Talking about google

2010-10-20T14:18:00.001+03:00

Google is a multinational public corporation invested in Internet search, cloud computing, and advertising technologies. It hosts and develops a number of Internet-based services and products, and generates profit primarily from advertising through its Ad Words program. Today it has greatly impacted people’s work and life, more than any other companies associated with e-commerce. As such a company is so popular and successful, it is pretty valuable to analyse how it gives rise to its global influence. Therefore discussing about its characters, products, business incomes, and operations are quite necessary for making comment on Google companies.

Advertisements in Google
Advertisements appear to the search results are the sponsored links, which is a paid advertisement in the form of a hypertext link that shows up on search results pages. The ads are typically for products and services that are generally or very specifically related to the keywords in the search query, and appear adjacent to or above organic results on search engine results pages, or anywhere a web developer chooses on a content site.( David Szetela, "Customers Now", Business2.0 2009) A keyword advertising system in which ads appear as "sponsored links" on the Google results pages as well as the results pages of Google's partners, such as AOL and Ask.com. The advertiser chooses keywords and a short one- or two-line text ad, which is displayed on the results pages when the ad keywords match up with the search keywords.

For example, when someone types in “flower” in search engine, there will be a few advertisements for flower growing companies and flower delivering partnerships appear in “sponsored links”, such as “Easy Flowers Australia”, “flowers.com.au” and “send flowers to Sydney”, either flower providers or delivery companies. These entities built business relationship with Google, therefore they earn benefits by disseminating through Google advertisement links.

Google spreadsheets
Google Spreadsheets is a Web-based application that allows users to create, update and modify spreadsheets and share the data live online. The service is officially supported on recent versions of the Firefox, Internet Explorer, Safari and Chrome browsers running on Microsoft Windows, Apple OS X, and Linux operating systems.( "Getting to know Google Docs: System requirements". Google.com. Retrieved 2009-06-1) The Ajax-based program is compatible with Microsoft Excel and CSV files. Spreadsheets can also be saved as HTML.

Google is trying to reinvent the spreadsheet as a web-based application that makes it simple for users to input and share data. Google's product offers typical spreadsheet features, such as the ability to add, delete and sort rows and columns. Users can upload spreadsheets directly from their computers.

The spreadsheet is a free web-based application that can be shared with up to 10 users simultaneously, overcoming a key limitation of Microsoft’s Excel.
The application enables multiple, geographically dispersed users to collaborate on a spreadsheet in real time and chat through a built-in instant messaging program.

Equipped with a rich Internet application user experience, the best web based online spreadsheets have many of the features seen in desktop spreadsheet applications. Some of them have strong multi-user collaboration features, and some of them offer real time updates from remote sources such as stock prices and currency exchange rates.

Google has updated their Spreadsheets app with a new powerful feature related to importing content from other files. The company said that with this update they are offering pretty strong options on importing data.

Importing a CSV file would allow the user to create a new worksheet or add the content to an existing one. They can also create a brand new spreadsheet with it or replace the current one. Users also get a preview of how the data would look like after the import process.

Enterprise Search

The term "enterprise search" is used to describe the application of search technology to information within an organization, though the search function and its results may still be public. This is in contrast to the other two main types of horizontal search environment: web search and desktop search, though the areas overlap, and systems may address these scenarios as well.

It offers the potential of cutting much of the complexity accumulated in applications and intranet sites throughout an organization. Enterprise search takes advantage of available metadata and provides access control, simple and advanced search, and browser-based administration. They also can support HTML, PDF, and the usual office file formats and European, Arabic, and Asian languages.

Enterprise searches can be integrated with other application to improve performance. An enterprise search identifies and enables specific content across the enterprise to be indexed, searched, and displayed to authorized users.

Potential revenue models in Google

The prime source of revenue generated by Google is from the Advertising Revenue Model. Google Ad Words, it is a pay per click advertising program. Pay-Per-Click (PPC) is an online advertising payment model in which payment is based on qualifying click-throughs. Google Ad Sense is an advertising serving program run by Google. An advertiser has to pay every time his ad receives a click. (Shuman Ghosemajumder , March 18, 2008, "Using data to help prevent fraud", Google Blog, Retrieved May 18, 2010) This program includes local, national, and international distribution. In addition, for advertisers, they can easily reach people when they are actively looking for their product and services.

Contextual Advertising is considered as potential revenue model in that the rates may be determined in CPM or CPC but in this case the ads are served through a third party, such as Google Ad Sense, is matched based on the content of the particular website or web page in which the advertisement appears. This revenue model requires much less work. As a third party, Google is doing all of the selling, billing and fulfilment for retailers and the only work required may be adding and modifying code of an existing web page. Of course, Google is not performing these services for free so overall income for retailers may be significantly less.

It is probable for Google tendering via reverse auctions. For big buyers, private or public, they are probably using a tendering system to make their major purchases. In a request for quote, the buyer indicates a desire to receive bids on a particular item when they visit Google auction website, and interested sellers bid on this subject. In recent days, Google is planning a mega auction centre in the new Arizona location in a bid to launch Google Auctions, in direct competition with Yahoo, MSN and eBay.

Google uses affiliate marketing, using one website to drive traffic to another—is a form of online marketing, which is frequently overlooked by advertisers(Prussakov, Evgenii, 2007, "A Practical Guide to Affiliate Marketing", pp.16-17, 2007, ISBN 0-9791927-0-6). It provides a highlighted web address or images that link to another website. Every time a customer clicks on the banner, moves to the advertiser’s Web site, and makes a purchase the advertiser pays a commission of 3 to 15% to the host site. In this way, businesses can turn the hot sites into their virtual commissioned sales force.

For example, Froogle is a service from Google that makes it easy to find information about products for sale online. It is a price engine website launched by Google Inc. It neither charges any fees for listings, accepts payment for products to show up first nor make any commission on sales. Any company can submit product information to be included in the engine.

Product and service customization: customization, in marketing, manufacturing, call centres and management, is the use of flexible computer-aided manufacturing systems to produce custom output. Those systems combine the low unit costs of mass production processes with the flexibility of individual customization. ( Tseng, M.M.; Jiao, J. 2010, Mass Customization, in: Handbook of Industrial Engineering, Technology and Operation Management, 3rd edition, New York, NY: Wiley. ISBN 0-471-33057-4) with customization, a product or service is created according to the buyer’s specifications. What is new is the ability to quickly configure customized products online for consumers at costs not much higher than non-customized counterparts. In these areas Google does better than other search engines for they acquaint themselves with customer information through multiple channels include various free customer services and products. Moreover when visitors search Google, the engine can realize whatever customers are interested in, and provide most suitable products for them.

E-marketplace is an electronic exchange marketplace where firms register as sellers or buyers to communicate and conduct business over the Google websites.(Efraim turban, Linda Volonino, 2010,`Information Technology for Management,P10:Four Representative business Models of the Digital age,7thedn,Wiley,USA) Most of the E-marketplaces with online stores are offering competing products. There is huge number of enterprises and customers freely registered on the web, therefore buyers are able to choose products best matching their needs, while sellers also own a tremendous market through the trading platform provided by Google.

Benefits Kaiser has obtained from Google
Kaiser uses Google Search Appliance to enable the HMO to index 150000 documents across the Kaiser network, therefore the storage volume has increased significantly.
Clinicians now search the site in situations that range from leisurely research to urgent care, from the exam room to the emergency room. It’s quite convenient for them to search by themselves and decrease the workload of staffs in hospital.

Doctors and nurses use the search engine to help them reach diagnoses and specify treatments, check the side effects of new medications, and consult clinical research studies and other medical publications, which can reduce the research time and work more effectively.
Google’s spell-checking capability is especially useful in the medical profession: Doctor’s handwriting can be problematic, and pharmaceutical product names are difficult for small businesses, which avoid the trouble of misunderstanding, helpful for accurate communication.

A Web2.0 Company

Google is treated as Web2.0 for it has many characteristics of Web2.0. It has the ability to tap into the collective intelligence of users. There are countless users of Google all over the world, and their contributions in it make Google popular and valuable. It has brought together the contributions of millions of people and made their work, opinions, and identity matter.

