Magicians are highly creative individuals. At times its hard for magicians to keep that edge in their performance if they are executing the same tricks over and over and over again. They are so creative that they tend to get bored easily. Its imperative that magicians are always challenging themselves with their knowledge and performance of magic. Getting out of your comfort zones and trying something new will keep your passion and performance alive. One of the greatest ways to do this is experiment with inventing your own magic tricks. Here are a few steps to help you along the way: Firstly, brainstorm about tricks. When you do this, just let your mind wander as far as it can go. Dont limit your thinking to what you think is possible, think of the impossible. What would you want the over-all effect to be? For example, do you want to remove your head off of your body and set it on a table, while still talking to the audience? This is the kind of out of the box thinking you need to do in this stage. Go for the most unbelievable effect.
