My new RIDE Miracle!!

Another Week without my car has been interesting, fun, and stressful. I don't want to let go of my Audi, it's the best car I have ever had! Last week I wrote about using this little hick up in the road as an opportunity and that is exactly what I have done.
Even though it's been stressful to be without my car I can have enjoyed walking to the office everyday to work. It has led to some good exercise and time with friends and family I wouldn't normally have had I simply jetted around town in my car.

I am happy to say that I have finally located the perfect replacement vehicle! I am excited to pick it up next week too! Funny thing, I actually am helping the car salesman with his mortgage, so, not only is he helping me get a car, but I am helping him pay for his house! I love how this worked out and even though the bank doesn't like the idea due to my credit, its ok, I know it was meant to be and that is my car!

I have had fun making this deal and since I am a praying man I must give the glory to god for helping me find the car I need to have and helping work out this situation which is turning into a win win deal for all!!
Doing a deal that is a win win for each party is the only way I do business! My motto is to help each member of the deal to get more then they expected. It's a practice I heard of years ago and it fit's my style.
There are plenty of people out there trying to rob you blind but what none of them understand is that there is plenty of money out there for everyone and if you help enough people get what they want you will get what you want too!!

My goal with this car deal is to find a way to satisfy the Bank, the seller of the new car and the mechanics who have the old one!
It's a challenge to say the least but I am confident that God is leading me and helping find a way to get it done and that's exactly what I am going to do. With his help, I am going to find a way to make the bank happy and give them more then they want

Carless and loving it!!

Once again I find my self with an excellent opportunity to find the positive in a tough citutation. I've been at work now for 12 straight hours with no ride home due to the car being in the shop again. This is the second week in a row that I have battled being on foot. Finding a ride home is Tough due to the hours I work. I am the graveyard supervisor for the poker room at a local casino which means I can't go home if there is still a game going.
I'm scheduled to leave at 7am but if the poker game goes all night I have to stay till 9am for relief to arrive. I don't mind working a few extra hours now and then but it does make it hard to plan my mornings since I never know what time I'm going to get out. Then there are other days when I get to leave early, even as early as 5 or 6am and that's the fun part!

Its nice to get home while its still dark outside because I sleep better!
Normally its not a problem, the only frustration is needing to leave early for an appointment but getting stuck until late because I'm at the mercy of the poker players will, if they decide to play longer then normal it can be frustrating if I know people outside are waiting on me.
All in all its not so bad, like I said, the trade off is getting to leae early on other days, so being stuck one in a awhile is a small price to pay to enjoy starting my weekend early.
Today, not only did I have to stay late, but, on top of that I now have no ride home and this is the second week in a row I've had to stay until 12noon before getting to go home.
I've done my share of complaining in my lifetime so now I am deciding to think differently and have a good attitutde even though I am tired and normally wouldn't.
You see, that's the cool thing about us humans, we really do have control over the way we feel, we just have to decide to use it.
Even though its a bummer having to catch rides for a couple weeks, I've actually enjoyed it! Its given me a chance to get reacuainted with friends on the day shift, plus having time to chat with people in the car that I normally wouldn't spend time with.
What I am saying is, sometimes its good to break up the daily ruteen, it helps you see things in a different light.
So today, even though I'm tired and annoyed that I can't find a ride, I am happy to have some time to write in my blog!!
I don't know aout you, but I am a creature of habit and starting a new habit of using my time wisely by writing in my blog is definately a good thing!
So, once again, I am excited today to have found the positive in my cituation and I'm hoping that you can too!

The Silver Lining in the Clouds

It's been another interesting week in the life of Magic Mike Coffee! Have you ever had one of those day's where everything just seemed to go the wrong way? That has been the case for me this week, it seems that anything that can go wrong has somehow seemingly hit me all at the same time. While I am no stranger to adversity it can be disapointing when you try so hard to do everything the right way and keep getting knocked down at every turn.
I don't know why but for some reason it seems that every time I try to move forward and pursue my dreams I keep running into the same problems. In this case, it's my car again. I can't tell you how many times my car has broken down right when I'm on the verge of making something positive happen in my life. For some reason it just seems to be the cross that I must bear, I take one step forward and then my car decides to go on the blink.
It has happened so many times that I can't begin to tell you how coincidental it seems to be!
Even though, I once again, have to deal with my car being in the shop, I am not stopping or letting off the gas on my Dreams!
I have decided this time that no matter what I am going to make it happen!! Everyone deals with adversity at some point in their lives and I am no different. The difference is in how we deal with that adversity. I have chosen to embrace it this time. I am welcoming any and all things that can go wrong with wide open arms. I am saying to adversity, bring it on, let's see what you got!! I know I have what it takes to make it in this world and I am not alone, I have God on my side along with good friends and family and I am going to make it happen this time no matter what and that's just all there is to it!!
For example, the day my car went into the shop I still kept my appointments at the office!! I had several new clients coming in for various reasons and instead of getting mad about the car I decided to keep on working!
When I was stuck at work for many hours waiting on a ride I took the opportunity to talk with friends I haven't seen in a long time. Yes, for the moment I still have a "day job" and it's a 24hr operation which means many people will continually switch shifts. Because of this there are many people I won't see for a long time due to them working day's while i'm on nights. So, I realized that being stuck at work during the day this week It gave me a chance to talk with many people I hadn't seen in awhile and inform them of my new venture.
I even had to walk to work one day and hitch a ride using the old thumb! As dangerous as that is these day's I took it as an opportunity to get out and meet people while walking.
I used to just sit and watch T.V. on the weekends and basically do nothing all day and now, because of the car being down I am out walking the streets and talking to people I would have never met if I had stayed home or driven to work.
I guess what I am saying this week is that even though life throws you a curve ball you can still turn things around if you simply use it as an opportunity to learn or enjoy new things.
So don't let life get you down, if the car goes to the shop, then get out and walk, meet some new people and keep shooting for the stars because they are out there and you can reach them if you just try hard enough!!

I am happy my car went down this week, it gave me a chance to slow down and do some walking and enjoy being outside for a bit while getting some much needed exercise while meeting some new people along the way!
So if you get down on yourself, try to see the silver lining in that cloud of yours. Look around and see what you can learn out of the cituation your in and make the best of it, try to enjoy the little things and you while be surprised at how many doors will open to you just for trying and deciding to have a good attitude even though!

As "cheesy" as it may seem, I am excited to have my new printer set up in the office! It's exciting to help people with their finances by finding ways to save and put money back into their pockets!
This is why I am excited, I know its just a printer, but the things it will produce are awesome because now people can see their numbers right away and take them home which helps them plan ahead. Most people have never seen their net worth in writing and now when they come in I can show them and print out their possible future for them.
To me its amazing that some one can come in with no idea os where they are financially and by the time they leave they now have a printed plan of where they are and see exactly where they want to go, in writing, a step by step plan they can use from now on.
As the saying goes, most people fail to plan and that's why they get stuck in rut. Knowing what your finances look like in writing and then having a written plan of where you want to go and how to get there are the most important thing one can do to relieve themselves of the daily financial pressure we all feel at times throught our lives.
That's why having the ability to produce a printed report, is to me, a very cool thing to have!
So I welcome all of yhou to come down to my new office and get your ow printed financial report and see how powerful it is to have your very own financial plan in writing to move you closer to the things you want in life!