Google makes data available in new or never intended ways. (O'Brien, J. & Marakas, G.M., 2008, “Managment Information Systems, pp. 239”, New York, NY: McGraw-Hill Irwin) For example, Google Product Search is a search engine for online shopping; Google Wireless includes Maps, Gmail, SMS, and Google Groups are all advanced search engines for users doing research conveniently. These search tools are competitive products of Google for controlling the global market.

It uses user-generated and controlled content and data, user-created content is major characteristic of Web2.0, as is the emergence of social networking. (O'Brien, J. & Marakas, G.M., 2008, “Management Information Systems, pp. 291”, New York, NY: McGraw-Hill Irwin)When someone asks questions online, anyone else knows the answer can add it on the website. Also it has the presence of lightweight programming techniques and tools that lets nearly anyone act as a developer.

The virtual elimination of software-upgrade cycles makes everything a perpetual beta or work in progress and allows rapid prototyping using the Web as a platform for developing applications.
Google networks are used as platforms delivering and allowing users to use applications entirely through a browser. (O'Brien, J. & Marakas, G.M.,2008, “Managment Information Systems, pp. 239”, New York, NY: McGraw-Hill Irwin) Architecture of participation and digital democracy encourages users to add value to the application as they use it.

New business models are rapidly and continuously being created. It is about innovative application of existing technologies. In 2007, in an attempt to compete with Wikipedia, Google launched its Google Knol.

There is a major emphasis of Google on social networks. Products related to Social Networking and Web 2.0, and Google is very active in these areas. It has the creation of industry disruptors. A rich interactive, users-friendly interface based on Ajax or similar frameworks is often used.
Google is tightly related to social networking because it provides free services for people to create their own space, or home pages, on which they write blogs, post pictures, videos, or music; share ideas, and link to other Web locations they find interesting. For example, Orkut is a social-networking service that competes in one of the fastest-growing Internet market, it is the website connect people through networks of friends or business contacts to find new friends or contacts. People have to sign up for using it.

Wireless activities
Wireless network refers to any type of computer network that is wireless, and is commonly associated with a telecommunications network whose interconnections between nodes are implemented without the use of wires.( "Overview of Wireless Communications". cambridge.org. Retrieved 2008-02-08) Wireless telecommunications networks are generally implemented with some type of remote information transmission system that use selectromagnetic waves, such as radio waves, for the carrier and this implementation usually takes place at the physical level or "layer" of the network.

Wireless has become has become a generic and all-encompassing word used to describe communications in which electromagnetic waves or RF carry a signal over part or the entire communication path. :( O'Brien, J. & Marakas, G.M.(2008) Management Information Systems (pp. 239). New York, NY: McGraw-Hill Irwin) Common examples of wireless equipment in use

today include:

Professional LMR and SMR typically used by business, industrial and Public Safety entities.
Consumer Two-way radio, includes FRS Family Radio Service, GMRS (General Mobile Radio Service) and Citizens band ("CB") radios.

The Amateur Radio Service: Consumer and professional Marine VHF radios
Cellular telephones and pagers: provide connectivity for portable and mobile applications, both personal and business.
Global Positioning System (GPS): allows drivers of cars and trucks, captains of boats and ships, and pilots of aircraft to ascertain their location anywhere on earth.
Cordless computer peripherals: the cordless mouse is a common example; keyboards and printers can also be linked to a computer via wireless. Cordless telephone sets: these are limited-range devices, not to be confused with cell phones.
Satellite television: allows viewers in almost any location to select from hundreds of channels.
Other related terminologies are, enhanced messaging service, which is extension of SMS; multimedia messaging service, which can deliver rich media; personal digital assistant, a small portable computer; smart phones, internet-enabled cell phones supporting mobile applications; WAP and WLAN which are all technologies that offers internet browsing.
Wireless networking is used to meet many needs. Perhaps the most common use is to connect laptop users who travel from location to location. Another common use is for mobile networks that connect via satellite. ("Heinrich Rudolf Hertz", chem.ch.huji.ac.il, Retrieved 2008-03-16)

Wireless transmission method is a logical choice to network a LAN segment that must frequently change locations. The following situations justify the use of wireless technology:
To span a distance beyond the capabilities of typical cabling; to provide a backup communications link in case of normal network failure; to link portable or temporary workstations; to overcome situations where normal cabling is difficult or financially impractical, or to remotely connect mobile users or networks.

Wireless communication can be via:
Radio frequency communication, microwave communication, for example long-range line-of-sight via highly directional antennas, or short-range communication, or
Infrared short-range communication, for example it is from remote controls or via Infrared Data Association. Applications may involve point-to-point communication, point-to-multipoint communication, broadcasting, cellular networks and other wireless networks.

Cordless is generally used to refer to powered electrical or electronic devices that are able to operate from a portable power source without any cable or cord to limit the mobility of the cordless device through a connection to the mains power supply. Some cordless devices, such as cordless telephones, are also wireless devices in the sense that information is transferred from the cordless telephone to the telephone's base unit via some type of wireless communications link. (Story, Alfred Thomas (1904). “A story of wireless telegraphy”, New York, D. Appleton and Co)

Applications of wireless technology:

Security systems: Wireless technology may supplement or replace hard wired implementations in security systems for homes or office buildings.
Television remote control: Modern televisions use wireless (generally infrared) remote control units. Now radio waves are also used.
Cellular telephone: The best known example of wireless technology is the cellular telephone and modems. These instruments use radio waves to enable the operator to make phone calls from many locations worldwide. They can be used anywhere that there is a cellular telephone site to house the equipment that is required to transmit and receive the signal that is used to transfer both voice and data to and from these instruments.

Computer interface devices: recent generations have used small, high quality devices, some even incorporating Bluetooth. These systems have become so ubiquitous that some users have begun complaining about a lack of wired peripherals. Wireless devices tend to have a slightly slower response time than their wired counterparts, however the gap is decreasing. Initial concerns about the security of wireless keyboards have also been addressed with the maturation of the technology.

Wireless energy transfer is a process whereby electrical energy is transmitted from a power source to an electrical load that does not have a built-in power source, without the use of interconnecting wires. ("Wireless Communication", sintef. no, Retrieved 2008-03-16)

Google Wi-Fi is a municipal wireless network deployed in Mountain View, California. It is entirely funded by Google and installed primarily on Mountain View light posts. Google is committed to keeping the service free until 2010.Wi-Fi approaches speeds of some types of wired Ethernet. Some businesses charge customers a monthly fee for service, while others have begun offering it for free in an effort to increase the sales of their goods. (O'Brien, J. & Marakas, G.M., 2008, “Managment Information Systems, pp. 239”, New York, NY: McGraw-Hill Irwin)

Free services
The approach of super ads and that being the reason Google wants their own network is not unreasonable. They could even demand businesses to purchase ads in order to access the network. Also, with people signing in to the network, you can push ads their way, even forcing them to interact with the ad and, of course, with powerful analysis Google will know which individuals to target with what ads, and will be able to do so right when they get online.

However, Google should not go at it by itself. They should work with one of the small networkers to speed up the process and focus themselves in tightening the whole internet offer to the future users, including the super ads. If, in their arrogance, they fly solo then this project will never be a reality.

Google has the ranking of competitive prices, it uses little investment to bring enterprises a lot of potential clients, and effectively enhance the sales volume of the company. There’re more than 1 billion people search for information in Google, and after the enterprises sign up for the key words which are relevant to their products, they will be found out by clients who are searching for those products. The ranking for tendering counts fees according to how many potential clients visit the company’s sites, and the enterprise can flexibly control investments into web advertisements, and then obtain the maximum profits.

Google applications attract a huge number of visitors. They are spreading rapidly, and many of them cater to a specific segment of the population. In the future the large proportion of the young visitors will grow up and will have more money to spend. Therefore Google networks will play a major role in the future of e-commerce.

