OK I think I may ahve gotten that part figured out - someone else generated the ssh keys for me and sent me the file so my .pub file already had data in it, which is why I think I was getting the error.

My issue now is I have saved the .pub key, and am now trying to access the key using Bbedit and SFTP; I get tot he screen where it asks for the password for my SSH key id_rsa, but i was told there is not one; when I leave it empty I get an error. Hopefully this makes sense to someone who can help!

Hi! When i followed the steps for Mac above, at the end when I type in ~/.ssh/id_rsa.pub | pbcopy the terminal says "permission denied". I checked all my permissions for each folder and it says I have read/write access to those files and locations - at least to the .ssh folder, and the id_rsa.pub file - can anyone help me understand what that means or what I may be missing? Thank you so much!!

I'm also new to rsync.
Can I share my document folder on multiple computers and have all my documents in sync across all computers?
How are conflicts handled and resolved?
Do I need to keep the strongspace.app open and running in the background on each machine?

I'm new to github, and maybe I just don't know how to use it, but I didn't see the strong space app there.
Where is development for this going on? Where can we download the latest version, or contribute to development?