First days business!!

With my new office I finally feel like I'm comming into my own! Its nice to have a place to work where I can sit down and start putting things on paper!

Today was great, I tok some friends of mine out on the town ad showed them how to clean windows. They were very excited to learn how easy the business is and they made some money along the way too! It allways excites me to show someone who is hungry for work how to go out and put some money in their pocket. Like the saying goes, "give a man a fish and you feed him for one day, teach a man how to fish and you feed him for life!" Today I got the chance to do just that, and I have to say, it was a lot of fun!

That's what having this office is all about, its a place to meet with people to help them with their needs and a place for me to work. I love it!
I've spent a lot of money over the years doing things that ment nothing, like playing poker for instance, If I can spend money sensisly in that then I can also do this.
People are asking me, mike, why do you have an office when you already have a good job, do you really need an office? The answer is, no, I don't NEED it, but I say why not? Like I said, if I can spend money on junk, then why not do something nice for someone! Why not have my own place where I can work on the things that I enjoy doing and be in a proffesional setting where I can meet with people and help them, even if that help may only be inspirational!
I think all of us at some point in our lives have had ideas we would like to work on but for some reason we never do. I know that in my case, having a new place to go to that is seperate from my house makes me spend my creative time more wisely.
There's nothing wrong with having a seperate room in the house for an office or special projects and while that's a fun way to do it, I've found that it doesn't work for me, I need a seperate place away from the home to come to and create.
I allways liked the idea of having a setup at the house but I've found that I tend not to have the same focus.
By seperating the two domains I enjoy them more, when I'm at the office I'm working and creating and when I'm at home I'm relaxing!

So that's the story and s far I'm lovin it!

My new OFFICE OPENS today!

Today I celebrate the opening of my new office Capitol Choice Finacial Group! Primarily focussing on Mortgages, although, other financial products such as insurance & investments is soon to follow.
For now, my focus is on real estate investments & financing. This is a new venture for me of which I am truely excited!!
Today is the official opening date and I am looking forward to the challenges and success ahead.

New Year, New Game Plan

It's a new year and I am excited about the oportunities coming my way. First off, even though I didn't hit my goal last year of becoming debt free through real estate, I did learn some valuable lessons. One of which is, that there is nothing wrong with living inside your means. What I mean by that is simply, it's easy to get carried away with lofty goals and over extend ones self but in order to stay afloat I had to downsize. I also learned that even though i love living in my own home there is something nice about being in an all bills paid cituation. It's a lot less stressful and until im ready to finish and house and set down roots there is no need for me to over extend my finances and stress myself out.
The possibilities of the new year are simple for me yet still exciting. One is to narrow my focus to one project and see it through to completion before starting another. there is nothing wrong with doing multiple deals at a time but it helps to have a team for it to work properly, for now, since i am still single handed, i must focus on one thing and make that work before i move on.
I have also reconnected with some old friends from years past and it has opened up new avenues of stress releasing activities that i feel will keep me on tract by refreshing my mental activity on a regular basis which in turn will help to keep me for effective in my endeavors.

All in all, I am looking forward to the new year and to start blogging again like i used to last year. I miss thinking on paper and having feed back on the things that interest me and cant wait to get started again.

So to all my readers, I appologize for being gone so long and i look forward to hearing from you soon with the new posts i will provide in the near future! I wish you well in all your efforts and hope to see you on the other side of success!

I’m having trouble deciding where to go for vacation. Vegas can be more fun then one human should have, like the saying goes, "what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas". It’s also a dream come true for any poker player, action around the clock for any amount you desire. Last time I was there poker was just getting big so there wasn’t as much to choose from. Now you can get any game for any limit you want 24-7.
Although I work in a poker room the limitations on game selection can be frustrating. Personally I like a good limit game but when there is only one to choose from (normally 3/6) it’s hard to find any good players for higher limits. Unfortunately, these day’s, everyone wants to play no-limit. Don’t get me wrong, I like the game but prefer to play it tournament style. If I do decide to play no-limit it’s usually 1/2, I would play higher but lack the bankroll. NL can be fun but for me sometimes I just want a comfortable limit game. I like batting heads with the best of them but not every time I play, sometimes I just want enjoy the game without having to play for my whole stack on every hand.
Limit’s a tougher game to make money at if your looking for a big score, usually your pushing small edges while spending most of your time waiting for those type of hands. NL is fun because you have some betting power, but like I said, sometimes I just want to have some fun without playing for everything in my pocket, and that’s what limit provides.
The problem with limit here is that there is only one game to choose from. What people don’t understand is that if you played for a higher limit such as 10/20 or 20/40, it can get very juicy in a hurry! At those limits dragging a $500 pot is common place and makes all the waiting much more worth the time.
If I do decide to go to Vegas this is what I will play. So, while I’m tempted to go get a good game while taking a week off from work, I’m also tempted to just get completely away from it all by doing a cruise.
I’ve never been on a cruise and I hear they are quite the fun thing to do. Ships today offer every amenity desirable and everything is right there in one place. Plus you get to see different ports of call and can tour them at every stop which kind of breaks up the monotony of sailing.
I am leaning heavily towards the cruise for several reasons, but mainly just to get away from it all. While I’m tempted to play a good game of poker in Vegas I’m thinking some time away from the casino would do me some good.
The main reason for Vegas was the deals, it’s a cheap vacation if you don’t gamble much. Even though that sounds fun I think laying out by the pool on the ship and dancing in the club at night sounds like a lot more fun. Plus I get to see the beach which living here is something I miss emensly.
I’ve also since learned that the fairs for cruises are pretty cheap these days too so going won’t cost me a mountain. I also like the fact that everything you could want to do is right there in one place, dancing, swimming, lounging and lot’s of good food are all included.
There are many activities to participate in and even dinners shows plus movies in your room and even an internet connection.
So, I’m still looking into both, I’m just excited that I finally get to go somewhere, a much needed vacation away from home that will hopefully recharge my batteries for the months to come.
Especially since I’ve not hit my goal this year yet, I could use some R&R and re-evaluate a new strategy to finish out the year.
I’ve decide to go soon, this way I can also celebrate my birthday.