Because the services provided by Google is free, it has the competitive advantage comparing to other enterprises, such as Yahoo or wiki, and some of them need to charge fees although they work rapidly and effectively. Therefore customers are more willing to use the free ones, and

Google can own a much larger market than other competitors. Its major revenue comes from advertisements, so the more customers come to all kinds of site, the more possible they will trade online with retailers or companies who have commercial contracts with them. Hence

Google can own more income through attracting consumers by providing free services.
Retailers stand to benefit from Google online communities in several important ways, so Google will get profits from those supported retailers and investors through this way:

As long as Google provide free services, more customers will use their products, and they have more chances to communicate with customers, and consumers can be a source of feedback on existing product features, new product design, features on marketing as well as advertising campaigns, and how well customers service and support are performing, which can lead to innovation for Google products and services.

Brand awareness is a major objective of many companies, including Google. Many products, such as Google Print, Google desktop need people to aware their functions, and have a try in its Microsoft. This way the social aspects are maintained and the commercial objectives are also achieved.

Increased web site traffic, a common effect of viral marketing, inevitably brings with Google more ad dollars. The more people visit the web pages, the more Google can develop their site traffic, and the more they are able to own from advertisement.

Increased sales can come from harnessing techniques based on personal preferences such as collaborative filtering; at a more advanced level, Google can probably strive for a higher degree of relevance in matching the knowledge of one person to someone of like interests who has a need to know, so Google save the money for providing knowledge but still attract visitors.

There are some other ways Google networks generate revenues: offer premium service for a monthly or per service fee; partner organizations with the social networks, paying them a monthly service fee; provide local physical venues where members can meet.

There are 3 direct ways to monetize Google networks: advertising, subscriptions and commissions.

Some indirect ways that lead to revenue growth, user growth, and increased resistance to competition, which in turn lead to increased subscription, advertising, and commission revenue:
Strategic acquisition, identifying and acquiring Google companies which are on the exponential growth curve before the rest of the market realizes what they’re worth. When consumers are searching economic news about internet companies there will be big chances they realize Google ones are more optimized internet corporations.

Maintaining control of hard to recreate data sources, let users access everything, but do not let them keep it, such as Google’s providing access to their search index only over the web.

Building attention trust by being fair with customer data and leveraging users’ loyalty, people can get them to share more information about themselves, which in turn leads to much better products and services tailored to them. Turning applications into platforms, online platforms are actually easy to monetize, but having compelling content or services first is a prerequisite. Fully automated online customer self-service, let users get what they want, when they want it, without help.

Google E-commerce

One of the Google E-commerce activities is Gmail, it’s a free, advertising-supported webmail, POP3, and IMAP service provided by Google.
(Google, "How do I enable IMAP?". 2007-10-23,
)

It is useful for clients or customers to communicate with business partners, suppliers or retailers. Although its function is always useful to the general public, the free service is still quite cheap for business contact and it protect people’s privacy very much.
Gmail significantly increased the webmail standard for free storage from the 2 to 4 MBits competitors such as Hotmail offered at that time. (Craddock, Dirk, 2010-08-27, "A short history of Hotmail"<>)

Gmail could include business to business model, business to customer model and customer to customer model, for its convenience of contacting between individuals as well as entities. Gmail runs on Google GFE/2.0 on Linux. (Wei, Coach K.. "AJAX: Asynchronous Java + XML?", www.developer.com, 2008-11-13)

Google Mini is a cost-effective appliance business used to deploy corporate searches that mimic the main Google web search engine. The Google Mini offers the simplicity and power of Google's universal search technology at a great price. An integrated hardware and software solution, the Mini offers true plug-and-play installation and can be purchased online.

Product customization is one of e-commerce business model. Customers use Google to self-configure products or services. Supporting entities then price them and fulfil them quickly. Google product search is a product-comparison search engine for online shopping. A similar search tool is Google Catalogs which searches a database of mail-order Catalogs. It greatly help vendors understand what kind of products customers need.

Orkut is a social-networking service that competes in one of the fastest-growing Internet markets—websites that connect people through networks of business contacts to find new contacts in order to own more clients and get more financial support from investors, or obtain more resource suppliers. It is a good channel for businessmen to communicate for developing their business facilities.

It can be considered that enterprise searches provided by Google could be integrated with other applications to improve performance for enterprises. It is used to describe the application of search technology to information within an organization, though the search function and its results may still be public. Kaiser Permanente uses this Google search appliance so that it enables indexing documents, searching information for clinicians, doctors and nurses. It collects, processes, analyses, stores and distributes information for improving the hospital work more effectively.

Electronic marketplaces and exchanges: no matter Google itself, or the supported entities sell their products, they will conduct transactions efficiently in virtual marketplaces with customers. They show pictures of products and introduction videos about the products. The Google Video can help clients to search for products suitable for them, for sellers to publish the advertisements for their products and also the introduction for functions to use their products. It is quite vivid to use video as the channel as commerce use for customers will be greatly impressed by those products in the video and they will probably buy it and try to use it finally.

Online Auctions is also one of the e-commerce models here. Companies or individuals run auctions of various types on the Internet, it is fast and inexpensive way to sell or liquidate items. Relating to this is electronic tendering system, it is conducted online, requesting quotes from suppliers, used in B2B with a reverse auction mechanism.

Google Groups is a service from Google Inc. that supports discussion groups, including many Usenet newsgroups, based on common interests. Membership in Google Groups is free of charge and many groups are anonymous. They can discuss about a certain product or company they are concentrating on and communicate with the sellers and participate in business conversations, either through a web interface or by e-mail.(Google Groups Help Centre, "How do I create my own group?", 2010-08-10) They can supports reading and posting to Usenet groups. (Google Groups Help Centre, "What is a Usenet Newsgroup?", 2010-08-10) Users can also set up mailing list archives for e-mail lists that are hosted elsewhere.

Affiliate marketing is the e-commerce model. Google’s pay-per-click model shows when vendors ask Google to place logos on Google search engine. If customers click on logo, go to vendor’s site and buy, then vendors pays commissions to Google. This model is the most common one used in Google.

In summary, it is inevitable that a company like Google is most popular and successful one for its free internet services, multiple use products, and huge advertising supports by various organizations. As a social networking company, it still has much potential to develop in the future as the vast online marketplace. Insisting principle of reciprocity when they are doing business, it benefits customers by providing free services and provides chances for small business entities, it will always get profit from both sides.

Compare Chinese paintings to western painting

2010-10-09T06:12:00.011+03:00

In recent years the market of Chinese art is widely reported to be among the hottest and fastest-growing in the world, attracting buyers all over the world.
Observing from history of art, the Eastern painting has much difference with Western painting.

It is probably because the eastern art attaches importance to subjectivity, and the western art places value upon objectivity. Therefore the traditional Chinese painting pays attention to romantic charm, while the western painting lays emphasis on being similar in appearance.

The traditional Chinese painting is commonly using lines, but in western painting all of the lines are not notable. The most of lines are not originally owned by objects, instead they are used by painters to show the boundaries between two objects. For example, in the traditional Chinese painting, the mountains and water, and flowers, actually all of them have no lines, but the painters often use lines.

Painting a figure, it is necessary to draw the lines, and then fill in the colour; those lines which are outlined in clothes are called “smocking”. Bird-and-flower painting is a kind of Chinese painting named after its subject matter. Normally, most bird-and-flower paintings belong to the scholar-artist style of Chinese painting.

Drawing flowers and birds, the method exists also as drawing lines first and then replenishing colours, such as meticulous paintings of flowers and birds. Those lines are all required to possess the technique of writing. Also, this kind of lines does not only mean being treated only as borderlines or adumbrations, they also have the effect of expressing the figure’s sensation or the characters of objects.

In traditional Chinese painting, the names of lines of mountains and water are specially called as “chapping”, which is used to show the shades and texture of rocks and mountains by light ink strokes. In figure painting the lines of people are specially called as “smocking”. Those are all abstruse painstaking of disquisition. The western painting is different, for every boundary of objects does not need retouch on it.

In general appearance of western painting, the importance is attached to colour instead of lines, such as in oil paintings, commonly only colours are used to distinguish the boundaries among objects, and on the boundaries it does not need depicting lines. In western painting groups they also depict lines, however this kind of lines only acts on contours. Sketching such as pencil drawings and charcoal drawings, in the objects the lines are also act on such effect.

