I have DECIDED

2011-01-22T07:32:00.000-08:00

what to ask for in my wish list from Torrid!
I'd just like to share with you some things that I'll be reviewing in the next couple of days.
ENJOY!

Red Pleated Short Sleeved Dress

I like the red dress with the zebra tights. Oh and trust that I WILL be recreating this exact look as soooon as I get the dress!

Black Underwire Lace Teddy

I will most definitely be pairing this with skirts and my tank short romper!

Turquoise Rosette Pencil Skirt

THIS SKIRT IS EPIC! I'm going to wear the shit outta you<3 href="http://www.torrid.com/torrid/Clothing/JacketsOuterwear/Olive-Corporal-Blazer-570607.jsp">
Olive Corporal Blazer

This blazer could have had a better shape but I cannot pass up adding this color to my wardrobe!

Grey Rinse Denim Jegging

I have the blue jean version of these and I have to say, most comfortable bottoms EVER! They 're not only in this grungy grey, they also hold you in up top which is nothing to complain about.

Gold Leopard Leggings

I actually bought them in a size smaller and realized they didn't fit like I wanted.
I LOVE this print though so I'm going to get them in my correct size and keep it gucci ;)

(love this outfit!)

2011-01-12T10:20:00.000-08:00

It seems like all of my hard work is finally paying off! The company Torrid has decided to send me clothing of theirs to review and I couldn't be any more excited or honored. I plan on doing more reviews and even giveaways in the very near future.

I want to let you know that everyone who is following this blog and commenting are the ones who really got me here. I hope you continue to grow with me and my projects because I'm telling you, this is JUST the beginning.

They've asked me to make a wish list and to send it to them on the last week of January.
Here's what I've come up with:

If you have any suggestions about what I should review, send me a link, drop me a line, tweet at me or you know, you could just employ the comment box below!

This Months Favorite Outfit

2011-01-11T17:48:00.001-08:00

I recently decided to award one outfit a month the MY FAVORITE OUTFIT award and I know it's only the 11th BUT I'm pretty sure nothing will top this for me.

So this is how it began.

I just wanted to take some shots of my arms in all of their fat glory and I threw on this dress from Torrid. I decided the belt would be something a little different to pair with a sassy black dress. I was right, but it was GOOD different. I took a few photos with the dress off but ultimately decided that a cardigan wouldn't hurt. Also added my hand mirror necklace

Then I put on the ring ya'll

and then I just set it off around my apartment.

SKIRTS IN WINTER

2011-01-11T17:25:00.001-08:00

We're fucking doing it.
I don't care if you lace legging's it up or even do tights, just do it.

I'm already ready for Summer as you may have seen in some of my tumblr posts but I swear I can taste it!

Oh! and lemme tell you about my romper(s)! They're both from Torrid, one of them has a sleeve but the other is a tank romper. Both look great with belts, blazers and cardigans. OH AND FUCKING FLANNEL!

The COMFORT!
THE VERSATILITY (which I will show you nothing about but trust me theres more than one way to play this baby.)
and THE IDEA THAT WEARING SUMMERY CLOTHES WILL MAKE IT SUMMER :D

MORE PHOTOS OF SKIRTS IN WINTER!!!!!

****I wanna give a shout out to the new belt I bought from Torrid, it's an olive color and really adds to a bunch of my outfits; from skirts to rompers to slacks, this belt not only adds color it but because of it's braided feature it adds some boho chic.

Outfit of the Day!

2010-12-08T10:48:00.000-08:00

I'm not done flaunting my lace leggings!

***NOTE! if you're getting these lace leggings or you're thinking about it, make sure you go a size up, I'm a 3 at Torrid and these things are not holding up that well, already experiencing some holes SO! I bought a size four, it should be here within the next few days and I'll report back hopefully before I leave the country on 12/12

HEAUX'S LOVE HOSIERY!

2010-12-06T23:36:00.000-08:00

MAKE UP TIP #48340: adding a shimmery yellow to your bottom lash line closest to your cornea, gives you this ^

Hello babies, how have you been? I hope fashionable like moi. *silly french laughter*

MOVING ON.

I recently fell in love with my big fat LEGS.

I looked at them in my full length mirror and told them just how I felt.
I said "LEGS! now you look at me gahtdambit!" *shakes legs* "You gon' be great you hear me?! I SAID GREAT!!!"
Then I followed that little number with a bottle of my cheapest moscato paired with this weeks GG, DID YOU SEE LILY'S NECKLACE?! I die.

BACK ON TRACK!

I've been loving my legs but loving your legs in December ain't nothin' easy. You gotta keep em warm, moisturized and most of all COVERED. I was devastated by that revelation UNTIL

*cue disco music* I SAW ZEEES! AND I JUST KNEW I HAD TO HAVE ZEM!
LACE FUCKIN LEGGINGS (fucking not included)

These bad boys are not only comfortable, but they hold my gut in properly, giving me the illusion of a washboard slab....yeah. They're not Spanx but they will hold you in about the same.

I'm wearing these, forever. Not only are they comfy, THEY MATCH EVERYTHING annnnnnnd they go with my new boots!

yeah, all bugs and shit on the ground beware...IM STOMPIN THIS SEASON!

With the boots and the lace leggings, I didn't think anything could get better BUT I WAS WRONG DAWG!