Honesty is almost no where to found these days. In my experience, the act of actually telling the truth is often surpassed by all the little "white" lies we often get away with. We all know that in the end, honesty is always the best policy, but it sure is hard sometimes to resist giving a "glorified" version of the truth.
I’m not saying I have never stretched the truth in my favor, in fact, I think it’s safe to say we’ve all done it a time or two. I do however, still believe, that being "straight up" is the best way to go even when it’s not always the easiest.
Recently I’ve made some new friends at work, both of them being women. I’ve always been friendly at work, in fact, I make it a point to talk to anyone no matter their place on the corporate ladder. I like getting to know people of all ages and walks of life, in my opinion, it allows me to see things from different points of view.
In this particular case I’ve spent considerable time talking with both of the women in question and while I do find them both attractive, there is one in particular that has captivated my interest over the other. Since I’ve been out of the dating game for awhile I find it hard sometimes to understand or even catch any of the would be signals. I don’t fancy myself as a playboy at all but, then again, I have been around the block a time or two. While I don’t feel like an expert on the subject I do think I’m capable of up the occasional sign even if I may understand what it means at the time.
So, to get back to the story, I’ve spent some time trying to get to know these two women who have piqued my interest.
Both of them are very different from the other and to me that’s a good thing. Both are also very attractive in their own right and I feel honored to speak with them on any level.
There are different things I like about each one even though both women are interesting in different ways.
The one I like the most has spent lot’s of time with me lately and I’ve since decided that she is the one I am going to go for.
Interestingly enough, things were going along just fine until a curveball was thrown my way.
Things were going along nicely with the one I liked the most and then all of a sudden the other one asked me out! Now, I don’t want to sound like a two timer so let get one things straight, once I decided which one I like the best I pretty much stopped talking to the other. I wasn’t rude about it, all I am saying is, I didn’t try to get with both at the same time. Once I had decide which one I liked the most I pretty much just focused on her and stopped talking to the other. That’s when it got interesting, the one I was not focussing on asked me out!
I was flattered to say the least! This however presented a problem, if I said no to her and nothing works out with the other then I would be out of luck on both ends.
I know how most guys would think, they would try to go out with both at the same time, and I will admit, I was tempted to try it. So, here I was, getting along great with the one I liked the most and getting asked out by the other. This was a problem for me because I didn’t want to lose out on an opportunity but at the same time didn’t want to lead anyone on.
This is when I came up with the bright idea of being honest with both. Since I always thought honesty was the best way to go I figured I would just tell them both what I was thinking in the hopes that they would understand and appreciate my being straight up about it.
The only problem with this was the risk of losing both due to them thinking I was playing them some how, which is totally not the case. I was friends with them both and once I had set my sights on one had not interacted as much with the other. Since neither one knows I’m even interested in them it can hardly be considered underhanded. I simply met two people I liked, decided which one I wanted to spend time with and went from there. The interesting part is the fact that the one I pretty much stopped talking to all of sudden comes running. Like I said before, I was flattered and tempted but I had already decided which one I liked and was focusing in that direction when this came up.
I didn’t know what to do, on one hand, I was pleased at the progress between me and the one I liked but at the same time, didn’t want to lose out on a possibility with the other in case the first one didn’t work out. It dawned on me that I was thinking all wrong, if I really like the other one then nothing else should distract me from her. So I decided to honest with both, even though they didn’t know what was going on to begin with.
I decided to tell the one I liked that I had been asked out by another and that I was going to turn her down because I want to be with you. Then I was going to tell the one who asked me out that while I was flattered at the invite, it wouldn’t be fair for me to do so I really wasn’t interested in going any further.
I don’t know why I am so compelled to always tell the truth, I guess it’s because I figure it’s better to straight. In my opinion there is enough dishonesty in this world and I don’t want to be like everybody else. I want to do and say what I mean even if that’s not the normal way to go. Most guys in this situation would try to go for both, I decided not to. I am not most guys, I never have been. I’m not trying to toot my own horn or pretend that I’m some kind of angel, I’m simply saying that to me it’s more important to do the right thing. I have always been this way and am not going to apologize for it either. The old adage that "nice guys" finish last does not hold true for me.
I’ve decided that this is one nice guy who won’t finish last and will continue to be straight up about things even when and if it’s not popular.
I’m tired of cheats, I see them every night in the casino and what does it get them in the long run? Nothing but a lot of heart ache and bad beats.
So, back to the story, did exactly that, I told the one I like about the being asked out and that I turned her down because I want to be with you. She was surprised to say the least and I think my honesty paid off. We still talk and have a nice time together even though she has not said one way or the other about how she feels about me. As far as the other is concerned, I’m still flattered at the invite but hope she appreciates the honesty.
By being honest in this situation I was running the risk of losing them both, when in reality, all I wanted was the company of one. Once I realized that it made sense to be straight up. I am happy to say that so far the risk was well worth it. I continue to have a great friendship with the one I like with hopes of it going further and both of them seem appreciate the honesty from me.
It’s uncommon for someone, especially a guy, not to try to take advantage of a situation like this but that’s the way I like to be, uncommon!
I’m no prince, just a regular guy trying to make it the best way I know how in this world. I’ve had my share of setbacks but I still believe that honesty is the best policy and in this case that still holds true!
All I can say is, do what is right and do the best you can with what ever it is you have to work with and I promise you things will work out for the good. Don’t ever give up on that Idea either, because the moment we lose hope is when we start to die. I say keep hoping and doing and see what happens, the fight may be hard but well worth it in the end.
This is also my plan for business, to do the best with what I’ve got and work on making it better. Integrity is rare, especially in the corporate world, but that’s also what make’s it so valuable!

Have you ever wanted to start a Club? I've always wanted my own club, a place where I can unwind and relax after a hard days work.

There are many clubs in the city, mostly "meat markets" with no real atmosphere or imagination. When I say a club, I mean a real one, with a great dance floor, lights, sound and maybe even a stage! I don't want to see another neon beer sign on the wall, instead, how about some carpet, like some of that old shaggy seventies stuff? I mean use a good color of course, don't have some ugly bright orange thing going on but anything would be better than another blinking bud light sign in my face.

I get tired of the same old thing, why don't we have a cool place to go in this city? You know, like a euro peon style club complete with a stage and cool dj's.

Wouldn't it be cool to walk in and see a real light show or leather on the ceilings!

Realistically with today's computer technology the possibilities are endless! Think about this, what if you could swipe a members card at the door for entry? This same card could have all your personal settings included, such as, your favorite drink order, or lighting preferences at your favorite table that would automatically trigger when you swiped the card on entry!

The possibilities are endless and if the goal was to see how cool we could make it instead of the clubs profits then I think it would be a success. The problem with the business world today is getting the money. Since the money resources require a solid business plan one must focus to that end only. What I would like to see is a different motive, such as, let's just see how cool we can make instead how much money could or need to make.

The need to make a profit to cover the bill is understandable but sadly that becomes priority over the creative side. I would like to see creativity be the main purpose instead. I think if one were to go all out with the main purpose being to see how cool they could make it that in the end they would make more money then anticipated. Normally, they just try to show the a profit in order to get the money needed. If someone would approach with creativity being the main focus I think we would be amazed at the outcome!

Imagine having a place where the walls are actually screens showing any media one desire's! For example, they could have a beach night theme and when you walk in you would see waves crashing all across the walls of the room!

It would also be cool to have the ability to log in online and see who's there through a live cam or better yet, order your drink to be ready when you get there!

There are any number of possibilities but they either get lost in the lack of funding or the people who do put one up have no imagination at all.