Therefore the western paintings are very similar to practicalities, the traditional Chinese painting are not like entities, instead they are obviously paintings when people have a look at it negligently.

The traditional Chinese painting does not pay attention to Scenography, but the western painting extremely pay attention to Scenography. Scenography is that when someone paint, shows all the perspectives of an object in two dimension, and let it owns the effect of distance and discretion of space and solid. Because the phenomenon of clairvoyance is showing bigger when closer and smaller when farther, therefore it is also called “method of distance”. The western painting generally use focus perspective, it is the same as taking photographs, fixing at one point, and being limited by space, the picture being taken into the camera will be taken strictly.

Trying having a look at the quarters, houses, furniture, implements and so on, the form and structures are all very accurate, like the practicality. If it is painting the scenery of corridor, it has the impudence to manifest the distance of a few meters in only a few decimetres. If it is depicting the frontage of railway, it can go so far as to showing a few kilometres in only a few decimetres.

The Chinese painting is different, the traditional Chinese paint doesn’t devote particular care to focus perspective, and it almost doesn’t lay stress on the photochromic of objects in nature, neither does it stick to the similarity of object appearance, instead more focus on giving expression to subjective sentiment of the painter. The Chinese paintings are particular about “using appearance to show the spirit”, pursuing for a kind of feeling of “exquisite between similar and dissimilar”; comparing with this situation the western painting strive for “using appearance to show the form”, of course, in the procedure of production, they also pay attention to the expression of showing “spirit”. However they are fastidious about the entirety, generalize of a picture. Someone says, the western painting is the “reappearance” art, the Chinese painting is the art of “manifestation”, it is quite reasonable.

The composition of Chinese painting usually doesn’t follow the golden rule in Western art, instead they use long rolls, or vertical shaft, the proportion of length-width ratio loses its balance. However it can express greatly the particular prospect and the subjective interests. The Chinese painters don’t always fixed in one point for drawing, and neither are they confined by fixed sight field. It can move the footing spot and paint, according to painter’s feeling and demand, taking all visible and invisible landscapes into its own picture. This kind of perspective method is called dispersing perspective, or multi-spot perspective. For example, the famous painting in Northern Song Dynasty, < Along the River During the Qingming Festival> reflect the complicated and spectacular scenery in capital city of Northern Song. In the 5.28-meter long picture, there are 814 humans, 28 boats, 60 animals, 30 buildings, 20 vehicles, nine sedan chairs, and 170 trees drawn . Treating the Bian river as centre, painting from outskirts far away to boisterous “rainbow bridge”; not only the closer buildings and trees can be seen, but also deep streets and rivers far away; not only the walkers can be seen in the bridge, but the ships under the bridge can be seen as well. The arc of the stone bridge is much taller than that of the wooden original, and where the original had a boat about to crash into the bridge, the reinterpretation has a boat being methodically guided under the bridge by ropes, pulled by men ashore, several other large boats dutifully waiting their turn, undisturbed. In the hand scrolls of Chinese painting, mountains and water stretch for kilometres; in the vertical portraits, the mountains and waters layer after layer.

The Chinese painting doesn’t place value upon background, but western painting does very much. In Chinese painting, such as depicting wintersweets, there will be one branch hang in the space, all around is blank space. Depicting figures, a person hung in the sky, like fly up to the cloudy regions. Therefore the drawing paper is remained much blank space. The very long paper, in the lower part there is a plant or a piece of stone, will become a portrait. Western painting is quite different, all things should have background, such as fruits, the background is the table. The figure has the background such as indoor or field. Therefore the picture will be fully scrawled, no blank remained. The distinguish between Chinese painting and western painting, is also happened because the principle of realism and vivid. The western painting must paint background for realism, and Chinese paint must delete trivial to highlight its theme, to brightly show the impression.

The subject matters in Chinese painting are mainly the nature, in western it is human beings. Before Han dynasty in Chinese painting, the main subject is also people. However when it reached Tang dynasty, the landscape painting promptly became independent. Until now, mountains and water are usually the formal objects of Chinese painting. First, the mountains and water, flowers and birds are usually symbols, there is certain subjective part in them, Related to the Four Gentlemen are The Flowers of the Four Seasons, which consist of the orchid (spring), the lotus (summer), thechrysanthemum (autumn) and the plum blossom (winter). They contain three of the elements of the Four Gentlemen. A painting or decoration incorporating all four plants is also known as the "Four Gentlemen".

For example, drawing wintersweets, pine trees or chrysanthemums, in order to emblematize their bravery for fighting with ice and snow. Ancient people paint landscape in order to eulogizing negative seclusion consideration, for instance, of Mayuan Song and of Qian Yuan. Many painters were specialized in drawing a certain object, some are good at painting horses, cows, ,some are good at painting waters or fires, and the others are good at painting flowers.

But in western painting perspective, there’s no such situation.

From the generation of ancient Greece, painters always utilize figures as the major subject. The religion paintings in mediaeval generation, most of them use public as the theme, such as , The last judgement will occur after the resurrection of the dead and the reuniting of a person's soul with own physical body ,included in this fresco is the painter’s self portrait, as St. Bartholomew's flayed skin. and . In one painting there are numerous people. Until 19th century, there is independent landscape painting. After the independence of it, the figure paintings don’t give up its status, and the nude painting is still the major subject of western painting today. The “landscape” and “still life” paintings do not have any symbols in them, mostly they only pursue purely for beauties in the picture, being particular about harmonious proportion of light and colour, and instead the content of the picture is in inferior status.

Judging from opinions above, about difference between Chinese paintings and Western ones, it is clear that the Chinese paintings have lofty interests, while Western paintings have amiable interests. Therefore for art studying, Western painting is not profound as Chinese painting. However for appreciation of public, the Chinese paintings are not common enough as Western ones.

short life as if a dream

2010-09-15T19:18:00.003+03:00

When weak and rebel are aggregated to one figure, that is the resource of a buskin. The sense of fear as well as the ashamed feeling linger in her mind, like two chains, prevent her from doing anything. In one perspective she is afraid of failure, the consequence and the price for rebel, for the mainstream does never allow that happen, her existing space will shrink and even disappear. The danger of crash is obvious. However, if she doesn't do so, the condemn inside her mind will also arise and disturb her from time to time, for she has no time to waste. She exhausted her energies and life in order to satisfy what others want, not for the voice calling her inside her body. Every quiet moment she afflicts herself by those unnecessary mind to other people, but she finds it necessary to herself because that's the most real consideration of her, and she is still not used to deceiving herself like some other people.

In stories and tragedies, the main characters who discard the classics and rebel against orthodoxy die in order to show their discontent towards the strong social forces. However in the real world, most of them choose to keep their present situation instead of sacrifice their lives. There are too many factors arrest them to do something extreme, but inside their hearts those two considerations always torture their conscience, until the moment they stop breathing. That's the price of existence, living sometimes is not real happy, it is really a kind of guilty, although most people comfort themselves that living is pursuing for happiness. They choose to do something seems to be happy, but actually desolate to them, instead of doing something according to their real feeling. It is really tragedy.

People who do not share the same sense of worth with society but have to obey the social rule have been broken their wings. Every one of them have invisible wings at first. Are they angels? At least I think so. They are never normal people, half infatuated and half muddleheaded, but innocent as clouds, no matter how they suffer losses in real world.Their wings are broken, and they can not fly away from this muddy world, they can only stay in front of the deathly still world, as the best funerary objects for those living corpses.

Maybe there's one day they will abandon all they have already obtained from the common customs. Social status, properties, families, and also the relationship with society, which gave them all of those things. Then they enter into the nothingness. People who love them will contribute all their tears, so that their bodies can float up, until they reach the fragrant void. How ideal this condition is!

Life is just a long dream, when we wake up, there's nothing really so important as we have imaged. Angels will finally find their choice is valuable, just at that time they have hesitated for too long.

keeping flowers

2010-09-01T15:15:00.002+03:00

It is valuable to recollect the days of keeping those flowers, the reason is obscure, but there's one thing obvious, for my frame of mind has experienced a dramatic process, with the life transit of flowers.