ZEBRA FISHNETS?! I CAN HAS THEM?! Oh and the answer is "yes I can has" cause...I do has.
I'm planning on keeping my legs to myself and wrapped in all types of lace and knits, and I'd advise you to do the same. It's good look, not that expensive and it's warm.

Here's a video about my adventures in hosiery and enjoy some outfit's that I put together!

Outfit of the Day AND DANCING (and contest deets)

2010-11-22T19:51:00.001-08:00

usually not this coked out.

SOOOOOOOO, meet my new favorite outfit bitches. I look like a sexy gothic seal. I'm feeling like this is the most slender I have ever looked in my life, these jeggings/jants/lants are giving me the lower body curve of a buxom pinup girl. I'm going to have to wear this again soon and I might not even heed my own 6 day rotation rule.

The earrings were changed mid day so please, peep em!

I hope you enjoy this video, I know I enjoyed dancin' and goonin.

Outfit of the day AND A CONTEST BITCHESSSSSS

Outfit of the Day - URBAN GAY HARDCORE....yeah.

2010-11-19T10:37:00.000-08:00

RED.

2010-11-16T20:34:00.000-08:00

(sassy ;*)
I'm going to start this off with admitting to you that I do not wear red. I do not consort with the color unless it is in harmony with other power colors (i.e. blue, black, white). I'm not sure when I made this decision but I assure you it has been in effect my entire life.

Recently I met a friend named Nikki who is also plus size, fabulous and FASHIONABLE. It's like eating an entire cake and then finding out it was just 10 calories(that shit doesn't exist, do not be fooled...by whoever is going around with cakes and lying about caloric value...right). MOVING ON. (nikki)
Nikki and I immediately started to swap clothes and Saturday was when I got this sweet fuckin red button down.

When I first saw it, I was like "ehhhhhh buhhh isssss redddd!!!" BUT THEN I STOPPED BEING A PUNK BITCH *deep breath* and realized I looked pretty great. BALLERIFIC even.

I paired it with the skirt I bought at target this summer and instantly fell in love. True fashionistas love when an outfit just...works.

I have yet to pair it with any accessories but I feel like earrings wouldn't make a difference and a necklace would be in competition with my boobs...perhaps a barrette? I'll figure it out.
(blingariffic)
The shoes are kind of a conversation piece, they're grey box flats with MAD DIMUNZ.
I'm feeling kinda jazzy about them. I can't lie. I know you feel it too.

So, these are a few pics of me just getting my Niaomi on, enjoy:

LUMBERJACK chic.

2010-11-07T13:06:00.000-08:00

THE MOHAWK IS HERE. and boy is it big.

The moey didn't take me too long to do, crochet braids are as simple as they look in every tutorial video I've ever seen. Oh but make sure your braids are tight, it sucks to have to go back and redo an entire section, trust me. All in all, I think it's a great style, it's simple and gives you a really edgy look.

Earrings are Forever 21, I have faith that these won't break seeing as how you can usually trust Forever's button earrings, anything that dangles however, will break.

AND NOW THE OUTFIT!

Flannel Shirt - Torrid
Long Vest - Torrid
Jeggings - Torrid
Shoes - you guessed right if you said TORRID

I wasn't crazy about this outfit, it's comfortable but I think I'll skip the vest next time and just wear a blazer.

SCARVES!

2010-11-04T12:28:00.000-07:00

As of very recently I've been into scarves, all length's, textures, COLORS, yes.
It's to the point where I'm destroying dresses and skirts that are no long in season and turning them into, you guessed it, SCARVES!

HERE ARE A FEW OF MY CREATIONS:

FROM THIS

TO THIS

FROM THIS

TO THIS

and lastly, FROM THIS

TO THIS

It's very simple to do and I'd advise you only destroy things you can semi part with. All of the dresses/skirts I destroyed were between 10$ and 20$, that's a price range I figure someone could live with for a new scarf especially since a good scarf can run you upwards of 60$....no and maam!

If you make any scarves yourself let me know! Post photos! Make videos :)

super grungy.

2010-11-02T21:14:00.000-07:00

I'm in a mood, deal with it.

I wanted to be fat Jenny Humphrey okay?
I grayed out my eyes with Mabelline's Snow Eye Compact, kept my brow bone clean and created a shadow around my eyebrows.
Then came IMAN's RED red lipstick, it's everything you could want in a red and EVERYTHING you could want in a lipstick, it's wet, doesnt dry your lips and costs 10$ at your local Target. GET IT.
Cheeks are swept with FOREVER COLOR's Dynamite eyeshadow, I find it works better than actual blush since it's so pigmented and I don't do bright colors on my eyes normally.
OH and if you couldn't tell, I totally liquid eyeliner'd my lower lash line, if I can't grow it I'm gon' design it.

AND HERE'S THE OUTFIT PEOPLE!

2010-10-31T17:31:00.000-07:00

I've decided it's time...to unleash....the moey :)

It all started this morning when I was putting on my hair hat, it's long flowing tresses frizzy and dry looking. I hate how one month of wear and I'm ready to re-up but beauty costs booty(the pirate kind) and I'm not one to go out looking less than. Recently, however, I've missed the simple pleasures of natural hair, you know; the wind tussling my bangs, running my fingers through a just washed mane of curls and then there's the whole sexual aspect of things (you know he aint finna grab mah yaki!)

All of these things set in motion, at 2 o'clock when I got off of work it was straight to the curling iron and hot comb to get this do, did.

Here are some photos of me and my new hair plus, as I'm sure you'll notice, my outfit is VERY New York, yum.