I don't which is the cause but I do know that someday I will make a club with these ideas in mind. I think it would be so successful that they would put them up all over the country!

I just like the idea of imagination being the focus instead of anything else. Walt Disney demonstrated this with his ideas and they worked! Imagine a place where one could actually say, it's like a Disney World for adults! When I say that I don't mean it has to "raunchy", or "explicit" so to speak, I just mean it's a place for mom and dad to unwind and enjoy some time together. The kids have their places to go, from theme parks to the local mcdonalds swing set play area, but there are not to many place's for married couples to hang out.

I'm not saying single are not welcome, by all means, this is for everyone, I would just like to see a fun place for mom and dad to go, so to speak. Something besides going to the movies.

Some day I would love to create this environment, maybe once I get to a better point financially I can get it done, but for now, it's just a dream.

I think it's time for me to start playing some poker again. I have pretty much stopped playing this year, in fact, I haven't played live at all. It's unusual for me to not play, at least a little bit. My friend and I played a sit & go online several weeks ago and that has been the one and only time since the beginning of the year.

I love to play poker but have put it on the back burner in order to focus on other things, such as, my debt free goal and this blog. Even though I am committed to staying focused I realize that some down time can do a person some good. For this reason I am thinking it's time to get back into the action!

I love to play online and for now Full Tilt is the best site to play on for me. I used to make pretty good money online and to be honest, I kind of miss it. Playing online can be a very tricky thing, especially since there is some collusion going on. No one really knows how much or to what extent it exists but I think it's safe to say that it happens quite frequently.

Strangely the collusion doesn't bother me that much. Even though I know it exists I have still been able to produce a profit. I am not sure how or why, mostly I think one just has to play super tight in order to come out ahead.

One of the hardest things about playing online is the ability to resist playing to many tables at once. I like playing many tables simultaneously but it cuts down on the ability to really focus on one game. While simultaneous play is one of the benefits of playing online its also a the main reason people don't win. They try to play to many games at once and lose focus easily. I know because it's happened to me.

Another hard thing is staying focused online due to so many options, such as, surfing the web or checking mail while playing. Its nice to multitask and if your just playing for low limits or just for fun then it's no problem but doing anything serious can falter due to these activities.

My goal in playing online now is to come up with a system of play that exploits my abilities. Since I am good at playing sit & goes my plan is to focus on them. If I play no more then two tables at a time I can stay focused and make money at it.

There is also less collusion in tournaments because people cannot control which table their sitting at. For example, in a cash game, you might be the only "fish" at the table because everyone else at the table knows each other. In a tournament it's harder for them to set this up due to the computer randomizing the seating order.

This is especially true in bigger multi table events where there may be hundreds or even thousands of entrants. There is no way (that I know of) for cheaters to sit together and take your money.

It's easier for them to do so in smaller events such as sit an goes but even then it's still not a garauntee that they will get your money. They may know which cards are out but they cannot stop you from getting the best hand!

This only time to collusion is a problem for me is when they try to bet me out of the hand because they have more information about the cards that are out then I do. While that's not playing fair, I feel I can still beat them by knowing the odds as well as how well my hand would hold up over time. If I know what they are thinking or trying to do but I also know how good my hand is then they can try anything they want to, if my hand is good, then they are going down!

I could go on all day long about online playing and collusion, but all I am trying to say is this, I think developing a solid online strategy is possible. I also believe with the proper tools I could be successful at online play and would like to give it a shot again.

I've stayed away from poker this year for several reasons, one of which is the fact that I just don't have the time. My goal has been to develop better daily habits that will help me succeed in the long run verses just doing what sounds good or fun today.

I believe that once I can get my other projects off the ground and brining in some nice supplemental income that there will plenty of time to play later.

Since I have stayed committed to my goal this year and plan to keep doing so, I think having some down time may do me some good. Although I spend a lot of time in a poker room due to my job I still enjoy the game.

I think for now I'm going to get back to playing online again to work on developing a successful system of play that will help me reach my financial goals.

There are many poker sites out there to play on but Full Tilt is one of my faces, plus they have lot's of action and offer the kind of limits that suit my bankroll.

Unbelievably we are quickly reaching the middle of the year! It’s amazing to me how fast time flies. My goal when I started this blog was to list all the daily actions I take to become debt free by June 1^st this year. Since that time the blog has undergone many changes, one of which, is not keeping up with the daily posts. Even though I haven’t kept up with the daily posting I am glad that I am following through on my idea.

I think following through with something is the most important thing on the road to success, even when things don’t turn out the way you wanted or thought they would.

I don’t regret starting the blog or the progress I have made but I will say I wanted to be a closer to my debt free goal by now. I am by no means giving up on the idea, I still have plenty of time to sell a house or bring in some online income to make it happen.

Hopefully I can make my goal of becoming debt free by June 1^st, that’s my birthday and It would be the best present of all!

Circumstances have slowed me down a bit, such as, going through the hardest winter we have ever seen in Oklahoma. All though I don’t believe in excuses, I do know that life happens, the important thing is to keep moving forward in spite of any setbacks.

The ability to keep moving in the direction you seek while not letting the bad things slow you down is to me the most important quality anyone can exercise.

So, with that said, even though I’ve not kept up with the daily posts and the winter weather made it hard to get out and look at houses to do deals on, I am happy that I have kept it going. I have done the best with what I currently have to work with. If going outside wasn’t an option, then I would simply take that as an opportunity to work in doors, such as, working online.

Since posting daily has been a challenge, I decided to at least post often as opposed to nothing at all. Instead of giving up on my goal because time is running short, I am looking at every opportunity I can to still make it happen!

As you know I have been working on some new software lately and my hope is to have it done soon. Even though it won’t make me any money I think it’s necessary to complete the project and reward my readers as promised. This may keep me from reaching my financial goal but at least I will have provided something of value to people and made good use of my time.

I believe it’s simply a matter of time before I reach my goal, the important thing to me is having one in the first place. It’s been said that people lose in life because they fail to plan, so, to me, at least having one is a good thing, even if I miss the target.

My plan now is to continue until the deadline I have set for myself. I may have to adjust some things and exercise new strategies at some point but the important thing is to not give up!

New computer hardware here I come

I've been waiting for my chance to get a new system for a long time and now I think I may just "dive in". It's no secret my current machine's inadequacies slowing me down is hindering my success. I do many things online, most of them simultaneously, so I need a system that can handle the load.

Computer prices are drastically cheaper these day's, especially if your building your own. I'm not the hardware expert but with the help of some friends I may just give it a try. It's hard to decide though because buying a "ready made" is so easy and cheap these day's.

I also prefer a laptop due to it's mobility, plus, most of them are plenty powerful these days. I'm leaning towards a desktop this time because of my current home setup. Since I'm running multiple s monitors (5 min) and applications simultaneously, I'm trying to decide if I should have one specially built for that purpose.

Ultimately I would prefer to have both a desktop and laptop that work together so I can still be mobile while having my "control center" setup at home, but the funds just are not there.