One month ago, when I was younger, I often wander around the crowd of colorful flowers of a stall, and appreciate their beauty silently. It's funny because I even don't want others gain an insight into my mind, that I became an "anthomaniac", who will be laughed at in this generation, so I pretend to be just passing from the crowd, walking from this side to another, busy as a bee. Each time I only stare at them for a short time, but their beautiful images were deeply engraved in my mind.

The situation has kept for a week, and during the period I think if only I can see them for a moment every day I will be satisfied. However later on I found it was not enough at all, if I could own them, they would be able to show their beauty whenever they want! How eager they were at that moment! Though they never talk.

Thinking this way, I select a beam of flower, who I personally thought are the most beautiful one in the crowd. I couldn't define their name, but they are neither noble roses, nor elegant lilies; they are neither missish tulips, nor delicate jasmine. Their beauty is very direct, brave, and even rampant, the shape of their petals is the same as sunshine, and the most attractive part is the color, which is rosy red, neither bloody nor dim as purple ones. How bright the color is! Whenever they were fairly standing in front of me, the gloomy would be driven away from my heart. So I must bring them home! On my way back, with the rosy shine of flowers reflect in my face, the scene caught the eyes of many people; at that moment I was virtually the most elegant person in the world.

The first a few days past slowly, for every morning I woke up and every evening I went back home, they would be checked very carefully, from their bottom to the top, from their stems to pistils. After that I change the bottle of water contaminating them, and moisten a piece of cloth, wipe every petal of them, in order to keep them as long as possible. I grasped them with profound respect and humility, like there was a sleepy goddess inside my arms, I must not disturb her sweet dream. Every day I spent half an hour to take care of them.

The doleful time could be frittered away so easily, I felt like this for the first time. Talking to them was really amazing, although I felt shy at the beginning, later on I just sang a lot of songs and even cry as a witch to them. The feeling is quite different from when I was writing a blog, but also a little bit similar, no reaction actually from anywhere, but I can image it for numerous possibilities, happy, agree, or angry, disagree, from numerous different hearts. I was not familiar with the soul of the flower goddess, but I believed in her. She must have a most kind heart and be tolerant with all the naughty things I have done to her, and I have not even a little bit blasphemy mind towards her, every ludicrous behavior of mine was proceeded from the most respect purpose.

The flowers were kept much longer than I expected. Nevertheless, every life would tend to old and death. After the flowers reached the peak of their lives, they began to droop, and their stems were not able to support their chaplets gradually, and their proud petals furled inch by inch, as they were too shame to show their oldness to me.

Now that it is the unavoidable tendency, there was no driving force to keep me making the effort every day as before. I helplessly looked at them, with no tears in my eye socket, became droop day by day. The situation went down the drain, so I made a decision, I moved the flowers out of my sight, so that I could forget their death generally.

Strangely, the more I do to forget them, the more clearly I remember their oldness. I took them out and observed their droop after a certain period of time. After a few revisions, I have accepted their oldness peacefully. They would never be beautiful again, so there's nothing to do with it. Their beauty is always blooming in my memory, forever and ever.

Keeping flowers only once in a whole life is absolutely enough for me, for my poor memory can not contain too many images of flowers, and I know the goddess would feel jealous if I repeat the whole process for lots of times. Farewell, dear flower!

FedEx

Networks identified
FedEx is utilizing a global network, belonging to any communication network which spread all over the world. In another word, it is bidirectional communication network, and also technology-based network. The corporation supports 24-48 hour package delivery to anywhere in the world, and it operates one of the world’s busiest data-processing centre, handling over 100 million information requests per day from more than 3000 databases and more than 500000 archives files.
FedEx operates the client–server model of computing, which is a distributed application structure that partitions tasks or workloads between the providers of a resource or service, servers, and service requesters. That is also computer network in which one centralized, powerful computer, called the server, is a hub to which many less powerful personal computers or workstations, called clients, are connected. The clients run purchase order programs and access products information that are stored on the FedEx Web server. Often clients and servers communicate over the client network on separate hardware, but both client and server may reside in the same system. In a network, the client/server model provides a convenient way to interconnect programs that are distributed efficiently across different locations. A server merchant is a host that is running one or more server programs which share their catalog resources with clients online. A client does not share its resources, but requests a server's content or service function. Clients therefore initiate communication sessions with servers which await incoming requests.
FedEx is also using Real-time computing, or reactive computing; it’s the study of hardware and software systems that are subject to a "real-time constraint" —i.e., operational deadlines from event to system response. FedEx real time system may be one where its application can be considered (within context) to be mission critical. Temporal failures are typically small and compartmentalized but are not catastrophic failures. In a real-time system, such as the FTSE 100 Index, a slow-down beyond limits would often be considered catastrophic in its application context.

IT improves the performance of FedEx
In order to improve its competitive advantage beyond the companies all over the world, IT support is the basic element and critical factor for development of business trading as well as financal management.
The e-shipping tools is used here as the major software application. It’s a web-based shipping application that allows customers to check the status of shipments through the company’s web page. It’s periodically assessed where the FedEx stands with respect to its goals objectives, so that consumers can monitor the performance of transportation.
The company is also providing synthesis solutions to allocate the entire selling and supply chain needs of its customers. The e-Commerce Solutions offer a full attach of services that allow businesses to integrate FedEx’s conveyance and information systems seamlessly into their own operations. It’s the perspective about how the marketing and services performance can be improved, providing critical responses for those activities.
FedEx sells several e-commerce hardware/software solutions: FedEx Powership MC, which is a multicarrier hardware or software system, FedEx Ship Manager Server, which is a hardware or software system providing high-speed transactions and superior reliability, allowing an average of eight transactions per second; FedEx Ship API, which is an Internet-based application that tolerates customization, eliminating redundant programming; as well as FedEx Net-Return, which is a Web-based item-return management system. It makes business-to-business electronic commerce through combinations of global virtual private network connectivity, Internet connectivity, leased-line connectivity and VAN connectivity. Those solutions are all improvements for technical perspective of marketing and accounting areas.

Personalization and customization provided by FedEx
One of the success reason of FedEx Corporation is it attaches importance to personalization and customization very much, for they can bring the competitive advantage to the company and can attract and maintain many customers. Personalization implies that the changes are based on implicit data, such as items purchased or pages viewed. It involves using technology to accommodate the differences between individuals. "Prediction Based on Benefit", has been proposed for products with complex attributes such as apparel .The term customization in this context refers to the ability of users to modify the page layout or specify what content should be displayed. Web personalization models used by FedEx Corporation include rules-based filtering and collaborative filtering, which serves relevant material to customers by combining their own personal preferences with the preferences of like-minded others.
Merchant place their catalogs online, Web pages are personalized based on the characteristics of an individual. Whenever a consumer allocates a purchase order on the website, it is sent to a FedEx Web server. Information about the order and the customer is then sent to the merchant’s PC, and a message is sent to the customer to confirm receipt of the order. FedEx is able to quickly configure customized products from the website, including the final design, ordering, and paying for the products, are all done online.
FedEx customers browse the catalog deciding what to buy. Information regarding the processing of the order is accessible at the three remote electronic data centres located in the United States, the Europe/Mediterranean region, and the Asia Pacific region. During the entire process, the customer, the merchant, and FedEx employees can track at any time the status of the order and its fulfilment via the Web. The product and service are created according to the buyer’s specifications.

Benefits to the customers
Because so many personalization and customization practices are penetrated within the business processes, the e-commerce-based FedEx business model provides benefits for customers in several ways: It enables better communication and cooperation between all kinds of companies along the selling and supply chains.
It promotes efficiency obtains by reducing costs and increase the speed of ordering cycle.
It encourages customers use FedEx as a shipper but also to outsource to FedEx all their logistics activities.
It also provides FedEx a competitive edge and increased revenue and profits. It saves the time for customers to wait to the end of transaction by placing the order and requirements online, delivering the order by internet.
It prevents redundant work; eliminates service components unnecessary to a customer; identify lower-cost solutions that meet all other specifications, so that the price can be reduced because of the lower costs.
It filters out information not related to a customer; provide more specific information that is increasingly relevant to the customer’s interests; enhance the reliability of information; replace “average” information with information special to customer’s environment.
It allows a company to tailor a specific product in accordance with individual standards, tastes and preferences.
Consumers are able to place orders based on product family, usage, price range, processor, and form factors.

