Ruslan Savchyshyn - Director of MagneticOne took part in “Meet Magento Belarus 2011” that took place at Minsk International Educational Center.

The conference was organized by aheadWorks - e-commerce development company and Varien - Magento founder.

Ruslan Savchyshyn had a speech about implementing Agile technologies in developing solutions for Magento platform. Also he talked about Store Manager for Magento - as a great software for quick and easy management of Magento store. This presentation arouse hot discussion between developers. MagneticOne Team took part in Lviv Ecommerce Forum to share our company experience to Ukrainian IT - community.

Ruslan Savchyshyn, director of MagneticOne, made a speech about world payment systems and their using in Ukraine. This information was especially useful because of its practical aspect. Ruslan talked about e-commerce in general, its trends in Ukraine. MagneticOne director had talked about KPI in business. Oleg Cherevatyy - commercial director of MagneticOne held a speech about shopping carts and the needs of their users. He also talked how to create your own e-commerce store and start working with your customers.

Recently Ruslan Savchyshyn, the director of MagneticOne took part in the ISDEF Spring 2011 conference. Ruslan Savchyshyn made a speech about effective promotion of software products. The conference took place on April 22-24 in Kiev. It was organized by ISDEF, Independent Software Developers Forum.

The ISDEF Spring conference was held in a form of round tables and covered various aspects of software development business — from legal issues and human resource management to PR and marketing. The conference was attended by over 200 participants from different areas. A friendly atmosphere encouraged people to face-to-face communication, sharing of experience and establishing personal contacts.

In his speech Ruslan Savchyshyn shared practical experience of software development and promotion, namely the usage of Social Media, video-marketing, SEO, PR. The audience was especially impressed with a new analytics tool for software developers - Software Statistics Service.

Software Statistics Service helps software developers to better understand what happens to their software after it was downloaded. It tracks desktop software usage and collects information about the number of its downloads, installations. How many times a user runs it? If a user starts it - is he using it more than once? Is he really engaged with it? What parts of the software are used (modules, forms, sections), how often? This information allows software developers to create solutions that respond to users needs, improve marketing strategies and thus significantly increase the profit.

Ternopil Association Of IT Professionals Was Officially Presented

On November 27, Ternopil Association of IT professionals (TAIT) began its official activity and was publicly presented. The aim of TAIT association is to create the community of IT professionals in Ternopil and exchange experience in the field of high technologies. As an official member and one of association founders, MagneticOne took an active part in the organization of the event that took place in “Podolyany” trade center.

The festive event included exciting contests, quizzes, “Roborace” International Robot Racing Championship, high-tech products exhibition, computer building competition, QR-quest. People could either take part in those activities or just watch and enjoy the spectacular show.

Among the activities the QR-quest was the most thrilling one. Such a competition took place for the first time in Ternopil. 13 teams were struggling to win the main prize. Each team had to find special QR-signs, which contained prompts for next tasks. In order to get a QR-cod, teams had to fulfill various funny assignments: sing, dance and answer tricky questions. MagneticOne team called “Liars” became the winner of the quest. All the participants and the audience got tons of fun and pleasure!