I'm thinking having a desktop would do me just fine for now with a laptop upgrade to come later.

I also need a faster internet connection, while I like crickets prices, I'm simply doing to much on line to be slowed down.

The extra price is worth it for me at this point because the time I would save waiting for things to load would translate into more productivity.

I don't have much to spend but at this point any thing has got to better then what I have now. At least I haven't let it slow me down, it may be hard to get things done and take a lot longer then I would like but at least I'm making the most out of what I do have.

It's funny, often I see my friends machines and dream of the day when I can have one. It amazes me how they don't seem to realize the power at their finger tips, here they are with all this hardware just to play games. Don't get me wrong, I love video games but the thought of what I could build with those tools that could bring in an income for life boggles my mind.

To me, the thought of spending some time to use these tools to bring in the kind of income that can earn me the money I need to stay home and play video games all day long if I want to.

It just seems sad to me that we all seem to think of making money as a hard thing to do. I guess that's just how we have been programmed to think, go to work, come home, watch t.v., go to bed, tomorrow start over again.

It's a vicious cycle that I aim to break! It's not the money I want but the time! Yes, I want my time back! I'm tired of spending 80% of my time with negative people and still not having enough to pay the bills.

It would be different if I was actually making enough to do something cool with, like build my own castle to live in or sleep on my own island at night after work, but right now, all I get to do is work, sleep and watch the bill collectors run of with all my money. Sad to say the least. It's ok though, things are looking up, I'm continuing with my blog, learning the internet and now hoping to amp things up with a proper machine.

I think once I get to actually spend some time working in a more efficient fashion while using the proper tools that I can finally get things rolling in the direction that I have always dreamed!

If you have any idea's on what kind of machine I should buy then please let me know. For now, I am taking it slow and evaluating all my options but I can always use some advice!

Will Tiger Win Today at the Masters?

Will Tiger Win today? I hope so, I know he is being scrutinized lately but that fact is, he is simply the best in world at what he does and to me that’s an amazing and impressive feat in any arena.
I don’t have to agree with his personal choices to enjoy watching his amazing ability to focus under pressure. I dare anyone to perform under the circumstances in which he must operate, meaning, the pressure’s of the crowds, sponsors, t.v. results, fellow players, being in the heat of the moment, nerves, you name it, he’s putting up with it and still making it happen!

I love watching the masters golf tournament, it’s one of my fave’s! Not only is it one of the most soft after titles in the sport but it’s the one tournament in the world that intentionally cuts down on commercials and let’s you focus on the play.
Most people say watching golf is like watching the grass grow but to me it’s about watching the effort these men put into their game. I’m not much of a sports watcher because team sports seem to bore me for some reason. I like the "individual" sports like Golf or Billiards.
I think that’s because in my opinion these require more skills to win since you don’t have the help of a team. I have nothing against team sports, most of them are fun to watch and play but to me, it’s a real test of the human will and ability when one has to perform on his own.
Tiger Woods has been a grand example of this, his will to win and stay focused under immense pressure is second to none!
To me, it’s a testament to the powerful things one can do if he really wants to. I don’t car what topic or industry you examine, it’s rare to find anyone who can consistently put forth that kind of effort on a regular basis.
It makes me wonder what things we could all accomplish if we were truly committed to any task we set out to do. That is the real question to me, how do I actually make myself get that focused about anything I do? I think if I could ever be that committed to anything I tried to do success would be imminent.

That brings me to my attempts this year at this blogging thing, I have tried to stay committed to it but can I really say I have put everything I’ve got into it? I don’t think so, I mean, I have stayed with it and kept going even though I don’t see the results I want yet, but have I really applied the kind of focus to my blog that Tiger would put into his game? I think not, at least, not yet.

All I can say is that my hat is off to Tiger Today, I hope he wins!
May all of us put in even half the effort into our daily live’s or tasks as he does and see what happens, we just might surprise ourselves!

Work computer work

Anyone ever felt like pulling your hair out while sitting in front of a computer? I've been sitting in front of this thing for day's and all I can think of is a good sledge hammer and a pair of gloves!

Don't get me wrong, I love my computer and use it all the time but there are those day's when it seems like it wants to do it's own thing instead of what I want it to.

Let's not forget that I am working with a six year old machine, minimal processor power and five monitors I've managed to salvage. I'm even on a slow 3g wireless internet connection, what I wouldn't give for cable speed and a faster machine.

I'm not complaining about it, just dreaming of the day when I can use a real machine that can handle more then 2 things at a time.

You may be asking why? Why do I have such an old CPU and slow connection? All I can say is, it's a long story. For some weird reason having a good computer is not something has come easy for me in my life. I don't know why, I like them and have always wanted one, but for some reason, just never could.

I did have the cool comador64 when it came out but that was years ago and didn't know how to use it. All my best friends went on to computer college courses and learned how to program while I kept playing pacman. It was a very long time before I even started getting on the internet. It's only been in the last 5 years or so that I have begun to "catch up" to the rest of world. When you talk about being a rookie, I am pretty much the poster child. I have always been fascinated by them but for some reason or another just never fully finished where I left off when I was a kid.

Now I am happy that it worked out this way because I am learning how to take what I do have and make the best use of it I possibly can. I'm always telling people to chase their dreams and this blog is a reflection of me doing what I preach.

I have always said not to let what you don't have stop you from moving forward and my computer problem is a perfect example.

I decided to take what I could get and do the best I could with it. So here I am online, working on my blog, learning internet marketing the hard way, one step at a time on a slow machine with an even slower connection.

I know this will all change someday soon, that's the goal, to finally crack the code on this internet marketing thing and then use the money to buy a better setup.

Until then, I guess I will just have to keep my sledgehammer handy!

So, with that, I'll leave you with this thought, What kind of machine do you have and what are you doing with it to get closer to what you want in life? Games are great, I love them too, but my hope is that I can show someone how to take what they currently have and use it to get out of their financial hole.

So many Twitter Tools

Twitter Automation is an amazing thing these day's. There is a myriad of available to tools along with websites to use. Each one has a different purpose, sometimes it's the same thing just done a different way.

I guess that's how business works today, someone comes up with a great Idea and everyone else just tag's along. I can't blame them though, I mean, that's how we became a superpower anyway, by making an existing system even better.

My own twitter automation software will be ready soon. It's been a learning experience from the word go, much more work than I thought it would be.

I realize I've been promising this for over a month now, but the truth is, I just didn't know how involved it would be.

There is so much to think about, there's the setting up of auto responders each with their own set of thank you pages and confirmation emails, the list goes on.

A month ago I didn't even know what a thank you page was, I had seen many but had no idea what I was looking at. Now I am trying my hand at writing one and let me tell you, it's not as easy as it looks.

The funny thing is, the software it's self was much easier to set up than the system that will deliver it.

I am by no means complaining, on the contrary, I have learned so much about internet marketing in the last month that it actually boggles my mind. I think the hardest part for me is that I am doing all of this alone, all by myself. No one is showing me how to set this up, I am just learning as I go. I will say, it makes it a lot more fun, it's like putting the pieces of a puzzle together.