Q5. E-commerce model in this case
Although the company makes use of advanced technology into its business information system, there are potential problems inside its E-business model. The model used in the FedEx case is the e-business to customer model. B2C stands for "business-to-consumer" and applies to any business or organization that sells its products or services to consumers over the Internet for its own use. Electronic commerce focuses on the use of ICT to enable the external activities and relationships of the business with individuals, groups and other businesses. Although the electronic B2C model has brought FedEx Corporation much advantages, there are still many potential problems hided under the surface.
For general users of e-commerce, the accessibility to Internet, such as web catalogs and servers, are unstable, expensive and insufficient in particular areas. This will generate limitations for business in accessing wider markets. Another problem is that if a business system's scalability is not sufficient and is able to be upgraded, it will result in debase, speed-down, and finally losing of customers.
Overall, the main disadvantage of E-commerce in general is the lack of trust and critical public infrastructure, slow navigation on the FedEx website, the high chance of consuming unideal products, and most of all lack of security for purchasing, such as transferring the banking account fund with secret codes provided.
For the FedEx Corporation e-commerce system, there is no universally accepted standard for quality, security and reliability. The software of e-commerce development tools, such as e-Shopping tools and Ship Manager Server, are always developing, and have difficulties in integrating the Internet and E-commerce software with parts of the existing applications and databases.
The lack of trust is one main reason why customers are unwilling to accept FedEx E-commerce due to privacy and security considerations. However, recent payment systems such as PayPal can solve this kind of problem. The danger of hackers accessing customer files and corrupting accounts is also related to privacy and legal problems.
For some middle-aged customers, it is hard to change their habit of viewing web catalog merchandise online; those customers persist in traditional ways of purchasing physical goods in actual shops and feel it difficult to change from a real to a virtual company.
Another drawback is that there are some products that people will not buy online. For some high-cost and unique items which have difficulties in offering the items in the e-commerce mode. Many of those products have websites that allow customers to browse, but most customers still want to feel and touch the item before they make a decision. Different expectations of goods and services from customers are typical of the online purchasing environment. An example is in the perception of colour. Due to different monitor facilities, imprecise information about colour makes it difficult for customers to make an accurate decision when purchasing online. Because customers are unable to trial or access the actual goods before buying and transferring, many customers will not take the risk of purchasing via the Internet.
The main disadvantage of FedEx e-business also contains the lack of growth in some sectors on account of product or sector limitations. Consumers do not look for food products on the Internet since they prefer going to the supermarket to buy the necessary items as and when the need arises.

Costly E-Business Solutions for Optimization: Substantial resources are required for redefining product lines in order to sell online. Upgrading computer systems, training IS employees, and updating website contents and status requires substantial resources, such as new hardware/software systems and services for transportation systems. Moreover, Electronic Data Management and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) necessary for ensuring optimal FedEx internal business processes may be looked upon, by some competitive companies, as one of the disadvantages of e-business.

Whatever the situation is, FedEx Corporation has to eventually change its measure and adopt e-business practices in order to pledge subsistence and success. For such deep analysis into advantages and disadvantages of its business model, as well as great improvement made by its managers and investors, the status of the company is considered the second most admired company in the US and also highly all over the world.

quit or go on

2010-07-13T13:30:00.002+03:00

This evening I have read a essay about confession of a prisoner under sentence of death, he deserved his punishment for he has done many curses to the public in order to benefit for himself. He was going to accept the capital punishment very soon. Suddenly I admired him for he was imposed to give up his life, when people like me should still continue their lives for a long time with no strong reasons, just for their physical instinct of afraid of death. He is able to experience the special process to go to that world, where no one has ever come back.

If there is such a rule, that every prisoner under execution can choose to live once they paid their properties to someone else who are too painful to go on living. Then someone else are going to experience euthanasia instead of prisoners peacefully. Their families or creditors will get a lot of money in return because of this. That person will be considered as never existed, clean and fresh.

I have been a vampire for twenty years. For such a long time my hosts--the parents bear hardship without any complaint. But what can I do in return? Just bring them much more annoyance and tire. I can neither stand manual work, nor bear headwork, so there's no meaning for me to exist, and my only ability is absorb other people's energy. Therefore if some prisoner under sentence of death is willing to support my parent's future lives, it will be an ideal thing.

The possibility is quite indistinct. My discreditable life will still continue, now that the life is valueless, and bear much more pain than happy, it is not a bad choice to give up. Maybe it's just the drive of idleness. However, hesitation arrest us to practice our plan from time to time, it is quite difficult to decide, I have to think about it now and again, for much time.

No desire is important now, because all will be lost at the end of people's life. Why every day I saw all people so hurried to do their affairs? They may try to bring themselves happiness, for a happier life. Well, it is a fair reason, but during the process it may bring them pain, and eventually they only enjoy the happiness for a short period of time, their desires grew up again to annoy them. Therefore they fall into pain again and again like a circle.

What about abandon all the desire? But there's no such person in this world. They are all lying in the graves. Even they are living, they are like dead people, walking corpse and running flesh. It has the same substance as death.

It is really difficult to decide.

Lying in the darkness,I kept on thinking of one problem, in fact the method is simple: just pull the drawer, take out those tablets, put them into my mouth and then swallow them with the peach juice. Only half of one tablet is enough for sleep, so all of them may liberate my soul from the physical body. From that on, I will return back to the dim world I come from, where no feelings have ever existed, and this situation will last forever, I don't have to struggle for meanless life tiredly.

It's really so easy to complete the process, that I am surprised for such a shortcut to take to touch death. What's the meaning of waiting with fear and bearing tremendous pains for 60 or 70 years until the final judgement? The remote death country must be the same one which before we are born. It is a peacefully dead world, completely quiet one. There should be no reason for me to reject coming into it, on the contrary, it is quite suitable for me, who is suffocating roughly without any desire.

Thinking all of this, my blood condensed at once, and I began to breath rapidly. The contradictory minds conflict fiercely.Just image so many colorful dreams as bubbles rose highly and finally broke. However I was still like being nailed on the bed, can't even move to the drawer.

How shameful!!! My weakness in character has never been changed till now. Now that I can't live respectively, what's the point to continue the life like this?

The purpose of my life now is not for myself, but only my parents, they don't want to lose me, so I can't hurt them. That's the only purpose of my life. I have found an explanation to cover my weakness. However, my heart has already dead, numb, and despair. I can image from the darkness the fate is still striking me with his whip, and I am still crawling forward. My body is becoming putrid generally. From now on, I am really a dead person, until some day I have decided sufficiently to go to the shortcut way to another world.

Comparing to many other people, both my character and capability are too weak for surviving in this brutal world, even once the wind blow me, I can't stand still. So living is such a painful thing, every step of mine is standing on the edge of knives, so I may not belong to this world......

Not brave enough to die, so only degenerate.

It is quite hard to type words again for someone who keep silent for a long time. Writing is one of the happiest thing in the world, for people can express their feelings and elaborate their considerations between the lines unrestrainedly. However sometimes I think even this enjoyment will be lost by me, for I have been imposed to choose another living pattern, which whets human's nature roughly, so that no delicate thoughts will ever be remained in people's hearts. Not only this external factor, but personal reasons as well. Sometimes I am just not strong enough to adjust my emotion. I really respect someone who can still produce their works tremendously even in extremely adverse circumstances. I am so weak that I escaped from introspection for a long time and keep on searching for sensual pleasures, until the final punishment of fate comes to me. I know it will come sooner or later for such indulgence, but the thoughts of enjoying pleasure in good time is gaining the upper hand all the time.