I do have some good news, after spending the last two days straight on the computer, I am proud to say that I am finally getting close to finishing this project.

I have decided to name the software Magic Tweets. It's a small download that will work right from your desktop allowing you to actually set up scheduled tweets to go out at intervals that you decide. I will admit, while it's not the most fancy looking software, it is FREE and does the job very well.

Like I said in the begging of this post, there is a myriad of twitter tools out there, many of them very good in fact, but there are very few that actually allow you to set up scheduled posts. The cool thing is connecting other accounts to your twitter profile so that your post will go out to multiple profiles without you having to actually go online and login to them all. I think this is the one thing I like the most, it also helps keep me focused on my work at hand so I don't get distracted. It seems like every time I log in somewhere to do one thing I end up doing 10 other things I had not planned or even time for, like responding to updates or messages.

The nice thing about using my desktop tool is this doesn't happen, I can just send out one post which goes to all the places I need it to and keeps my all my profiles updated.

This is helpful to keep my time management on track. When you keep as busy as I do you learn real quick the value of time.

So, I encourage anyone to seek out the other tools that are available out there but when you need something simple that actually saves you some time in multiple ways, my hope is that you will give my free software a try.

Of course, this all depends on weather or not I ever get it finished. I know it's taken me a long time, but in my defense, what do you expect from a rookie who is learning while doing all at the same time, all I can say is, I'm doing the best I can!

Never let what you don't have slow you down or stop you from trying, that's what this whole blog is about. So keep trying, work on your dreams and take steps to make them happen even if you don't always know where when or how.

People are always asking me, don’t you want to make money with this blog? Well yes, ultimately I do, but I my goal is to find way’s of doing it that actually put money in your pocket too!
I know what your thinking, is that even possible? Yes, it is!
While my goal with this blog is to make money I want to do it in such a way as to put money back into yours through the use and flow of information. What do I mean? Well, think of it this way, if I share information with you on a free resource that actually pay’s you to use it which in turn earns me a commission then I have, in essence, made money through the use if information! You see, while earning a profit from this would be nice and is the a goal, its not the main one. I actually enjoy writing and sharing my thoughts and ideas. My goal is to network with people of like mind so we can help motivate each other to conquer our goals and dreams, or at the very least, to stay inspired to do so!

I started this on Jan 1st this year and the goal was to share my ideas on becoming debt free this year using real estate and online strategies. I am also taking this one step further by offer some free tools like my new twitter software I will be giving away for free to all my readers! The reason I am giving it away for free is to entice people to sing up for my Private Blog Email List. This email list is simply another way for me to provide you with the free information and resources I speak of in this blog.
The main thing I am getting at is this, there actually are free services and resources that will pay you for your online purchase, and there are more than one.

Basically, everything I am doing online is for free. I am sending this information to you for free while showing you free resources that put money in your pocket that are free to sing up for and use and in return earning a profit only when and if you find the information useful.
In my last post I was inspired by showing you all the way’s I can offer you to make money using all the FREE services I could find.
I want to continue with this theme so you understand that there really are those kind of programs out there and how to use them to your advantage.
Let’s face it, many people shop online all the time, why not get paid for it? I mean, really, if your already going to make the purchase, why not use a free service or resource that will pay you cash back for the purchase your already going to make?

People are always asking me, don’t you want to make money with this blog? Well yes, ultimately I do, but I my goal is to find way’s of doing it that actually put money in your pocket too!

Easter Sunday comes again!

Easter Sunday sure came quick again this year, I can’t believe so much time has gone by already. Time is passing quickly this year and it’s all I can do to keep up. While I am enthused about the things I have already accomplished I can’t help but feel like somethings missing. My plan to become debt free by June 1st has gone through several changes, one of which, was writing daily in this blog. I haven’t hit my goal of daily postings but I’m proud that I have kept it going this long. For most people writing a blog is one of those new years resolutions that comes and goes quickly, but for me, it’s here to stay. I may not have reached my daily goals but I am going to keep going anyway.

I think one of the things that make’s people successful in life is the ability to think positive and to keep going in spite of what’s happened in the past without beating themselves up and that’s what I intend to do with this blog. I wish I could say that I am farther along with it than I am, however, I think the consistency is the important thing here, not unlike most things in life.

Having a six month goal to become debt free may seem like an unrealistic goal to most people, but for me, it’s entirely doable. I admit that I should be closer to the goal than I am but there is still time and when you figure in the real estate possibilities that exist out there right now accomplishing this goal is still possible.

I think one of the keys to success is to keep going in spite of the circumstances. My plan has changed somewhat due to many things, one of which was the weather. Here in Oklahoma we were hit pretty hard this year with snow as were many throughout the United States and while it did slow me down on the Real Estate side of things, it gave me time to work online.
While the online ventures have not produced the desired result yet I know it’s just a matter of time as long as I stick with it.

I have learned a lot of things this year about the internet, one was how to set up email marketing campaigns. I had always heard about it but had no idea how complicated it was to create. There are many things to think about that one doesn’t see behind the scenes, such as, setting up thank you pages and confirmation emails. I have also learned that it is more professional to have your own domain and website but I am trying to do all of this without one.
I know it’s not as professional looking but I am curious to find out how far I can go using all the free tools and online resources I can find. I understand the importance of being credible in the publics eye’s but I also see that there are many resources available if one will only use them and since I have no money to spend on this project I thought it would be fun to see how far I can go without spending a penny on hosting or domains. I know it’s smarter in the long run but I can’t help but think about the fact that I am still here, sharing information with you even though it may be a cheaper version and not as effective. It is still amazing to me that I can even do this, sitting here sharing my thoughts with the world knowing that people I never met are reading this and maybe getting something good out of it, and for me, that’s the entire goal.
It’s true, I would like to make money at this and in fact that’s one of the goals here but I also want to connect with people and be a sort of positive showing in this negative world.
It’s so easy for all of us to get down on ourselves when things don’t turn out the way we would like which is why I think it’s important to come together and share with each other in order to stay inspired and help each other out in any way we can.
I also know that the things I am writing about may not be the most fun, I mean, this sort of content doesn’t generate the kind of response most marketers are looking for but I don’t care, it means something to me and that’s why I am doing it. My hope is that someone will get something good out of it, that will make it all worth while.
The trick for is me is how do I share my goals and thoughts while at the same time providing good content that people will not only enjoy but which also may help them along their own path while at the same time providing some sort of income to pay me for my time.
I don’t want everything in my life to be about money and when it comes to blogging, I do it because I enjoy it, but I do want to provide useful information that will help people and if I can find a way to do that and also earn at least a small income the I feel everyone wins.
The Win Win concept is dear to me, in fact, I plan to think and do business that way on every level, including real estate.
I once heard that if you give people more then they bargained for they will always come back for more and you will never be short on customers! That’s how I want to live my life, giving back more than I take. So, for the moment, my goal with this blog is to give out some inspiration when I can while providing some useful information such as how to market online while providing links and info that may help people out. If I can provide good help not only through content but through the links and offers on this site then I feel I have done my job especially if those links and offers don’t cost you any money.

So far, everything I have done with this blog is designed to offer useful products through the use of free services. I do this through several venues, one of which is the Blastoff Network, a free useful service and website that is completely free and a great resource. It helps you find the online shopping deals you need while paying you on every purchase and it’s a completely free service! There are also many other great uses for it such as the free Hulu player, news, games and social networking plug in apps that really are a help when your in a hurry. They have done a great job of bringing everything on the web into one place while offering a free way to actually get paid.
Some of the other services I promote are also all free. There is Geostring, a free networking service which pays you $10 free just for signing up with the ability to make much more as you spread the word.
Then there is my new favorite one, PeopleString. This free service actually pay’s you to surf the web! Clicking on all the things you normally do like facebook or email can actually earn you a profit!
I also offer some of the normal things that do cost money such as the Amazon product links, they cost you money and I don’t earn anything unless there is a purchase made but I figure lot’s of people shop there anyway so why not make it available just in case. I may be talking about a book or video for instance and if they were going to look it up and buy it anyway then way not offer them a link on my site, this way they might get a discount and I would make some money on the sale. The goal with this idea is to have things available even though it’s not my main source of income. What I am trying to say is that my goal was not to sell them a book from Amazon, I was just trying to give out some inspiration but I realize they might want or need that and if they were going to buy it anyway and I was the one who inspired them then why not make something for my time even though that sale was not the goal for writing that particular article.
I am not saying that I don’t want to make money online, of course I do, making money online is something that I have always wanted to do but my goal is find ways to do it while giving people good content and inspiration along the way.
One thing I love about this is that most of the offers I am promoting are all free! They are also good resources and helpful in daily activities.
I like that fact that I can offer free resources that actually put money in people pockets while providing the income I need and this idea is different than most. Most of the time we are used to people taking money out of our pockets in order for them to gain, but with this method, I can actually put money in your pocket before I get anything in return! To me, this is the perfect win win solution and it’s exciting that I can even do it this way!
I also like the fact that I have found a way to provide this kind of payback by using all free products.
This blog was free, google is hosting it, the programs I am providing are also free and they pay you money back on things you are already doing!
So, not only am I offering great products using free services that are all free and actually put money back into your pocket but I am also using free methods to promote them!
This way everyone wins! Even the people who host my blog are winning because the of the traffic I drive to my blog makes them more valuable.

So, I may not have hit my real estate goal this year yet and time may seem to be slipping by, I am excited that I am actually able to sit here and share some thoughts with you that at the very least may be some inspiration and positive input for you, but I am doing in all in a free fashion while at the same time offering you all different ways to make money by using free services!

To me, this whole process has been worth it so far, even though it looks like hitting my goal may be harder then I thought, I am happy that I have not let things stop me this year from continuing on.

I will leave you with this thought, if I can continue offering free information using free resources to not only spread the word but to also make you money while at the same time possibly earning some myself for the effort, I ask you, what’s wrong with that? To me, it’s an amazing thing and to think that this all came about because I stuck to my goal even though it doesn’t seem to be going the way I wanted it to yet, I know that it’s just a matter of time!

Magic Tweet launch update

My goal over the last three day’s was to have my new software ready for download. Unfortunately this task is taking much longer than expected. The software will allow one to post tweets from your desktop in real time or at scheduled intervals that you decide. There are many things to think about when setting this up, one of which, is what to name it.
After careful thought and suggestions from my readers I have decided to call it "Magic Tweet".
So when will the launch be? I’m not sure yet, since I don’t want to get your hopes up until I know for sure, all I can say is, I will keep you posted! I didn’t think it would take this long to get it ready and since I’ve already wet your appetites I don’t want to give another launch date until I know for sure when it’s going to happen.

I will also post some instructions to show people how to use twitter to post to other services such as facebook or myspace. I think this will be helpful for those who don’t use or like twitter. There are many other applications out there one can use to post to these services but few allow you to schedule your posts. Scheduling automatic posts to go out is a cool feature that this software will provide making it very cool to have.
If your not a twitter user but you would like to schedule updates to your facebook page (or other services) then this software will be for you. Twitter does allow you to set it to private, this way you can use the service as a tool to post to your other services. This is helpful if you just want to use it to post to facebook.
Scheduling posts has many creative uses, one of which is birthday reminders or events. If you have an event such as a party and want to remind your friends via facebook with regular updates but may not have the time to do so, you can use this to do it for you automatically.

Originally my launch date was today, however, it’s going to take another week, minimum. I wish I could have it ready sooner, all I can say is, it’s turning out to be much more complicated than I expected.
I appreciate everyone’s patience in waiting, I can tell you, it’s going to be worth the wait. This will be a very small download, user friendly and basically very simple. I think it’s better to make it easy for everyone to use.

It amazes me how far I have come in just a short time this year. When I started this blog project on Jan 1st this year, I had no idea I would be offering some free software in just a few short months, or that I could even do it. Thanks to the affiliate programs I am associated with I can even offer this. It just goes to show you what you can accomplish if you just stick with it and keep learning.

I have been working day and night on this for the past several weeks, although this week, I did take a short much needed break. I enjoy blogging and hope to offer better more rich content in the future, but for now, I’m writing about what I learn each day.
Todays post is small in comparison to my last few but I thought it necessary to at least give you an update on my progress.

Magic Mike Coffees Twitter Tool

I am excite to announce my new software, I’m calling it, Magic Mike Coffees Twitter Tool.
Internet marketing can be quite the complicated thing, especially if you don’t know what your doing. I am by no means an expert but I have learned some cool things lately, one of which is the Software side of things!
Since I am a twitter fan and use it often a tool like this comes in handy to say the least. I do many things online, so to have a tool that works right from my desktop is cool because it saves me having to open to many browser windows.

What is it you ask? It’s a small piece of software that downloads right to your desktop and posts to twitter for you. The really neat thing about it is the ability to schedule your tweets to go out automatically at set intervals that you decide. This is very helpful, especially for anyone who markets anything online because it gives you the ability to stay connected to your followers even when your not there.

Automation is one of my favorite things about online marketing. Think about it, the ability to set it and forget it so your online business makes you money even while your sleeping is an amazing thing to me! Imagine having someone go to work for you but you still get paid. It’s like having a twin brother that goes to the office for you, does all the work and then hands you the paycheck for all the work he did while you were sleeping!

Twitter is an amazing thing to me and lot’s of fun. My followers are always sending out interesting tweets that keep me up to date on the latest happenings online. I do my best to send interesting tweets myself, it’s a balancing act to say the least.

One thing I really like is how my twitter posts are also posted on my facebook page. This is cool because I only have to send out one post and it goes to everyone, otherwise I would have to many places to update and it would take forever.