The erosion life has continued for a long time. I am much like a lonely duckweed, floating in the surface of the river. The contemporary pleasure has been more and more difficult to fill up the hollow of my soul. The more fleeting delight I have pursued, the more feeling of guilty I have realized later, and it has expanded all the more. Greedy, proud, idle, angry, indulging......all have been precipitated in my character. I suddenly waked up from the poppy dream, what am I doing?! I shouldn't continue the sweet befuddled life anymore, I should discipline myself strictly. Nevertheless, it is very difficult because turning from negative to positive mental attitude is the same as climbing the mountain, and I should make no effort to resist all kinds of attractiveness. nevertheless, as long as I know this kind of experience is unavoidable, I have to adjust myself from time to time in order not to lose myself again.

SLEEP

2010-05-04T20:06:00.002+03:00

even the most useful drug will turn to be useless in the end, when the patient abuse it.

I always think of, if this really happens, how can I maintain my life?
Maybe I am too eager to recover the normal life as others, instead of being a night ghost. At this moment, I am imaging all kinds of sleeping postures of other people, they must have slept soundly, but I am still awake and thinking of useless things.

I want to live a normal life as all others, so I abused using the medicine.

The feeling it brings to me is weaker and weaker with the raise of my using frequently. At the beginning only 1/3 of it will be effective only in 10 minutes, and I felt like being in wonderland and got the dream quickly. However, now even 1/2 of the tablet will not affect me at all.

It is clear that my pursuing for contemporary benefits is absolutely not helpful, and even brings me a more serious problem, that is my losing sleep is worse than before.

How can I carry on my life like this? How can I confess to my parents about this matter? They have already warned me not to use it too frequently, but now my illness is becoming worse because of my own behavior. I tell lies to them, saying that my life is stable and normal as usual, otherwise they will be too worry to support their own lives. How can I be so cruel, to bring them more pain when I already know they are filled with anxiety just because of me! They looks older than before last year when I meet them, no longer the handsome man and the beautiful woman. Their energy and youth has already exhausted on me for so many years. For them, I have to continue my struggle for life.

Therefore, I have to hide my real current condition. Also, I have to hide all other unsatisfactory happening to me from them, especially my mum, she becomes so sensitive because of me that she also lost her sleep at mid night, and she has to go to work next morning, working for many hours. I have to try to comfort their heart frightened for so many times.

I had to deal with it by myself. From the beginning to the end. Although I have no idea how to improve my current condition, I just transfer the problem to the fate, and I myself will despite him to handle my future.

The way I take medicine is very similar to the way I use money, I always avoid looking at the balance sheet of my bank account, I just take out money from the machine, and use the money to create a happier life. Never think of the future, at least today I am normal as all others, that is the best reward for me.

At the moment I received the news, I just bitterly smiled, and then remained silent. I used to think of being sorrow is howl or vent. However now I must have no expressions in my face, though every breath will bring me much pain. I should have cried simply and directly, but once a person meet with the real painful things, he will only diverge the topics to other irrelevant things, and then sigh for other reasons. This is not because he doesn't care, but his extremely painful feeling push him to divert his attention from this serious matter.

If a person wants to grow up quickly, he has to experience painful things, for the heartfelt lesson will deeply engraved into his mind, making him always remember how to avoid the failure. But if some experiences are too painful for him, it will no longer only to be lessons, instead, it will be a kind of trauma.

Like other normal people, I have a few trauma events within my history. People always think of time is the best medicine for pain, with the flowing of time, the old events will never appear in the current world, neither will the history ever occur again, but someone who relating to the event will always consider again and again about the affair, so that the memories with in his mind will timelessly fresh as when it occurred. This kind of phenominon does really happens on people who are very sensitive, and the character which is used to be out of joy.

This thing happens to me is a kind of misfortune, and the unforgetful experience. I am afraid of this kind of things every much from my childhood, and every time I prey for preventing it to happen, it always happens on me. I have already experience this kind of things before, at that time I just be sad for one or two months, however this time whenever I think of it, I am decadently weak, and more clear and serious than before. Knowing something in this world can not be changed even people have tried their best.

Some people can recover from these kind of things very quickly, or seems to be strong in front of people. However if they ask themselves honestly, do they really recover? I am afraid not. If only they are perceptual, they will always feel sorrow about for that, no matter how they cheat themselves. The reason they pretend to be happy is just because they want to be happy ones in other people's imagination.

I begin to dislike and avoid many things now, even myself. "Decadent" can be used to describe my condition now, and I have developed a new unhealthy habit, that is abusing medicines. Once someone begins to take a kind of medicine, he or she will become generally rely on that. With the period longer, the effect of a certain medicine will begin to reduce, for inside the body of patient the immunity has came into being, so I have to take more and more frequently, and the illness state has taken a turn for the worse.

Also, I begin to love a feeling of being intoxicated with the effect of medicine. It is so similar to drunk people. I like to take the medicine before sleep, and all the sad feeling will be paralysised by the dizzy spell. There will also be delusion come into being when I look around. The headlight recesses into the ceiling generally, and its light changes from gently wide into many rays sending out to all directions, and from time to time rotating around the center. How beautiful the scene is!

Then I looked to the pictures I have search, all of the people in those pictures have their certain postures, and now they are slowly moving! Even their expressions are changing, especially their mouth, within my intocixating as well as delusion. At this moment I forget who I am, what I am doing, where this place is, extremely comfortable; I have no desire for anything, no matter food or drink, money or position, completely relaxed. I hope this condition will last for ever.

When I sober up from the pleasure later, I hope I can experience it every day, but this kind of medicine can only be used occasionally. Being sober means withstand those things made me painful, but now I have to meet them, not only for myself, but more for people who are important to me. Although in a life time 80% things will not satisfy people, we still have to choose live, not only because we are not brave enough to give up our lives, but also hope for the better lives in the future, with this motive power, I should continue my life for greeting a better future.

Furstration

Today I write a chapter of a new story, I only saved it as a draft cause I am not satisfied with it. I find from designing the structure of the plot to actually writing it there is still quite a far distance. That means I have imaged a good picture of it but not enough detailed plots to support my imagination. In the final analysis I have not the same experience of the characters in this story, that is why I can't create the necessary detailed things for my story. But I am very anxious to give birth to a new work and own affluent experience! Although it means I have to bear more pain feeling than normal people.I still want to have them. Currently I have great pressure for my unsafe situation, so I have not enough passion for writing a new story.

I got a headache after I finished this chapter, it is 2:00 in the morning. Because of the headache I can't fall asleep. These days I am so strange that I always feel asleep at 4:00 in the morning and wake up in the afternoon. I know it is a terrible situation, but for no one can wake me up in the morning, I have to sustain my condition for a period of time. Also because I wake up so late, I have no chance to go outside, always stay in the room. It really brings me much lonely feeling. But how can I change all of these?

So much things to worry about, and I have no idea how to save myself. Maybe I am just short-tempered, what I'd like to do is not suitable for my identity, and missing sleep can't be solved very quickly. When I feel uncomfortable it will be better after I wrote my feeling down. After all getting those things out of my chest will bring me a little bit console.

Lose mind

2010-04-08T17:16:00.005+03:00

The dry eyes look dim,
with no tears to make offering for sadness,
even not able to reflect the sunshine passes through leaf gap;

did not aware of anything for being in lost,
the faint smile outside the anxious thoughts of the season,
so indulge in illusory fantasies,
looking to the ideal boundary of perfection,
in undercurrent of irreversible time,
grope sweet and distinct memories,
if we can let the free wind blowing our consciousness,
then will be able to eliminate the fatigue,
more peacefully get to sleep than anyone else;

to the oath which need not a commitment,
still embrace a vision of looking forward,
passionate eyes,
now what will you reflect into the dream?

The clouds of beautiful sunset is floating endlessly,
it whispers to me,
who gradually begin to fall,
"come to the sea of the colorful glaze",
at another end of sweet fragrance sky I find you,
in the beautiful and dazzling confusion,
the chase is suffocating me,
I do not know whether it is a sweet trap,
How long should I keep on doing this?
although becoming exhausted,
still can't catch the sight of the end of world,
if being trapped in this captivating,
the sky of the night will cover all lives,
spread as spilled ink,
looming over everything into the death.

The idea is sane in the chilly morning,
the sadness plume up as raising smoke to the heart,
does it implicate,
the life you bring to me will eventually fade?

Future prediction

Bet on a single throw and retreat before the impossible, which behavior is more close to noble?