This is another cool thing about my twitter software, if you want to use it to post on facebook then simply connect the two accounts, now all you have to do is post to twitter and it will show up on your facebook page.
Even if your not a fan of twitter, you can still use it to post to your facebook page and if that’s all you use if for that’s ok. This way you can use my Free twitter tool to post to your facebook page right from your desktop. The cool part about doing it this way is the ability to schedule the posts to go out when you want them to.
This is useful even if your not an online marketer because you can use it as a reminder.
You can schedule birthday posts to go out automatically to all of your friends and family, this way you will never forget and they will always have a nice message from you on their favorite day.
You can also use it to remind friends and family of upcoming events, like a dinner party or birthday bash. Lets say your planning a party for the end of the week, you could set up some automatic posts to go out to remind everyone once a day or every other day or maybe just the day of. You could even do a count down kind of thing so people know the party is still scheduled to happen and they know how much time is left before they need to be there.

There are any number of ways to use the software and I am giving it away for free!

My goal is someday to design my own products and when I do eventually sell something I want people to know that it’s worth the money.

So for now, I’ll leave you with the thought that twitter may work for you even if you just use it to post to another service. Either way, my free software will benefit you and hopefully be a useful addition to your arsenal of cool tools to have around for fun online.

I dream of the Beach!

I dream of the beach, where the sand is soft, the sun is warm, and the sound of the waves crashing the shore fills the air. A cool salty breeze brushes my cheeks while the soft warm water carries me away. The best part is at night with the open sky showing all the stars gleaming away. Settling next to a warm campfire with friends and good music, roasting some marsh-mellows and thinking, it doesn’t get any better than this!

There are many beautiful beaches in the world and some of the best are in Costa Rica where I grew up. I plan to go back there soon on vacation, to witness the beauty I’ve been missing for so many years. I can’t wait to go back, it’s all I think about these day’s, but the real question is, can I do it for good? That’s the plan, to make this online thing work, to get another house and then parlay those investments into a real income.

Most people wonder why nothing happens in their life accept the same old thing. They wonder how to get ahead, where to go and tools or knowledge to use. I felt the same way for a very long time until I realized in order to get different results I have to do something different. It wasn’t just a matter of taking Action, it’s also about what kind of Action to take?

Action is my new favorite word this year which will move me in a forward direction. The problem is knowing which direction your going in. Knowing how to get to your goal is half the battle. We seem to be paralyzed by what we don’t know or understand, afraid to take the next step without knowing how it’s going to work out. That fear is what holds us back, the fear of the unknown. Maybe you never had this problem but for me it’s been a constant battle.

I can proudly say that I am winning the battle and moving forward even though I don’t always understand what’s happening at the time. I know that moving in some direction as opposed to no direction is sometimes better because at least that can be redirected. It’s when we don’t move at all that we stagnate and wither away. It’s when we think we have a good idea but we don’t act on it for the lack of knowing how to even start.

I am here to say don’t let that stop you anymore. It’s time to get moving, even if we don’t have all the answers, some direction is better than none.

What I have learned in the past few years is that moving is always better. I know we have to be smart about it, we can’t just go in any direction, but my point is simply this; sometimes the answer doesn’t come until you start to move. Once you start moving you can then quickly adjust as needed.

That’s why I am writing this blog, simply to start moving and keep going until I find my way. I’m also doing my best to plan it out, taking it one step at a time. This blog represents to me the act of moving in the direction I want to go even if I’m not sure what that is yet. I know I want to make money online, so I’m doing it by setting up some offers to go along with my writings. The hope is to generate good content that people will like and while they are here, they may take a minute to do something else that gets them paid.

It seemed like a good place to start, writing my thoughts, getting them on paper and at the same time learning how to offer things that people may like and get some help from. This does two things for me, it gives me the opportunity to make a commission on a sale, but most of all, it’s proof in my mind that I can do it if I will only try.

Take a deep drag of your favorite cigarette folks because with this one your going to need it. At least I did anyway, it was the only way I could get through the mess. This online stuff can be quite complicated sometimes, even makes me want to give up, but that I will not do.

I have some exciting, confusing, enlightening and quite frankly, scary things to share with you today. As you know, the internet is a very big place, lot’s to do and see and not all of it’s good. I’m sure most of us have learned this the hard way but at least we got through it.

Marketing online is sometimes scary when you think of all the different ways you can do it. The many tactics that are currently used along with the ones to come are quite mind boggling. There is surveys, emails, blogs, game’s, social networking, and the list goes on. Knowing which one to use and how can sometimes be hard to figure out, but there is one good thing about it all, at least it’s free. Well, I should say, most of it anyway. There is any number of tricks being used to get your money online, one of them being the good old fashioned steal right from your bank with a nifty little program, I think we call them Viruses.

Although I am still fairly new to all of this I am beginning to understand how it all works. The name of the game is how to get people to react in the fashion you desire. What makes people click? I don’t know! I don’t think anyone does, but that doesn’t stop them from trying everything they can think of to get us to do it. My favorite little "tactic" if you will, is the email opt-in. I have been known to receive as many as 30 emails or more in one day just from signing up on a free list. That doesn’t bother me so much, they are easily filtered out if need be but what does concern me is how vast the amount of information is.

we are all on information overload thus making the job of the marketer even harder, especially online when an easy click is but seconds away. This has all led me to wonder how in the world I am ever going to make it work. I feel like I am competing against so many others that there is seemingly no way to get people to listen. You add on the fact that most of us are more interested in something bad that’s happened instead trying to find some good that it’s almost impossible to get any response unless I’m a rapper sporting the latest single.

So my question to you is, how much more could you want? I mean really, there is already so much to do online that it’s hard to figure out exactly what people want. Most of us want to make more money and that is why we see so much of that on here, the endless promotions of the next great opportunity are everywhere. The question is, which one do you try and how much will it actually work? Sadly, there is really no way to ever really know.

While these thoughts have slowed me down a bit they surely have not stopped me. I know there is some real value out there and I aim to find it for you and bring it here any way that I can think of to do it. For this reason I have decided to have some fun online with all this marketing stuff and try to think outside the box.

Anyone spending any time at all talking to the gurus will tell you that there are many strategies to use. They know what works and what doesn’t but they are also still bound to those rules. This is something I have decided not to do! All though I don’t want to waste my time trying to re-invent the wheel, I am also not going to be bound by any box!

This internet thing to me is so diverse and creative that I have decided to take it to the next level and just get as creative as I can think to be! For this reason I am going to make some tries at working up some new games or ways for you to find things online that you might not have thought of before. My goal is to try and think of things to do or new ways of bringing you the information you seek in ways that no one else has thought of before.

That’s why I am writing this, is to let you know that although I may use some tactics that look old fashioned, be fore warned that it isn’t so! Try not to judge my book by it’s cover, instead, hold on for a good ride! I am going to do my best to bring you things in new ways and mainly just get as creative as I can think to be and all just for the fun of it!

So with that I leave you today, knowing that in the coming months I am going to be offering some new things that people hopefully have not seen before and I am doing it just be creative and fun and try my best to help you enjoy finding the information you seek in new and inventive ways!