Be surrounded by so much resistance, that even oneself begin to suspect, is it a kind of depletion of time to keep on doing something out of one's capacity.

Besieged on all sides, however still struggle in abyss of misery with no boundaries, trying to beat fate. Gradually become powerless, not only because of tiring, but also for the hurt. If the enemies stab and wound me, I will be stimulated by this action and then fight back. But what about someone are always comrade-in-arms, stop their support and turn the weapon towards you? The hurt is more deep than what the enemy grants me, for it happens when I am absolutely with no alert or expectation, and at the same time I can never accept it emotionally.

Retreat before the impossible, I think my mind has not matured to the extend of giving up doing anything. Any giving up will only brings me serious frustration, that in the future whenever I meet any difficulties, I will doubt my capacity and repeatedly fail. Maybe it is the tragedy of idealists, who always image of the best situation oneself can achieve, nevertheless, in the normal life it is full of things change unpredictably, and the idealists are very easily hurt for things not happening in their original plan. If it is the realist then he can adapt everything peacefully.

It is so difficult to image the condition after I give up. Now I am imaging that, before it happens, I have still gambling for my future and fighting hardly. When I fail, I will block myself in a private room and go on a hunger strike. But the survival instinct will never allow me to do so for a long time. Simultaneously with the coercion of people closest to me, I will find it no point to resist alone those tragedies, neither anyone will come and rescue me. The idea of alley begin to get the run upon, and I am still weak enough not to give up my life.

In order to obtain the power of living, I will try to do something I am really interested in. Because previously I have made a choice to sacrifice my hobbies and run the high risk. However the happy life is also contemporary, for what I am interested in can hardly bring me any income, I am out in a tight spot again.

Therefore I have to learn something starting from scratch. I have wasted so much time on things before, so I am unavoidable to become irritable when I am carrying on my study. My study will naturally not adequately good, but also not terrible enough. Without the passion of life, I become a powerless people, abandon the romantic thought and always worried about tiniest things, receiving the low but stable wages, babbling on and on about the adventure happened in my youth after I become older as a common lady.

I am not sure the things happen after that, for I may still keep on living like this, or, I will sooner or later completely change my job into an ideal one. It's the idealist's another imagination. The change will due to a rare opportunity, so that my fate can really be changed. If it doesn't happen, I may finish my whole life with disappointment.

Expecting all possibilities which could happen in the future, I will try to struggle not to give up the life now. If I finally can not achieve it, I will try to avoid living as those predictions. Also I don't hope to live too long to bear the mental suffering attack me from time to time.

essay

2010-03-30T15:52:00.002+03:00

Every time the anxiety attacks me, the despair will filled in my mind, and I prefer lying in bed than sitting, for I am afraid that sitting will also exhaust my energy. Tensing the curtain, turning on the light on my desk, and I am bundled by the quilt. This will make me feel better. However, the headache is still winding my nerves, and there are waves of pain. Can not think of anything I interested in and be motivate to do, even sleep.

Extremely ashamed, I have to take out the medicine box, swallow one pill, and then back to bed.The pill which is even smaller than my fingernail, will bring me relaxation and the mind of muddle along. 10 minutes after I taking it, the idea is generated,"Another day of living is waiting for me, just survive."

Too many things to worry about. Some are the immediate crisis, others are long-term troubles. None of them are easy to deal with. The only way for me to defend them is having a pill every day. I always image someone to help me, but those who want to help me most are even more nervous than me. Because of love, their nerves become exceedingly sensitive, caring about every movement of mine, and their emotion always shift following my uncertain mood. Therefore, I won't tell them my deepest anxiousness.

Maybe I am also too sensitive, I often pretend to be inadvertently and observe other's attitude, and then I can learn most of what that person is thinking about. Sometimes it is useful, I can handle this situation with ease. However sometimes I feel really tired, for even I know that person's attitude to me, I still can't understand what is the reason he or she would be like that. Is it his or her natural character to everyone, or because of my mistake still unknown to me? If we have no conflict of interest, that is not too important, but if we have, I had to consider it all the time

High ideals are no doubt the motivation of one's power, but in the real life it is full of variable things. Therefore I know what surrounded me and what I am experiencing today may all disappear tomorrow, become a kind of history, a shadowy dream. Not able to look up into the most blue sky, breath the most fresh air and make friend with the most polite people, all of them will disappear in my life. I will have no opportunity, even no reason, to come back, even have an appeal of the old house I have once lived in, I can only come back within the dream; all those furnitures, neighbors and landscapes, lovely birds and beautiful flowers...... In the future, no matter where I go and have a trip, and no matter how beautiful the landscape that place owns, I will always cast down my eyes and be sorrow for a while.

Until now, I have realized that, although undoubtedly I am nice, it doesn't mean I am able to assess all the nice things in this world. On the contrary something which has never been thought of as nice often come into my life. Maybe it is the real test of fate, only in heaven can I always meet whatever I'd like to.

I will go back to another world. A world where people will not deliberately cover up the defect part of their character, there are unclad interest within people's relationships. No matter how difficult to bear the sight of frightfulness, I have to confess that it it the real life.

I always try to avoid meeting the dim part of world, now that I am not able to do so, I have to try to protect myself and maintain the justice myself. Remain the ideal world in my mind for ever.

Slave of common customs

2010-03-27T14:33:00.003+02:00

I have the worst habit of duplicity.

Not only being like this, but I have deeply sinked into it as well.

Repeatedly swearing that I don't care about the secular vision, when I was proud of myself after accomplished some objective. I treat it the greatest character a person should own, because in many first-class literature works almost all the main hero are able to respect all people and are full of the spirit of rebellion. Therefore I once have thought of myself in a righteous way that I am that kind as well. But I actually not that kind, on the contrary, I am the slave of the common customs.

That fear is within my unconsciousness, for I am not a brave person after all. Completely ignoring the bias of customs and doing something looked as "falling" in their views really need the brave extend out of what I can attend. Am I owning the courageous to abandon my studies, taking the risks of bearing poverty and discrimination, to pursue for the life of artist? Am I brave enough to become drunk in order to obtain the inspiration of creation? Am I universally love all kinds of people and experience the same life as the poor? I naturally despise the hypocritical noble people, but I am not necessarily respect the poor people. I am somewhat like a funny ancient person, who loves large dragon, but when the real dragon was in front of him, he just escape as fast as he can. When the real proof has coming, I don't even resist and surrender directly.

I am the slave of common customs, and very faithfully. In front of me is the rapid and unfathomable river, and I have to walk though it independently with no resorting. In order to win the appreciate vision of society, although I didn't think in that way due to my denying of my vanity thought, I am actually involved with the great dangerous.

In order to satisfy my vainglory which is innate to me, and to please the public, I choose to carry a ring of light on my head as an angel, irreversibly walked into the river. The water level continuously cover my body, until now it has strangled my throat, and the most important thing is that I don't know how deep the water will be in the future.

Acting without considering about self capacity is foolish in one perspective, and in another perspective I treat running risk of great failure. I clearly know if I fail to do so I will be hurt seriously, and unable to get up after a fall. I am also not unrestrained enough to give up, not because I am very strong, on the contrary insisting on doing something is precisely because of the fragile, afraid of self-denial and can not bear that all the things I do are just waste of time. Moreover, if I abandon doing this, I myself will fear the pressure coming from all area.

So now I am still in the rapid river, being caught in a delimma. Knowing nothing about condition in another band, I blindly follow the way paved for me by secular. On one hand I dislike the secular sense of worth, but on another hand I can't escape from it, for I also have vainglory, and it can only be satisfied in the area of society, only being surrounded by those flattering people. It is obvious that I have not enough talent of doing those current things, I still try to do them.

Due to those, I have given up many things, generally becoming boring as those people, and more and more similar with them. My inspiration is running off from my thought. Now I feel very choppy even for writing such a normal essay. Creative passion is very fragile, I can only complete a work under a fully relaxed condition. If I can really ignore the pressure of society, walk though them without even having a look at them, and create my own work, then I will not be far away from a great artist.

Carrying the great trust of secular, I walked towards the front totteringly betraying my own will.
